I've taken some time to reflect before sharing my experience with this clinic, as I had hoped for a…read morebetter outcome. When I first walked in, everything appeared professional, and the doctor seemed knowledgeable, which led me to trust the clinic for my treatment. Previously, I had an unpleasant experience with another company that straightened my teeth but caused issues with my bite, leaving my back teeth unable to close properly. The goal of my treatment was to fix that bite. Dr. Waldman introduced me to a new treatment using 3D-printed custom braces, which I found exciting, especially since it was priced similarly to traditional braces. However, from the start, I faced issues with the treatment. The custom bite turbos kept chipping and cracking, leading us to remove them. Later, due to nighttime teeth grinding, I severely wore down my front teeth, which the doctor did not notice until I pointed it out. He prescribed a night guard, which helped protect my teeth. I will also be adding pictures showing the state of my teeth at the start of the treatment and right after they were removed at the office, before the doctor shaved them and made them look normal, to highlight how much of my teeth had been ground down. The treatment duration ended up being much longer than expected--almost two years instead of the 14 months initially suggested. Additionally, the retainer for my upper teeth was made incorrectly, causing discomfort and misalignment in one area. Despite my concerns, the staff assured me that it was supposed to hurt, which led to one tooth becoming crocked. Fortunately, they fixed it with a new 3D-printed retainer by my demand and convincing them i'm not imagining it and it's not normal. I also have pictures showing the incorrect retainer they gave me, which caused discomfort and misalignment of front tooth, I will also include pictures of the problem itself, the difference might not be that big, but I felt and saw it. Even though the treatment was lengthy, the final results didn't fully address my concerns. My bite still didn't feel right, and after the treatment, my back 7th teeth almost had no contact. Additionally, my front upper and lower teeth were touching when they shouldn't, worsening my TMJ condition. I ultimately stopped wearing the retainer, as I didn't know what to do and didn't get any response from the doctor, my TMJ improved as a result, but my teeth shifted. I tried reaching out for assistance after completing the treatment, but I didn't receive any response. I didn't get any responses to any of my further questions and concerns after my installment plan was paid off. I will be adding all of these pictures in the hope that this helps others make a more informed decision. Every experience is unique, and I think it's important to consider all aspects when choosing a treatment plan.

They're consistently polite and professional, and they genuinely seem happy to be there. I've visited on every day of the workweek throughout my Spark braces journey, so I feel like I would have noticed if anyone had a case of the Mondays. On one occasion, members of the team even came in for me on their day off--and I didn't realize it was their day off until later. That's how gracious and professional they were. I also ask a LOT of questions, and everyone has always made me feel that they were genuinely happy to answer them. The office is modern, thoughtfully designed, and easy to navigate. Soft background music plays throughout the space, while strategically placed TVs show a curated mix of fun, relaxing visuals. There's even a Vestaboard in the waiting room, which is a big favorite of mine. The care feels personal. Dr. Lee makes a point of checking in with every patient and spending as much time with them as they need. I've often felt like the most important patient in the building, which could earn five stars on its own. I trusted her plan and was genuinely excited to start treatment. Unfortunately, the office experience afterward was deeply disappointing and unprofessional. During the consultation, the coordinator, Lindsey, told me that Wed was the last day to secure the $500 new-patient incentive and that I could call on that day to pay the deposit by phone. I was also told I would receive follow-up materials and a brief call by Monday or Tuesday. Neither happened, so I called on Tuesday. The front desk confirmed that Lindsey was handling my case, but I was never able to speak with her again after the consultation. Each time, I was told she was at lunch or had already left, and none of the promised callbacks ever came. Even without receiving the materials, I had already decided to move forward, so I called as instructed, only to learn that the office is normally closed on Wednesdays. I was not calling nonstop. I usually called once a day, and sometimes once more near closing only after a promised callback did not happen. After 3 straight days of promised callbacks that never came, I finally expressed how frustrated I was. Instead of addressing what had happened, they told me they would no longer accept me because of my "treatment expectations." Since Dr. Gao and I had already discussed those expectations, I respectfully asked for just 10-15 minutes with her to clarify the treatment plan. That request was denied, and the reason later became my "communication style." I was not asking for special treatment. I was simply trying to start treatment with a doctor I trusted while following up on commitments the office had made. Being treated as the problem after repeatedly waiting for callbacks that never came was genuinely hurtful. Their final response did not acknowledge any of the missed follow-ups or offer even a basic apology. Instead, my reaction to their communication problems became the issue. I'm attaching screenshots so people can read everything and decide for themselves. I also sincerely hope Dr. Gao sees how Lindsey and the front desk handled a patient who had been excited to begin treatment with her.
