While the orthodontist herself is kind and professional, the business side has been a nightmare and feels completely dishonest. I was told my child needed a $4,000 expander and that insurance would cover $2,000. I trusted them and went ahead with the treatment. Nearly a year later, I discovered my insurance never received a claim. After months of chasing both my insurance and the office, I learned BH Pediatric never submitted the required pre-authorization. When they finally backdated the claim, it was denied. Their response? "It's not our job to submit claims, only a courtesy. You signed paperwork, so it's your problem." That excuse cost me $2,000. This is not how a trustworthy, family-focused practice should operate. They pushed treatment immediately, failed to handle the insurance properly, and then refused to take responsibility. If you value honesty and integrity in your child's care, look elsewhere.

The crazy part about going to see Dr. Lempert is my older daughter was really upset that she had to go to school and couldn't go to the dentist. She LOVES Dr. Lempert and thinks she's magical. Growing up I would have never, ever begged my parents to miss school to see the Dentist, but somehow, Dr. Lempert has made the experience for my children so incredible that they think it's a treat every time we go. (And, yes, they've both had cavities and had to get work done!) There is something really special about Dr. Lempert that no other dentist can rival. She is wonderful, kind, great with kids, and very good at her job. She is quick to get in, get things done right and move on with the day... I LOVE that! I love the ease of making appointments, they send reminders, and I have no trouble rescheduling when I need to. It's a dream for parents. And, I have to be extra thankful because I had never even thought to use my insurance to cover the cleanings until the last visit- and low and behold, we were covered all this time and never knew! The girls in the front are gems- they know what they're doing and can literally figure it all out for you if you don't know what is covered, etc. I asked a zillion questions, got great answers and have never been happier to learn that most of what my children have needed has been covered. They make it really easy, which is so nice. If you haven't been happy with your dentist, or are looking for a place to start- look no further. We hit the jackpot with Dr. Lempert, and I pray she never retires because my kids absolutely love her... and who loves going to the dentist?

I began Invisalign here as an adult, expecting perfect results for both my bite and teeth alignment. The staff is polite, and the trays are comfortable, but the treatment itself was a complete disappointment. I feel extremely upset and misled in the overall results from this treatment. It was supposed to take between 12 to 18 months, but it ended up taking 22, and it would've taken even longer possibly forever, as they wanted a fifth set of refinements after I already did four previously with every each one costing extra. Every time I was told this was the last refinement sets of trays which would ensure my bite and teeth to get perfect, it never was, and to say that I feel lied to is an understatement. I followed the instructions perfectly by always wearing the trays for 23 hours daily, and switching trays weekly, leaving only one hour daily to eat and brush teeth. Sometimes I even went two or three days without removing the trays to ensure that the progress was working, meaning I skipped eating completely and solely relied on water. Yet my bite is still messed up, and pops every time I open my mouth, chew, or even talk since it is still misaligned, inequal, as well as the midline being off making the smile completely uneven. Invisalign barely straightened my teeth and did nothing to fix my bite, only camouflaging the issues, as I'm still not done with the treatment, and never would've been if I had continued each refinement tray, by wasting more time, wasting more money, and wasting more energy on refinement trays that wouldn't have given me the desirable ideal results that I craved from the very beginning which I let my orthodontics know each visit. I'm still insecure by my smile and overall teeth, and besides my popping jaw, I even suggested multiple times on switching to braces for better results, but they insisted I continue with Invisalign, which wasted almost two years of my life. Every new refinement set I was told that it would give me the best results and that this would be the final treatment, yet it just kept going, camouflaging the issues without actually solving the root problem. Although some teeth look straighter, they're not fully straight, and they camouflage the bite which obviously isn't great. On top of that, the advertised $1,000 discount is misleading. If you pay in full, you only get a 10% discount, and if you finance, the same amount is eaten up by interest, so there's no real savings. I paid approximately $8,100 at this orthodontic clinic only to end up leaving disappointed with no real results, and I deeply regret that this clinic is more of a business cares more about making money out of their patients, rather than recommending the best results. This is the biggest waste of money, waste of time, waste of energy, l've ever spent on something. In the very beginning I was told that I was a great candidate for braces and Invisalign, and that I ultimately had the choice to pick what I wanted. I mentioned from my very first consultation that I wanted the treatment which gave me the best possible results, with an ideal bite, perfect smile, and healthy teeth. Unfortunately the person who consulted me cared about making more profit instead of actually helping my problems. I'm now moving to Damon braces at another clinic for half the cost, which should actually give me the results I wanted. It is interesting that I will spend less money with nearly half the cost, treatment time, and actually get more from it, where I spent double the amount at this orthodontics, and barely achieving anything besides camouflage.I can only speak for Invisalign, and not braces, but because this clinic strictly pushes for Invisalign over braces I had to find out by doing my own research why that is. The more patients that sign up for invisalign, helps them achieve the 1% diamond provider for Invisalign program, which rewards the clinic with more profits when more patients sign up for Invisalign, making it feel like their priority is growing sales rather than achieving perfect results for individual patients. Overall I feel very misled, scammed, and completely let down. If I could give zero stars, I would. My reviews were previously reported and removed for duplicate reviews so I'm reposting on one of their clinics out of their four locations available locations, my statement still stands. read more

They will contact yelp to delete your comments if you give them a bad review. But I wouldn't give up and will keep making complaint against them. I must tell others about my upsetting experience with them. Other 2 or 3-start comments about this clinic is right, this is definitely a money-oriented business and don't care about the patient. If you want an orthodontics, at least visit other orthodontists before you consider this one and you will know the difference. It would definitely save your time and money. 1. Hidden charges and unexpected bills (1) They play a word game to you, that they will not charge you but they will charge your insurance for their "complimentary" consultation. And as we know, these charges will influence our other treatments due to annual maximum benefits. At my second call, I made sure me and my insurance wouldn't be charged. But I was still charged for $150. The manager only explained I couldn't tell who answered the phone call and she wouldn't do anything for it. But I'm happy that my insurance know their "tricks" and only give them $0.50 to get rid of them. (2) their treatment fees for invisalign seems a little lower than others but it actually has shorter treatment period and it may don't include the retainer. You have no idea what you will pay in future. 2. They care more about the quantity than quality of the treatment I have consulted several orthodontists for invisalign and my expectation for the treatment is not only to align my teeth but also push back my lower teeth to get the cosmetic result. All of other orthodontist told me that I need extractions and it will take 18-24 months. But only the orthodontist here told me that I could finish within 1 year and I don't need any extraction. Obviously, the orthodontist don't care about what the best result and just want to do less work and finish it as soon as possible. I guess, the rating of invisalign is based on the quantity. But for the patient, quality is more important because you will spend a few grands and time on this, everyone want to get the best result in one treatment period. 3. Doctor will go for lunch at the time of your appointment and leave you there. My appointment was at 12:30. I arrived between 12:25-12:30 but I was told that the doctor went for lunch, for lunch!! I was busy that morning and in order to show my respect for the doctor and arrive in time for the appointment, I didn't have lunch and rushed to the clinic. So you could imagine, how shocked I was when I was told the doctor ignored my appointment, went for lunch. If the doctor must have lunch at 12:30, then don't make an appointment with me. I tried my best not to be late, please at least show the respect to the patient. read more

Dr. Erin Cohen is the BEST orthodontist EVER!! If you need braces or know someone who does, check out Beverly Hills Orthodontics! If you are looking for perfection she is there to deliver!!! Her enthusiasm for what she does makes you feel you are in good hands. She really makes you comfortable with whatever treatment she has install for you. She explains everything as the treatment goes on, excited every time she sees results. I have had braces twice and invisalign before seeing Dr. Cohen. The Invisalign treatment I had didn't straighten my teeth because I had went to a dentist and not an orthodontist for the treatment and the dentist didn't know what he was doing...big, expensive, naive mistake on my end. NEVER DO THAT!! I know now that there is more to just taking a mold and sending it off to get a treatment designed especially for you. Orthodontists are trained professionals for the straightening of teeth- not dentists! Beverly Hills Orthodontics' pristine environment and friendly staff made me feel like this doctor's office was serious about what they do. After explaining my story to Dr. Cohen she designed a treatment that didn't even involve braces- just a retainer (this considering I had lots of corrections already). I saw results within the first 6 weeks and was satisfied after the third visit to check how things were going. I was ready to take those "after pictures" and say thanks for my perfect smile!! Dr. Cohen is such a perfectionist that she will not let you take those "after pictures" or final impressions until she is totally happy with your smile. She wants everything to be absolutely perfect. I love that about her!! You want to go to Dr. Cohen if you want perfect teeth. There is a cool confidence about her that I will always appreciate. Money grubbing and wildly unprofessional. I will say this--the care my daughter gets here is excellent. For the amount of money these people rake in, the care better be amazing! Other than that, I hate this practice. These people are money grubbing and shady. I received a text message that my October payment didn't go through, and so I kindly reminded the office that the last payment on my account should have carried us to November. They replied and said that they had updated my account, but never did they apologize for trying to charge me twice. When I wrote back, noting that there was no apology for the attempted double charge, the reply I got was, "we apologize that you feel this way". I was taken aback by this and responded saying that was a passive aggressive response. I asked them to apologize for their error and not to apologize for the way they think I feel. Unbelievable. And when I asked them if my insurance will be paying any of my balance, they said they'd get back to me and they never did. I've had it with this office. All they care about is money. They double dip by receiving insurance money and also making the patients pay thousands of dollars out of pocket. On top of that, they double dip when charging the card in file! How can they justify charging an account when that account is ahead on payments?? And why would the account not be updated at the time of the last payment to prevent this from happening?? TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. Go to a more honest doctor. read more

I have definitely taken everything for granted! Scrolling through some old photos, I realize so much has changed since I first sat down at the office and worked out a plan with Dr. Madan. I had worn braces before, but I fell out of the habit of wearing retainers daily. My mom is a dentist and a perfectionist, and we are so glad we found a lovely place like Beverly Hills Orthodontics. Dr. Maden is very sweet and kind. She tailored a treatment for me and frequently checks in to make sure everything is on track. I first went on trays with Invisalign and now have them incorporated with braces. Everything is coming together, and I cannot be more grateful. People at here are amazing. Everyone is very friendly and patient. Cesar Chavez has been adjusting my wires recently. He treats his work very seriously, and I have always left with perfectly fitted wires. I highly recommend Dr. Madan. I love going to the office and seeing her and the staff. The office is state of the art. I had braces as a kid and my teeth shifted so I opted for Invisalign. I had other consultations before starting my treatment with Dr. Madan and found her to be the most honest, knowledgeable, friendly and caring. I totally trust Dr. Madan and I'm so glad I found her. I have talked with Dr. Cohen as well on the phone when I had a question during off hours. She was the Dr. on call and got right back to me. She was very helpful. Dr. Madan has called and text me after hours to check on me. She really goes the extra mile. I'm halfway through my treatment and my teeth already look fantastic. Getting braces at 38 was a huge decision made so much easier because of Dr. Madan. She has accomplished the incredible feat of making my once horribly crooked bottom teeth perfectly straight within the year that she promised. Best of all, I have actually enjoyed going to every appointment because Dr. Madan is so wonderful to be around and everyone in the office is friendly, happy, and extremely professional. Additionally, it is such a beautiful office- modern and with incredible views over Beverly Hills. What a lovely practice! I am living in LA for a couple of months for work and my son's wire broke on his braces. Our orthodontist is in NYC and the wire was digging into the side of his mouth. He couldn't wait to return home, I needed to find an orthodontist fast. I found Beverly Hill Orthodontics online and called to see if they might be able to help. And without hesitation, they squeezed me in the same day. Upon arrival, everyone was extremely friendly and the office was beautiful. Minutes after checking in, my son was in the chair. His braces were fixed in less than 10 mins by a super courteous technician by the name of Caesar. And to my surprise, upon checking out, they said there was no fee. Going to the orthodontist would normally be a chore but I actually look forward to going to my appointments! The office is bright and pretty with lovely views of LA all the way from Century City to the Hollywood sign. The atmosphere is welcoming, fun and friendly. Dr Monica and her staff are just the absolute best. Office is beautiful and clean. Staff is great and kind and have never had any issues whatsoever. The work that she and her staff members do is just 10/10. They are also so welcoming and genuinely kind. Dr Monica and even members of her staff like Anthony will have genuine conversations with you and make you feel the most comfortable. If you call to make your first consultation appointment, they will ask your credit card number, which I felt very weird in the first place. I never visited this office, but was charged $150 for canceling my first consultation appointment. Can you believe this? On the appointment date, I called them twice to cancel but ended up leaving two voicemails. They never returned the call and just billed $150 on my credit card. When I looked at my credit card bill about a month later, I found this and called them to ask if they can return a portion of the full amount because they did not notify me correctly. The answer was just NO! and It was too late to dispute to my credit card company. It was Judy the front desk assistant. Not warm and not welcoming at all. read more

I never expected this to be so easy! First off, Dr Madden and the entire staff are friendly, knowledgable and very willing to work with you to get the right results! I am midway through my Invisalign treatments and i'm seeing amazing results! My teeth are already looking so much better. Thanks to Dr Maddens methods and skills. I know having braces seems like its extremely time consuming, and at first it can be. But you get into a pattern of cleaning that isn't as tedious as i sounds and pretty soon you enjoy the clean feeling your mouth has. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who struggles with their smile, feel they have crowded teeth, have constant issues with their teeth, or if you just want an aesthetically change. read more

I don't write reviews on Yelp, but I had to join so I could write a review about Dr. Madan and her staff - they are amazing!! When you walk into the office you are always greeted with a smile. They are very thorough and they gladly answered all of my questions, and I always have a lot of questions. I debated getting Invisalign for several years and finally decided to do it. I'm not even halfway through my 35 Invisalign trays and there has already been a huge difference in my smile. I actually feel a lot less self-conscious when taking pictures. The office is also beautiful with big windows and a view of the mountains which is very soothing. You can't go wrong picking this office to improve your smile. read more

I have had braces twice throughout my childhood, and as such I was reluctant to start any additional orthodontic work. I was forced to however when asymmetrical jaw growth began causing me pain, and thankfully Dr. Madan has been able to correct that and my teeth using Invisalign. There were concerns that my jaw may continue to grow since I was only 22 when I began my treatment, but she navigated this complication successfully. My jaw has been corrected and my teeth more aligned than ever. I'm very happy that I decided to get this work done at Beverley Hills orthodontics; they've also been accommodating to my chaotic schedule due to school and travel. THE VERY BEST!!!! My children have been with Dr. Cohen for the past three years. My 12 year old daughter had a palette expander to fix a serious cross-bite. Braces followed for 18 months. They recently came off to reveal a radiant, strong, healthy smile. AMAZING. My son also had a palette expander, headgear and retainer which were extremely successful. The office has a very welcoming, friendly and professional atmosphere. All staff members are knowledgeable and have been a pleasure to deal with over the years. We have been thrilled with the personal attention and amazing care we have received. I cannot recommend Doctors Cohen and Madden more highly for any orthodontic needs. read more

What can I say? I went in for three consultations before I decided to make the leap to get my teeth fixed. Dr. Madan did a great job of explaining my options to me even with my bonding on. She was easy going and very knowledgable. I appreciate how clean and well maintained the office is. They have state of the art equipment and the staff are all extremely friendly. Honestly, I've already recommended BHO to multiple friends and wouldn't go anywhere else to have my teeth worked on. I'm on my eighth month with my braces and my teeth look amazing. If you are considering having any type of dental work done, stop looking. This is the place to go. read more

You really, really have to watch them because they are constantly trying to upsell you on something, like nearly every visit it's always something different that they want to do to my teeth and it's starting to get on my nerves. Everything is always a catastrophe with them, even when my teeth are perfectly fine. I have no major issues beyond the usual tartar buildup, cavities (level 1 last time I was in), and wisdom teeth woes that everyone struggles with. And yet nearly every single time I come into this office, they're trying to sell me something and push some unnecessary procedure on me that I didn't ask for. One day it's some sort of flouride trays you wear overnight because apparently my teeth are going to fall out of my head otherwise. Then some other time they want to file my teeth down and put crowns on them because I have a bit of mild permanent staining on my molars which I have had for years and told them I really don't care about. I don't work in television so no one is looking in my mouth like that. Just on and on constant catastrophes and making it seem like I am in some sort of imminent dental danger unless I do this very expensive thing to my teeth. And of course when you decline they huff and puff and start with the "well akshually" song and dance, and I try very hard to sit there and not argue with them because all I want is to get my teeth cleaned and go home. From my own observations, it seems that a lot of this behavior is a mixture of arrogance stemming from their overhyped, wealthy, but clueless clientele, one or two celebrity clients who probably get everything comped unlike us mere plebs, and simply pure, zip code snobbery. A lot of people are paying out of pocket, don't ask what they're paying for, but as long as you spin them a good story about how amazing something is and how it's going to give them Hulk teeth that can chomp dinosaur bones to bits, they don't really care and aren't interested. I mean that's fine for other people, but I've had bad experiences with dentists in the past trying to bleed me dry when they find out you're not broke so I have learned to question them when they tell you things - half of the stuff they recommend is not necessary unless you have really, really jacked up teeth. Which I don't. I also forgot to mention that one of their billers tried to get me to drop my excellent insurance plan with Delta Dental for something through Covered CA which would, of course, increase the amount of money they could charge me. Never saw her again after I called them out on this nonsense. Then after my last visit they lied YET AGAIN and said I only have two covered cleanings in a calendar year which is a bunch of bull - all cleanings are covered, so again the constant lying and gaslighting with them is insane. And the last time I came in, they had a TikTok streamer or whatever with his gold chains jangling and one of the hygienists standing in the lobby taking up all the oxygen yapping about their tens of hundreds of views and trading tips on how to viralmaxx their accounts. i know it's LA so everyone is almost famous, but no. I know people are reading this and probably wondering why I keep going back. The truth is I enjoy seeing them die a little inside every time I come in and refuse all their ridiculous $5000 treatment plans and basically walk out paying at most $100 or so for routine cleanings and fillings. They get so bitter when you come in with nice teeth; they'll literally stonewall you and pout and not speak to you or be friendly during your treatment, it's just hilarious to me to see them try to come up with some excuse to drill, saw, or cut into my mouth and I just simply tell them no lol. Thankfully I am moving abroad again in a few months so I don't have to deal with them ever again.

I have never felt so comfortable and in such good hands. From the hygienist, to Dr. William Cheng, they were absolutely excellent. Best cleaning I have had, the hygienist was extremely kind and thorough. She was meticulous about getting all the stains and any buildup out. Plus they put TV's on the ceiling so when you're getting your cleaning you can watch Netflix. It's bright and airy in there and it's across from a beautiful green lawn!
