Yes, 5 stars. This place is legit. I've been waxing for years and finally got frustrated with paying all that money and going through pain every 6 weeks to have hair grow back a few weeks later. I decided to give laser hair removal a try. I did a lot of research and after 1 disastrous experience elsewhere I decided to try Beverly Hills Laser Clinic. I am so glad I did. Mary is very sweet. She makes sure you feel comfortable and fully explains what is going to happen. She emphasizes that this treatment should not hurt. It all sounds too good to be true but it's really not. I started with just underarms. Mary wasn't lying... it didn't hurt... at all. I had not waxed or shaved in 7 weeks so the hair was long. Mary made fast work of it with absolutely no pain, no heat, nothing. I suddenly felt very confident so I agreed to do more - legs and bikini. 30 mins later it was all done. NO PAIN. I'm not kidding you, absolutely no pain at all. I went home feeling really excited and hopeful that the hair would be gone soon. I was pleasantly surprised to find clumps of hair fall into the tub when I showered later that night. Within a week I could see a massive difference in the amount of hair remaining where Mary had treated. I wish I could leave a better review as Mary is very nice but this did not work for my daughter. She did many areas of her body and I spent A LOT of money and it didn't work. She went at least 6-8 times and there is very little to no difference. My daughter is fair and has dark hair so she should be the perfect candidate. I wanted to give this place 5 stars because I was initially very happy with the results. I went in for a Brazilian and upper lip hair removal treatment. The bikini treatment went very well and I noticed results after 1 visit. The upper lip hair removal treatment did not work. That wasn't he problem though. The problem was that Mary did NOT tell me to keep my face out of the sun after the treatment and I got melasma above my lip for the first time in 34 years. She told me her laser was "different" than every other laser that the rest of the world uses and I did not need to stay out of the sun. WRONG. IF YOU DO A LASER HAIR REMOVAL TREATMENT ON YOUR UPPER LIP YOU NEED TO STAY OUT OF THE SUN TO AVOID DARK SPOTS FORMING!!! She will deny that it had anything to do with her laser but it 100% did. I don't think it's a coincidence that a week after the laser treatment I got dark spots. Then she had some "doctor" text me to discuss what happened. I showed him pics and went over my story with him in its entirety. Not sure why he even contacted me because he did nothing at all and it was a waste of my time to even respond to him because he didn't help me fix it or resolve the problem. He simply just got all my info and did nothing with it. We went around 2 pm and she continuously yapped for 3 hrs! And she told us everything useless and was way too over friendly, I was shocked as I had so my many questions and it was suppose to be a consultation for my Laser and how the conversation became about guys getting married just to have sex and it was super embarrassing as I was with my parents! She kept on her level of obscenity and her only mission behind yapping for straight 3 hrs was to get us into buying a package for 6 sittings. We thankfully thought a lot about it and because of the kind of negativity I was getting from her i dint go for a package but I went for my first sitting in my next visit and oh my this female she didn't even say a hello! So now from blabbering all nonsense to not giving a second to talk and straight going to the session which dint even last for 3 whole minutes! But I still dint lose hope because of all the reviews I read about the results and everything on yelp I still planned to go for another sitting and between the next sitting I DID NOT SEE 1% reduction or any Change in my hair growth. I paid for 2 sittings $199 each and I have now wasted my $400 excluding the amount spent on traveling to this shitty place.
