I brought my almost 6 year old in because she was graduating and she wanted some special mom and me time. She wanted to get nails done and I knew they had kid seats. I don't go here and go to a different nail place in Cary for myself but they don't have kid seats which is why we didn't go there. We were very disappointed with this place. My daughter got the mini manicure and pedicure and I know she has small hands and toes but they aren't that small to where you only pant 3/4 of the nail. I had to show the guy several times where her nails were not full painted and ask him to fix it while we were there. Then we leave and less than 24 hours later, her nails had chipped in several places!!! I know she's a kid, but she loves her nails painted and I paint them ALL the time at home and they last for over a week and a half before chipping. And here it was less than 24 hours. My Husband took her back up there and they were going to fix them. At first the guy told her to pick a new color and he would do them all over. So my kid did then another lady that was actually going to do her nails got an attitude that she wasn't going to repaint them and only touch up the places that came off. So the guy switched with her and he did them for my daughter and Sue was very happy. Well guess what!! Again less than 24 hours later and her nails and toes chipped again. And I paint hers often and it's so much better quality than this place!! What a waste of $30. I will never bring her back here again and wish I could get my money back read more

I am confounded that to change toe polish listed on the website and the large brochures for services in the chair reflect $10 charge! Instead of reviewing and investigating you blatantly disregard and disrespectful to my face as noteworthy I am an individual with moral integrity and credibility. Here is proof including from the website. I await an official apology. Since business was sold, simple to get an appointment as many customers have gone elsewhere for reasons including owner tension and speaking non English in presence of customers is considered inappropriate and rude. Beverly nails isn't my usual nail place but I was in the area and wasn't planning on headed back to raleigh for a while as I was going on vacation. I stopped at Beverly for their convenience + hours. They open at 9:30am which some nail shops open at 10. I got there around 9:25am. They took me earlier. Mary whom I assume is one of the owners was extremely sweet. She had me pick my color and have a seat. They were also very accommodating to my 4 year and nice to him. They offered me a beverage and the male owner began to work on my nails. I got a gel manicure + my eye brows done. The gel manicure was okay! My nails weren't as smooth and I feel like they could have done another coat. Absolute worst nail experience I've ever had. I went in to have nails removed, she basically cut them down then ripped them off with another nail tip. The experience was similar to what it would be like had I just ripped them off myself at home. My nails were completely damaged afterwards but I gave the benefit of the doubt assuming there would be some rehabilitation (filing, shaping, cuticle oil - literally anything) after removing the nails. She just told me to wash my hands. I've had nails removed many times and there's always work done in a way to protect the nail as much as possible & rehabilitate them. They fit me in at 6:30 when they were closing in an hr and did a full acrylic set after removing the dip set I had on already. They were amazing and friendly and did an AMAZING job on my nails. Sigh. I'm not sure what to rate here. Beverly is a nice salon. It's clean, relaxing, and doesn't look like it's part of someone's basement or garage. While I was there some of the staff not busy with customers were cleaning the pedicure basins. I could smell the bleach. I'd give Beverly 3 or 4 stars for their obvious attention to sanitation. Are there any nail techs trained to work with a real nail other than to just cut them off and cut them off unevenly? Two stars. Not wanting to judge on only one experience, I went back again for a pedicure. Big sigh. The pedicure itself was okay. The person giving the pedicure was also good. I like that they offer a water or a soda or even a glass of wine while you get your pedicure. Nice touch with that. A word of advice to the Beverly nail and pedicure specialists speaking a non-english language: Don't assume your customers don't speak it and therefore don't understand what you say. It's bad form and bad manners to talk about your customers. You deserve a one-star for that alone. read more

I'm not a regular at getting my nails done, but I know when to recognize a quality salon that treats every customer like they were a regular.... Beverly Nails does just that! I took my MIL in to get pedicures on a Saturday morning, I had made an appointment about a week in advance. Upon arrival we were invited in and seated at our chairs, the employees were very nice and respectful throughout the services. We were offered something to drink, we both had a glass of wine. We both had pedicures and I added on a basic manicure. the place was clean, they really paid attention to cuticles/smoothing our feet, and the polish lasted about three weeks without chipping. My nail polish on my nails lasted over a week with regular polish (while doing dishes daily) before the first chip. I will go back next time I want a pedicure!! read more

This was my first visit and I would NOT recommend! To begin i was greeted as soon as I opened the door, which was good but it all went down hill from there. I received a pedicure from a very unfocused nail tech. Throughout the entire session she was looking out the door, checking on other clients and telling other employees what to do. My mom and I went to Beverly Nails yesterday for a test run before I bring my bridal party here before the big day! We each go the Deluxe Pedicure and Deluxe Manicure. I think it was about $45 per person for that. When we entered the salon, we were promptly greeted and given service. The ladies doing our pedicures offered us drinks which is a plus! I thought they were very professional and accommodating - they always wanted to make sure we were comfortable! Another plus is that they welcome groups, even kids! While my hands were in the cuticle treatment, my manicurist made a balloon animal for a couple celebrating Valentine's Day at the salon. They also have DVD players for girls getting pedicures. I am excited to bring my bridal party here! The only downside is that they do not have the best color selection, so I we will be buying our own and bringing it in (which will be good on the wedding day in case we need touch ups!) read more

I've been having my nails done and eyebrows waxed at Beverly Nails for over a year, usually every couple weeks. I've had manicures, pedicures, acrylic nails, & SNS nails. Recently, I've also started having my eyebrows waxed. My teenaged daughter has also had her nails and toenails done there. Everyone is always very welcoming and even offer drinks while your services are being completed. Mary is wonderful at acrylics and Tom is the best at SNS, though they're both excellent for either service. The ladies that do the pedicures and manicures are friendly, too. I took my 3.5 year old daughter here for her first pedicure. We ended up getting her nails done too. The little pedicure chairs are perfect and she had the best time. The nail technician who did her nails was great with her and added a design to both her toenails and fingernails for free. She is so proud of her pretty nails! They also have little DVD players set up on the kids pedicure chairs. I am due to have a baby in about a week and was dying for a pedicure myself. It was a great experience for me too. The atmosphere at Beverly Nails in Saltbox Village is just a step above the other mani/pedi providers I have experienced in Cary, and I am really glad to have found them. Shiatsu roller chairs, with add-ons to your mani/pedi that include sea salt glow, sea weed wrap, cooling gel and reflexology. You can add on a "To Go" massage meaning a neck and shoulder massage while you are having your nails done, completing the experience. This may sound odd, but I have always secretly disliked having my nails done, I don't like having to sit in one spot for that long, evidently. Adding the massage enables me to unplug for a bit, and leave with perfect nails. Oh, they will serve you a glass of wine upon request as well, which is a nice touch. read more

Very clean nail salon and friendly staff - which is the only reason why I am awarding 2 stars (note: I am in the RDU area for a few weeks to attend some classes and my mom used to come to this place a few years back when she lived in the area). I was in tonight to get a pedicure and gel nail manicure. For the pedicure, I have developed a few calluses lately from running and was looking forward to getting those cleaned up. Unfortunately as another reviewer commented, they pulled out the professional electric nail file - which was not only a little painful, but also did not do anything for my calluses. Onto the manicure - before committing to this place, I asked if they did CND Shellac manicures and I was told "yes;" however, when they started to my manicure, they pulled out a product called "Gelish" which is new to me. I requested a french manicure and ended up with uneven nails and very thick white tips without an arch underneath. Once I requested a thinner tip and more of an arch underneath, she did her best to thin it down, but unfortunately my nails still look sloppy (typically I never have the need to comment at other nail places - since they generally know how to make a perfect white tip). As for the Gelish product, we'll see how it holds up, but the final product feels a lot thinner/less smooth than Shellac. Overall, disappointing experience and I would not recommend coming here for a pedicure or a french manicure (unless you prefer a thicker white line!). read more

These guys are great! I moved to Pittsboro (about 25 minutes away) two years ago and was dissatisfied with the local places. A friend of my tried Beverly and liked it, so I gave it a try. Very clean, very prompt when I walked in. I wasn't rushed out (a 20 minute pedi is too fast for me), they took their time and I got a great food massage. The first time I went here I accidentally brushed my big toe against something as I was walking over to the drying area, and the technician insisted on fixing it at no additional charge even though it was my fault. The second time I took my daughter with me and she loved it too. This is now my pedi place! read more

Mine have always lasted at least 3 weeks, except for in the summer, when my mails grow faster. I wouldn't go to another salon. The BEST nail salon in the Triangle!! Tom used to do my nails at a different salon and each time I walked in, I hoped he would be available to do my nails! One day he just wasn't there anymore and I had no idea where he went. Then one day, I'm driving around Cary, passed by a sign that said "20% off all services" and decided to give Beverly Nails a try on Kildaire Farm Rd. I walk in, and there's Tom!! He is now the new manager at this place and his wife Mary has worked there for a few years. I couldn't believe the coincidence! Of all the nail salons in all of the Triangle and I find my fave nail artist! His wife Mary is equally as fantastic!! She knows what color I want when I walk in and is great at painting designs! Also, they crack me up, Mary has a great sense of humor. My nails always last a LONG time, the prices are great and I will NEVER go anywhere else as long as I live here! Seriously, they listen to the customer and make sure they are 100% happy with their experience. I have taken my Mom here as well and the boyfriend might try his first pedicure. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a manicure/pedicure! The manager, Kimmie, is terrible. When Kimmie found out that I only wanted the basic pedicure, her attitude changed completely. It was the quickest pedicure I have ever had. Then with my gel nails, it was a worse experience. I left there with spots all over my nails and some were filed oval and some were filed square. They ended up lasting 4 days when they usually last at least 2 weeks. When I went back and asked for my money back they said they do not refund. I ased for the phone number of the owner and they gave me a bogus number. I called later to get a correct number and they gave me a bogus number again. I would never recommend this salon to anyone as long as the manager, Kimmie, is working there. read more

I went in for a manicure and get a full acrylic set put on. To start off, the technician did NOTHING for my cuticles or natural nails. I understand I asked for acrylics so it's not that big of a deal what my natural nails look like, but all other places have at least trimmed my cuticles and all that. Here, my nails were just chopped off (down to the skin) before having acrylics applied. My nails are crooked, lumpy, smudged, and just not right. They all are different shapes (I asked for oval, not square...some are more square some are more oval), different lengths (one pinky is 1/4 inch long, the other barely extends past my finger tip), and it looks like a ten year old applied them to be honest. To top it off, the technician working on my nails was making fun of the other customers in the salon. Laughing under her breath at their comments, and muttering snide remarks to the other technicians. And when she finished my nails, she ran off to the back room to help another unfortunate customer. I will not be back. Ever. I will be calling Cameron Village Nails to see if there's anyway they can fix this horrible horrible manicure. read more

Please don't go here! Had a pedicure yesterday July 10th 2015. I have cuts on my feet and could hardly walk yesterday. My feet were dry from swimming that I had done this past week. At one point during the appt, one area started to become cracked, and hurt, so I attempted to tell the person this, she sort of understood. I have never seen a person use the "cheese grater" to take off rough skin. It was sensitive at the time but as the evening wore on it was difficult to walk, and more cuts appeared. I phoned them today, no refunds are given and the manager said I could drive there today, I live in raleigh, so she could see my feet, she said to fix them....I could talk about the language barrier as well but no need to. Very disappointed to find that the classic pedicure doesn't scrub the skin from your feet. I have never been to a nail salon that doesn't exfoliate the skin of your feet on a basic pedicure. It is $26 but if I want my skin exfoliated I have to pay $5 more. I will not be coming back here as there are SO many nail salons in Cary and do that on a basic pedicure. Bu hao. read more

This is a hard rating for me, because the salon is very clean and the employees are all very nice. But I've been several times for pedicures and gel nails, and I haven't been impressed. The employees are very skilled at painting nails, and its nice that refreshments are offered. The chairs for the pedicures are also very comfortable. The actual pedicure, however, is sort of painful. They use a professional electric nail file (the kind that spins) that is normally used to file nails and acrylics to remove calluses or dry skin on your feet, which hurts. A lot. They are also pretty aggressive with massaging exfoliating salts into your skins as if its soft lotion. But really, my main problem was the painful filing. That electric filer is not meant for your skin, its meant for hard nails. I don't plan to go back. read more
