Gold Canyon Nail & Spa, next to Bashas, got a lovely pedicure on a Saturday morning for $35 plus tip. I had no appointment and waited 5 to 10 minutes. This was not the basic pedi price this included callous removal. I came back on a Thursday afternoon for a dipping powder fill and was very happy with this as well. Again no appointment and no wait. I will continue to go back!

I walked right I and had the most enjoyable manicure I'd had in a while. The man who did my nails was so gentle and friendly! My nails were grown out so he took the old off and put on new ones. Best shape and finish of the last 3 salons I've gone to. I will be back for sure!

Have been coming here with my mom since I moved here in Oct. Every time we came the wait got longer and service was always rushed. Today took the cake, mom & I both had a 12:30 appt, came at 12:15. Sat until 1, mom got in and I sat until 1:30. Mom got done with her fill at 1:45 then sat in the pedicure chair until 2:30 as they took walk-in pedicures before waiting on her. I got done with my fill at 2 and my pedicure was done by 2:30...Total rush job and totally disappointed. So I sat for another 30 min waiting for mom. So...my nail polish is lighter on one hand than the other, polish doesn't even cover entire nail, toes look gross, not even cleaned up or evened out. Pedicures usually make your feet feel refreshed, mine feel like they're on fire. I will NEVER return! I too am in business, this is just total greed on their part, making appointments then taking all the walk ins that leave the appointment people wait even longer and lying to customers about the wait time by sitting you in Mani/pedi chairs making you think you next. So, so DISAPPOINTED!

As others mentioned, they go by Canyon Nails now. Great prices, but major cleanliness issues. I went for a dip manicure, and the technician had not cleaned the station AT ALL before I sat down. I was expected to put my hands in a bunch of dust and someone else's nasty finger nail clippings! It was absolutely disgusting. The technician didn't seem to care at all. Naturally, they reuse the same dip containers for everyone, the Emory board used was stained from multiple uses on other people, and they don't even have you wash your hands before. Far and away the least sanitary salon I've ever been to. The manicure itself turned out fine and the paint job is good, but there was nothing resembling an actual manicure here. He did nothing to my cuticles, and I didn't even get hand lotion at the end. While the dip service (which included a gel coating at the end, so if you're trying to avoid UV, this is not the place) was cheaper than I've had before ($40), it was literally JUST polish. It goes without saying.. don't expect a drink or anything from here (but honestly, I wouldn't want to consume anything in this environment!). I'd give one star but for the fact my mom got a basic pedicure, which she said was really good and really quite affordable ($28). She didn't seem to find cleanliness issues, so maybe it's just for manicures. read more

Customer service and professional nails are the best! Jackie and Kevin are welcoming, the shop is clean and comfortable. Their VIP pedicure is heavenly, so many choices of colors and styles for nails! I have never been disappointed and now my husband goes too for a pedicure. read more

I enjoyed all the color options, but the staff were not friendly and tried multiple times to push additional services on us. They did not thank us for coming. It was reasonably priced, but a lot of the prices were so similar even though some in our group got different tiered pedicures. read more

I have been getting my gel nails refilled at Beverly / Canyon nails for 15 years. Tom, Lindsay & Ha all do a great job. I wouldn't go anywhere else, excellent service & experience time after time. They can get a bit busy during the season so you may have a short wait - appointments honored, so give them a call. read more

After going to Gold Canyon Nails, two weeks later, polish came off of my toes. I where only sandals! Also, the woman who did my pedi, cut my big toe and it bled for quite a bit. Never again. read more

Sat until 1, mom got in and I sat until 1:30. Mom got done with her fill at 1:45 then sat in the pedicure chair until 2:30 as they took walk-in pedicures before waiting on her. So extremely disappointed with the service. The employees were unresponsive and rude to us, and the nail service was average, nothing exciting. We waited for 1 hour, when the lady said it would only be a 15 minute wait. Never going back. read more

I am a full time traveler and have difficulty finding a good nail salon. This one fit the bill nicely. I soent 5 months in the area and went every 3 weeks for colored acrylic.Ask for Danny. He did excellent work and I had absolutely no problems with the outcome. They easily would last longer but I tired of the color so we changed it every 3 weeks. I recommend this salon for nail but I cannot speak to pedicures although they are very busy. read more

I came to this place at least 6 times and never disappointed! Employees always recognise me and really friendly! Prices are really affordable! Normally I do acrylic nails but this time I want it to try their pedicure, it was awesome! They spend at least 15min on each leg for massage! The classic pedi is $22 and It was 10am when I sat and 10.45am when I left . Such a relaxing moment! read more

$80 for a pedicure low level, and gel nail tips. No hand or arm massage at end of manicure. I asked to leave a tip. He said there is no space for a tip. I guess my tip was included. I have had much better service at Walmart. Do not use this facility. read more

Before moving to Gold Canyon last week, I saw my nail lady, Lily, in Northern California every 2 weeks for the past 4 years. It was the saddest to leave her and I was nervous about finding a new place. I decided to risk it and just walk in to the closest shop to my new home. Tom did a fantastic job and the selection of gel colors was absolutely amazing. I am excited to try a new color every time! Very friendly and the shop was clean and welcoming. I have been going to this business for five years and I'm pretty sure today is the last time I will…read morebe going there. The owner has been nothing but rude to me many times but the technicians have done fairly good jobs so I keep returning. Today I called for an appt and asked for a specific tech and was told he was booked the rest of the day but I could get an appointment mid afternoon with another tech and I was fine with that. When I arrived for my appt the tech who I had originally asked for came up to me and said to come back to his station and I was happy about that thinking he maybe had a cancellation. Well he made the mistake and the person he was supposed to work on didn't get him right away as he was doing my nails. The owner came up to me rudely saying that "didn't I tell you that he was booked the rest of the day?" as if I had lied when I came in and said I had an appt with him which I did not. There have been many other instances involving her rudeness to me, another which was when I called for an appointment and she booked me for 10:30 and I was not seen until after 11:30. She told me that I should not book appts in the half hour which I didn't book it, she did. Then as I was sitting there she proceeded to book other people on the half hour which made no sense to me after her blaming me for the long wait I had and I still returned to her salon on a regular basis. The techs have mostly done nice work for me so I don't want to bash them but these are only a couple of instances after so many of her rude remarks and actions towards me so I cannot justify giving her my business any longer. And I feel as though I have given no reason to be treated as she has treated me. She does not deserve my business. I will gladly drive further to a salon that will appreciate my business. Also, it is not a very clean place. They also could use a chair rail so the tech's chairs do not rub the paint off the walls.

I've never gotten so many compliments in my life. And not only was the design good, but when I was too lazy to go back to get my nails redone for a full month, they lasted without issue. All the other place I've tried in AZ, before finding this place, the nails are coming apart after a week or two. These looked brand new (minus grow out) for a full month. Now I know he didn't get polish, but he should at least get the full 35 minutes if he's paying the full price. It also says 10 minute massage, I watched the lady and it was no where 10 minutes. His lady also just sat there, didn't say a word or even acknowledge his existence. 5 stars for my person, 0 for his. We still gave her a 10.00 tip. They also had a cute Mother's Day snack bar. EDIT: about an hour after I left I felt a burning on my eyelid and noticed it had been cut and she didn't even say anything. Also noticed plenty of hairs she didn't even pluck. Guess this isn't the place to get a eyebrow wax. I'll keep coming for the pedicure though.

I love to support local businesses, and the prices were great. There are packages available, or single services. The European facial ran $65, and the 60 minute massage $60. Sold! My day began with Jean, my massage therapist. The room was clean and homey, and was the perfect temperature. Jean was amazing. She was very thorough, and made sure that the pressure was at a level that I was comfortable with. At the start, I told her that I usually don't like my lower torso and legs done, due to extreme sensitivity, and even pain. She told me that she would go very softly and give it a try, and that if it was too sensitive, I could stop. I had no sensitivity and no pain. We discussed my skin goals and sensitivities. She used all natural, quality products, and was very knowledgeable. The service was thorough and relaxing. When a product made my skin feel like it was burning, Leyna quickly worked to make it more cool and comfortable. I left with very soft, moisturized skin. I will definitely be back to A Bit of Bliss. I have been going to this business for five years and I'm pretty sure today is the last time I will…read morebe going there. The owner has been nothing but rude to me many times but the technicians have done fairly good jobs so I keep returning. Today I called for an appt and asked for a specific tech and was told he was booked the rest of the day but I could get an appointment mid afternoon with another tech and I was fine with that. When I arrived for my appt the tech who I had originally asked for came up to me and said to come back to his station and I was happy about that thinking he maybe had a cancellation. Well he made the mistake and the person he was supposed to work on didn't get him right away as he was doing my nails. The owner came up to me rudely saying that "didn't I tell you that he was booked the rest of the day?" as if I had lied when I came in and said I had an appt with him which I did not. There have been many other instances involving her rudeness to me, another which was when I called for an appointment and she booked me for 10:30 and I was not seen until after 11:30. She told me that I should not book appts in the half hour which I didn't book it, she did. Then as I was sitting there she proceeded to book other people on the half hour which made no sense to me after her blaming me for the long wait I had and I still returned to her salon on a regular basis. The techs have mostly done nice work for me so I don't want to bash them but these are only a couple of instances after so many of her rude remarks and actions towards me so I cannot justify giving her my business any longer. And I feel as though I have given no reason to be treated as she has treated me. She does not deserve my business. I will gladly drive further to a salon that will appreciate my business. Also, it is not a very clean place. They also could use a chair rail so the tech's chairs do not rub the paint off the walls.

She didn't speak much English but she asked for help when I asked for the hot towels to be removed from my legs because they were cold. She removed a ton of dead skin from my heals, gave a firm massage and my gel nails look great! Cons: We did sit on the chair for about 40 minutes waiting for our pedicures. They could have called and said they were running late. We enjoyed soaking our feet, chatting and getting a massage from the chair. Facts: we had a deluxe pedicure for $45 which included an 8 minute massage, paraffin wax, exfoliating massage, callus removal and polish. The gel was $12 extra. They want tips in cash. I would go again and I don't say that lightly. Try it out!

I wear my nails all natural and was looking to get them buffed up in preparation for my engagement…read more If you're getting acrylics this place is probably great, but despite bringing a reference photo and coming with my nails long so that they could be shaped into anything, the technician essentially butchered my nails -- fingers and toes. She didn't buff the ridges off like I asked her to multiple times and her idea of shaping was literally just cutting off the entirety of the whites on my toenails. For my fingernails, she chopped almost all of the whites off claiming she was "making them even" then cut the sides into a truncated coffin shape (coffin only looks good on long nails, and my reference photo was not a coffin shape!). She left them Jagged and Uneven, even after I asked multiple times for them to be filed down or corrected because of how insanely sharp they were. I work with children and nails that sharp could cause injuries. I could have done a way better job at home and should have saved myself the money, but I was really hoping they'd be able to do something extra perfect for my big day. Instead, my nails look like I asked an 11-year-old to just chop real quick -- anything but professional. Also: Fragments of the edges of my toenails that didn't cut cleanly were left shoved under the left and right edges of my nail bed after she tried to cut up the sides and I told her not to because that's one of the fastest ways to cause in-grown nails! Basic stuff any professional should know. I'm deeply disappointed. TL;DR: The technician I had was friendly but not professional at all. Don't come here if you want them to shape your real, human fingernails without adding acrylics or anything like that -- they'll chop them like you chop your preschooler's nails when you're rushing out the door to daycare. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience.

I usually do a backfill of acrylic on my nails, but I'm over that and wanted something less maintenance-intensive. So, I decided to transition to natural nails by going with a gel overlay and a gel polish. I'm happy with the results. The nails are shaped well, and I like the overall look. The pricing for the gel overlay was a bit high, it's not like it's a full set of acrylics but the price was as if it was. I'm not thrilled about that, but everything else went great.

Also, usually my polish lasts for a good 3 weeks, sometimes even a month but I felt like I needed a touch up by week 1.5. Overall, I appreciate the effort and friendliness, and I think with a little more attention to detail, the experience could be even better.
