I've taken some time to reflect before sharing my experience with this clinic, as I had hoped for a better outcome. When I first walked in, everything appeared professional, and the doctor seemed knowledgeable, which led me to trust the clinic for my treatment. Previously, I had an unpleasant experience with another company that straightened my teeth but caused issues with my bite, leaving my back teeth unable to close properly. The goal of my treatment was to fix that bite. Dr. Waldman introduced me to a new treatment using 3D-printed custom braces, which I found exciting, especially since it was priced similarly to traditional braces. However, from the start, I faced issues with the treatment. The custom bite turbos kept chipping and cracking, leading us to remove them. Later, due to nighttime teeth grinding, I severely wore down my front teeth, which the doctor did not notice until I pointed it out. He prescribed a night guard, which helped protect my teeth. I will also be adding pictures showing the state of my teeth at the start of the treatment and right after they were removed at the office, before the doctor shaved them and made them look normal, to highlight how much of my teeth had been ground down. The treatment duration ended up being much longer than expected--almost two years instead of the 14 months initially suggested. Additionally, the retainer for my upper teeth was made incorrectly, causing discomfort and misalignment in one area. Despite my concerns, the staff assured me that it was supposed to hurt, which led to one tooth becoming crocked. Fortunately, they fixed it with a new 3D-printed retainer by my demand and convincing them i'm not imagining it and it's not normal. I also have pictures showing the incorrect retainer they gave me, which caused discomfort and misalignment of front tooth, I will also include pictures of the problem itself, the difference might not be that big, but I felt and saw it. Even though the treatment was lengthy, the final results didn't fully address my concerns. My bite still didn't feel right, and after the treatment, my back 7th teeth almost had no contact. Additionally, my front upper and lower teeth were touching when they shouldn't, worsening my TMJ condition. I ultimately stopped wearing the retainer, as I didn't know what to do and didn't get any response from the doctor, my TMJ improved as a result, but my teeth shifted. I tried reaching out for assistance after completing the treatment, but I didn't receive any response. I didn't get any responses to any of my further questions and concerns after my installment plan was paid off. I will be adding all of these pictures in the hope that this helps others make a more informed decision. I hate my smile after seeing Dr. Waldman. I had braces when I was a teenager and always loved my smile. As a grownup, a few teeth shifted a little bit so I decided to do Invisalign with Dr Waldman to correct that. He also mentioned that Invisalign correction would ultimately help prevent future jaw problems. Now after doing Invisalign with Dr. Waldman, I have major jaw problems and my top and bottom teeth are too close so my front teeth are wearing down RAPIDLY. I reviewed Dr Waldman a year ago, and, after a phone call from him asking me to remove my negative post, I did....and have regretted it since. I trust and rely on Yelp reviews, both good and bad. I've struggled with Invisalign (they're not for everyone) and a changing bite for the past many years. I went to Dr Waldman asking for specifically conventional braces and told him I was not a good candidate for more Invisalign. His office is a busy factory with more chairs than I could count (nice that he's so busy). But, Dr Waldman did not hear a word I said, took very very long to get back to me with his recommendations and after all that time and investment in a consultation...he recommended...you guessed it...Invisalign. So, my take on this guy is he may be good for some people, but he doesn't listen and seems to be too busy to really care. If he gave as much thought and care to patients as he does his Yelp reviews, perhaps his bedside manner would improve. Upshot, I found a wonderful orthodontist who did conventional braces, they will be removed next week and I couldn't be happier...glad I listened to my guts and didn't stay with this office. read more

Dr. Waldman is a life-changer. When I went in for my consultation, I feared the worst because another orthodontist had told me that with my impacted teeth, there was no way to move them back into place without pulling teeth and breaking my jaw to adjust it into a new position (seriously!) I knew in my gut I had a complicated case because my bite was really bad, but I also didn't want to get braces because I was a talent agent at the time, 30 years old AND I had had braces for 4 years when I was little.. ugh. When I met with Dr. Waldman, he was incredibly caring and had no doubt in his mind he could give me the perfect smile with Invisalign and a new technique using tools he developed that would pull my teeth back into place. He gave me three options and was not pushy at all... just straight forward, confidant and encouraging of whatever choice I made. A very quick two years later (I know that sounds crazy, but looking back it went by in the blink of an eye), I have perfectly straight teeth and a bite that is completely even (I have NEVER had contact between my upper and lower jaw on my right side, I do now!). Every single person I work with in the office is incredibly kind, caring, and rooting for your success to have a smile you're proud of. I love this office. The staff is so kind and attentive, and they are very respectful of my time. In my several visits, I have never had to wait more than a few minutes before speaking to someone, and they take pictures and x-rays, as well as update my personal information, incredibly quickly and efficiently. Back in September I had my braces put on. I had what I felt was really crooked teeth and a bad cross over bite. It's been 2 months and already I see the changes. I called to arrange a consultation, they told me it's $75 for a consultation with Dr.Waldman, which, usually a first consultation is free but I was willing to pay thay because I saw some good reviews. Then they asked me if I have seen any orthodontist before, and I said yes, to which they said, "oh, as a second consultation, this will be $400!" $400????!!! What????!!! What a joke... this tells me what a bunch of scammers they are and the fact that I could never trust this place because you never know what huge future costs they might put on you if you start treatment here. I would suggest you avoid it, but if you do decide to go, just lie and tell them this is the first orthodontist. Turn the tables on these scammes. Although his services for Invisalign are on the pricier end, it's worth every single penny to choose his facility over others. Over the course of my 16 month treatment, I probably stepped into the office about 4 times? Each appointment was always on time and concise. The use of the Dental Monitoring System allowed the team to monitor my progress from home using a VR looking box designed for your mouth, lol. By having the DM app, the team signaled when to stay on the current tray or advance onto the next set of aligners- this was especially useful during the first round of closures during of pandemic because I still had access to the care I needed from the comfort of my home. Upon re-opening, the office made sure to take every safety measure possible in order to protect both patients and staff. I was here for the Invisalign consultation this week. From beginning to the end, I liked every aspect of the visit. First, I didn't have to fill out the paperwork since it was submitted online, which saved a lot of time. Second, all of the office staffs were so welcoming and friendly, which is one of the most important reasons why I want to get my Invisalign here. Although I didn't get to meet the doctor Waldman for my consultation, my assistant/coordinator delivered all of my issues to the doctor as a messenger. My daughter has a special skin condition that also affects her teeth. I was worried that I will have a hard time looking for a good Orthodontist. Dr Waldman came highly recommended by my daughters dentist. We first visited his office in Dec 2016 for our initial appointment. I was impressed by how nice and clean the office was. I was more impressed at the state of the art equipments and also impressed by how nice everyone was/is. Dr Waldman thouroughly discussed with us the process and told us that we have to wait a year to make sure that she has all her permanent teeth out. Majority of Ortho would have just taken her right there and then mostly for revenue. Today she has her braces on. This dental office deserves more than a 5 star, I will give more if it is available.
