Walked in on a Saturday afternoon for a basic manicure with clear polish and removal of my previous nail polish. They seemed busy, however, I only had to wait about a minute. The nail technician working on my nails was great. He double checked what services and polish I wanted, was clear on what he was going to do, and clear on how long and where I should let them dry. He also was friendly, skilled, and efficient. I requested that he use only clear polish and it turned out great! Only critique would be to spend a little more time filing and buffing since my nails are still rough on the edges. The basic manicures they offer are simple, quick, and cost $20. They encourage via signage that you to tip in cash if possible. They also accept visa and MasterCard, not discover. They are clear on pricing and wait times. You can make an appointment or sign in on the waitlist when you arrive. Unlike similar places, they do not offer complimentary drinks. This location is out of the way for me, however, if I am in this area in need of a manicure, I would visit this salon again! read more

I paid $65 for a pedicure and received a basic $35 pedi. I could've done a better job myself with my at home foot spa.

My friends and and I have visited a total of 5 times since the opening and I am still struggling with the review stars. I can say that the place is spic and span clean. Their grand opening sign is very misleading. 15% off Grand Opening seemed to not apply to my manicure. Nor my friends services. Hmmmm....make sure you ask if the banner is still up when you arrive. I have had two mani's and one was great (but the extra services were a little roughly delivered) The second...was done by one of the leaders or owner and she was a bit aggressive on the cuticle removal and changed my color of nail polish after I chose it. This was annoying and I didn't feel like debating it as I had a hard week and wanted to just be quiet and let the environment be a bit of pampering. Previous experience was gentle on the manicure but the add on enhancement hand massage lacked the gentle care of some practitioners. It was good, but perhaps a man would have preferred the approach instead. One of my friends did not like the services she received on another day. Another of my friends was absolutely ecstatic about her Pedicure. She has tricky toes and came away feeling wonderful. The jury is still out. But I would go back. read more

I have been here 3 times and it's been bad all 3 times. However, today completely takes the cake. I have tried it multiple times because I know my mom loves coming here. Today, I came in for a manicure. It was Saturday so I knew they would be busy but I didn't mind waiting. They completely rushed me through. I saw a woman getting a manicure soaking her nails and they were really taking their time. They never soaked my nails, barely touched my cuticles (which really needed attention). They didn't even clean under my nails. I had one guy file my nails (unevenly) and then some other guy came and "finished". Everyone was offered a drink and I never was offered. My nails look horrible and I'm completely furious. read more

Was in a hurry and was still able to get a high quality manicure. Great customer service.

Started out fairly normal nail experience but quickly took a nose dive. I got dip polish and when the gentleman finished my nails the edges were still covered in polish! I could have let a kindergartener do my nails and had better results. I politely asked if that could be fixed and he assured me it would come off after a few hand washes. Attached is a picture days later. Still all over the edges. To make matters worse they chipped after just a few days so I called to complain. I travel a lot for work and wasn't able to immediately come in. However, when I got back I went there simply wanting the colour removed for free and they charged me $10. I really don't care about the $10 but I was really dissatisfied with the way they approached the situation. read more

BAD EXPERIENCE. I wanted to give it a try after last time my gel polish started cracking a few days after and didn't last the 2 weeks most people know it takes, sometimes even longer. But today, there is this lady who is the oldest and slowest, I thought I was pretty clear with her when told her the service I wanted, and I was charged more because of the language barrier, I hear her talking english and seems she understands pretty well, I do have an accent, but NO means NO in a lot of different languages. I explained to the guy at front but made me feel bad, and like I was lying so if you decide going there, just careful with their prices, look they just want to take your money. read more

Just an update on this place! I'm finally getting around to updating my review after getting my mani and pedi here for my wedding in June. I could not have been happier with the service and attention to detail my nail tech gave me!!! My manicure and pedicure was absolutely perfect and looked amazing for our wedding day!!! Four of us were able to get in relatively last minute to do nails the day of the rehearsal. I am SO happy I got my mani and pedi done here for the wedding day!!! Phenomenal service and my color lasted through the entire honeymoon (which included 60 hours in the car, zip lining, white water rafting, and lugging suitcases around everywhere...i.e. I was really hard on my nails!). NOT worth $72 for a gel pedicure!!! I've been wanting to try this place for a while now. Heard good things. My friend and I both wanted pedicures. I opted for a $55 plus $17 extra for gel pedi. (Why gel on toes is $17 not $15 like nails when toe nails are smaller, not sure). Other than a leg mask the pedicure was no more special than a basic pedicure. I had to nearly beg him to really get into my toes (stuck sock fuzz) and after an hour I had to Ask for water!!! 2 little old ladies came in after we had been there almost an hour and were rushed water. I paid $72 for a pedicure and had to Ask for water! Sorry, I wont be coming back here. read more

Unfortunately the staff 1/2 delivers on what is promise and paid for. After paying roughly $100, my nails we're not shaped and my toes were half painted. I left salon unhappy and decided to call to express that I was not happy with my experience. The receptionist reassured me to come back tomorrow and they will fix it. Day 2 of my scar experience was a waste of my time. They gave me the same Nail Tech who was more interested in watching me shape my own nails than trying to fix the issue. I was told that I messed up my own toes when I put my feet in my shoes even though my feet were drying for over an hour while I was getting my nails done. If I could give them a zero I would. I was so disappointed in my experience. I have usually gone to pretty nails and by the same people across the street. Pretty nails was full and sent me to their sister property. I expected the same level of service. I had an incredibly slow technician. What should've taken 45 or 15 minutes took an hour and 20 minutes, after which I just got up and stopped. I didn't have anymore time to waste. I don't know whether he was just beginning or whether he was afraid to make a mistake, but several times I told him that his work was fine and we could move on and he just wouldn't stop. They should have a warning label saying that unless you have two hours to get a standard manicure don't go here. Very disappointed. read more

I had an appointment at 11:30 & it took the guy 30 minutes to acknowledge me at my chair & then went right back to someone else's nails. 40 minutes in he says be right with you. An HOUR LATER he tells me he is ready for me. I said forget it!! I waited an hour!! They are lucky I was with other people or I would have walked out & been a hell of a lot more vocal. I told them it's pathetic that I had an appointment & never even got seen. They have the worst time management & the worst customer service. I drive from Sanford to get my nails done, if that tells you anything!! "Vivi" is my girl...she is professional, personable and an exceptional nail tech..she gives me great ideas if I come in not really knowing what colors or design I want..she is a fabulous artist and gives the cutest hand painted designs! BAD!!! I do not leave reviews, but felt this was necessary. I wanted to go to a new nail place because the one I enjoy has repaired my one nail multiple times and it always continues to fall off. I get acrylic fill-in with gel. I sat down and waited for probably 15-20 minutes (I tried to be understanding, they were kind of busy). Finally a guy who had been sitting in a pedicure seat on his phone the entire time comes up and tells me to go sit down. Weird...what was he doing the whole time? So he takes at LEAST a good 15 minutes to remove my gel polish from ONE hand. Then he proceeds to tell me he can't finish and I need to go to another seat. I assume because I had a broken nail on that hand??? I sit down and the other hand also takes 15-20 minutes to remove the gel polish. The entire fill-in took OVER TWO HOURS! He rushed the end and they didn't even look finished, but I was basically pushed out of my chair to the check-out counter. 50 DOLLARS for what is normally 30-35. I'm already upset that the price is way off from online, but once I got home and looked at my nails more carefully, they were HORRIBLE. Filed weird, not painted all the way on the side. I will NEVER go here again!!!!! read more

This is a new salon by the owner across the street at Pretty Nails. I live in Chapel Hill, but was in the area and had been wanting a new set of gel nails. On a whim, I just went into Pretty Nails and saw May. She did an amazing job and my nails have lasted weeks! I never had a set be so strong and that saves me money. I'm driving all the way back just to go to her today. She has been moved over to this salon, I'll keep going to her for sure. Worth the drive. read more

This place is the absolute worst! The owner always seems to have an attitude- like you are doing her the favor by coming in. I have called to make an appointment in advance several times,and they never put us in at the same time when we get there. Who wants to get a pedicure with a friend and not get it done at the same time? Like I said. This happened a few times- not just once!!! I would not recommend coming here at all. They give excellent service here but leave plenty of time, it takes awhile. T does great work and is very meticulous. They are a little higher priced than some salons but they do good work. Pretty Nails is owned by same family and do good work as well. read more
