No one measures up to Simin -- they're either not properly equipped, don't know what they're doing, or are outrageously priced. Simin offers quality and value. She's experienced and has been operating from the same location in Westwood for decades. She uses only high quality fabric strips and melted European honey wax (as well as pink wax for sensitive areas). She's very thorough, but you can also look yourself over and let her know if she missed any spots and she's always happy to go over them again; she even takes the time to tweeze hairs here and there that are too short to be waxed. As I noticed other Yelpers have already pointed out, she's very good with hygiene and maintaining her work space so her salon always feels clean. And what really seals the deal are how reasonable her prices are. Most of the times I've made the mistake of trying to get waxed elsewhere I've been (sometimes literally) sorely disappointed. On the few occasions I've had decent results, it was never good value like it is with Simin. I refer her to all my girl friends and know how loyal her clientele are because just like me they don't go to anyone else but her. So for years every time I am back in town I make sure to schedule an appointment with Simin, otherwise while I am away I try various methods of self grooming at home (even though Simin often scolds me for shaving as she can tell on my next visit when my hair is "razor cut"). It helps too that Simin is flexible with appointment times, and in the past she even accommodated me with evening appointments when needed. Lastly, Simin is very personable, taking the time to get to know you and always remembering where you left off the next time she sees you even if it's been months! She's funny, posh, & cultured. It always feels like visiting an old friend and I know she's going to take good care of me every time. **** Just a small extra piece of advice: be sure to read the street parking signs carefully because they do ticket like crazy in Westwood :P

I came in to Beverly Microblading Center in Westwood about two months ago for a lash lift/perm. I was really impressed and satisfied with my eyelashes, considering that they are very straight and I usually have a difficult time curling them. Elnaz did my lash lift and it came out pretty well. I was so happy with my eyelashes that I considered getting eyelash extensions and did so. I have had hesitations about them before because of the quality and maintenance but the way that Elnaz did them came out so superp and beautiful. They are also pretty comfortable, affordable and very durable. I actually have had a great experience with them and came back to Elnaz for my infills!! She's the bests and so is this facility. I had research for so many months and finally find Beverly Microblading Centet and academy at Los Angeles I come all the way from Tulsa Oklahoma and take two courses here they give me perfect 1:1 training lip blushing and tattoo removal courses and I got model for reach class and one free chair rental I had work done on 4 model before I leave and feel so confident I'm permanent make up artist for 15 years but my experience with this course was completely different experience I love how they teach me and they so nice and make in sure you learn everything so patient and friendly instructor. Update: I now have been to Mahsa multiple times and every time, she's done an excellent job on my eyebrows. They last way longer without a touch-up than they used to when I went to other microblading artists. I had microblading done elsewhere in Los Angeles before coming to Mahsa and I'm so happy I decided to come to her. I came all the way from NJ to get my eyebrows fixed. I was told I needed laser in other places. I contacted Elite Permanent Makeup and I send my pictures and they said they could help me, and to not get laser because I would damage the little hair I had left. I messaged them to inform my interest in micro blading. Communion was very easy as to scheduling and signing of waivers regarding the procedure. Today was the day I got it done. Zarah herself did the procedure for me. It took us almost four hours to get the job done. She was very patient and meticulous with the process to make sure that I'll be happy with the outcome. She made me very happy because she did my eyebrows the way I wanted it, not too thick and not too dark for others not to be able to recognize me. I went through the entire process without a need for numbing cream. I felt fine and as a matter of fact, I fell asleep. That's how light Zahra's hands are. In case you won't be able to handle it, a numbing cream is readily available. The salon is very bright and clean. There's a clean restroom at the end of the hall shared with other tenants. There's private parking free for two hours and a flat rate fee of $5 if you exceed the two hours. Aside from Zahra, I also got to meet Yaren and Ayjan. Very nice ladies who made sure my visit was a pleasant. They made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I instantly felt I'm in good hands. I highly recommend this place. They are both extremely talented, expertly knowledgeable and passionate about all things permanent makeup. They use only the highest caliber of products and tools. Their shop is always pristinely clean and comfortable and valet parking is convenient and fast. If you're flirting with the idea of getting permanent makeup done or needing maintenance, do not hesitate or be nervous with Daria or Kostas. They are both total ROCKSTARS at all things permanent makeup. And on a human to human level, they are just absolutely amazing people that truly love what they do and are the best at it!! They are honest business owners, fair and expertly skilled and talented at what they do and their supreme work clearly reflects their perfection to detail and their natural talent and ability to just KNOW the best shape, colour combinations and techniques to make our faces ON POINT. Daria is usually super booked but don't hesitate seeing Kostas if you can't wait. Kostas himself is also a very talented and passionate artist in his own right which far extends from his permanent makeup work as evident of his full body tattoos that are pure art!! Daria and Kostas are the epitome of a power couple on a myriad of levels and they still remain so humble, kind and just as hardworking, dedicated and passionate as when we first met them years ago. I've sent several friends to get their brows, lashes and liners done by Daria and they're all now very loyal and happy clients too and won't allow anyone but Daria touch their faces!! My girlfriend Kayla actually flies in from Miami just for Daria to do her maintenance because she won't let anyone but Daria touch her brows:) Cute little caveat~ on one of our first double dates with Daria and Kostas we were at PACÈ in Laurel Canyon, where they offer little crayons for diners to draw on the paper tablecloths and I remember Daria grabbed a crayon and second-naturedly, almost without even consciously thinking about it, began drawing eyes with different brows and arches all over the paper.. I had a horrible experience the first time i got lashes years ago so naturally, I was nervous. My lash artist was Amy & she was amazing. Amy made the experience so easy and listened to exactly what I wanted - she made the experience so comfortable and enjoyable! I felt so beautiful after my appointment and my lashes lasted SO long. Will definitely be returning

I had to darken them daily with brow pomade. I confronted her and told her i wasn't satisfied and she said come in and get them redone and I told her that I wasn't paying another 120$ so she didn't the second session for free. I am completely satisfied now she did the right the second time great color and placement. Just make sure you get the right color.
