6/2026 Gave this place a try on the recommendation of a fellow NY style pizza lover and dear Tri-State friend! Parking 5/5 Endless parking available in a huge shopping center lot. Atmosphere 5/5 Memories, this was traditionally decorated in the classic red and white plaid table cloths true to the NY Pizzeria tradition. The restaurant size surprised me, it was pretty big with several large and connected dining areas with a large bar. Lots of seating options from quiet conversation corner tables, booths and four or more guest tables. Towards the back seating area is the Pizzeria where the dough is traditionally tossed to size before being laid out on the flour sprinkled prep surface. Crust prep and made to order ingredients are added before being shoveled into the wood coal fired ovens. Service 3/5 Honestly underwhelming. It may have been the end of the night for the server or an off night. I ordered an Iced tea and Old fashioned to go with a lemon salad. The Pizza pick was an Italian sausage, mushroom and green pepper Pie. The Food 10/5 This was a wonderful recommendation to try NY style pizza! The Pie leaped past my previous top picks. 100% Italian Jersey Boy approved NY Style Pie! There were plenty of typical salads to choose from but the Lemon Arugula salad was something I had never tried before. It was amazing, fresh, tart flavor! I could eat this for dinner by itself as a healthy meal. My Redemption style Old Fashioned was perfectly balanced and delicious. Pizza was phenomenal. Absolutely loved the taste. We also enjoyed their Mediterranean Salad and the Bruschetta trio. My only concern is the pizza maker in front of us was tossing pizza, slapping it around his arms and the dough kept hitting the bracelets on his wrists. Not very sanitary. I would have given this place a five hadn't been for me watching him toss raw pizza dough on those bracelets. I had to convince myself that the germs were being burnt off in the hot oven. read more

Sat at the bar. It has been quite a long time since I have eaten at one of these. On this evening. We had refreshing drinks. Mojito and Hugo Spritz. For dinner we shared a salad. The small was plenty to share for two people. For the main event, we got the Don. Especially delicious on this evening. The meatballs were so tasty. What can you say except this is my all time favorite pizza , There pepperoni pizza is so good and the service has always been top notch always quick service and nice ambiance inside with the wine bottle lights and some frank sinatra playing and they have a patio if the weather is nice. We've been coming here for years and. Don't know why but the last few years they seem to not want to let you sit at a booth. I looked around and plenty of booths open but the girl exclaimed they were all reserved.. really? She said they all have reservations for 6. So your telling me that every booth in this whole place has people coming in at exactly 6. I really find that hard to believe. I told her I've never been able to make a reservation there to which she replied we don't take same day reservations. I've called many times to ask about reservations even if it was for another day and repeatedly told they don't take reservations. I had lunch here today and it's always been a good experience here. I sat at the bar and was the lone wolf at the bar. I ordered the lunch special which was a slice of pizza, a salad (I had Caesar's) and a soda for $10.99. You really can beat that these days with prices going thru the roof. Caesar salad was very fresh, and just the right amount of dressing and lettuce wasn't drowned in dressing. Grimaldi's makes some fantastic salads and I love their lemon arugula salad too. Pizza wasn't that gigantic a slice but it was bigger than a traditional slice. It was a little drier than I liked, but it worked out OK. Server was very good and very in step with checking in. She was also able to pull up my rewards number just by entering my phone number. I like Grimaldi's and definitely will come back again and again. Picked up my app order which was my birthday pizza with added toppings. The pizza was hot and fresh and ready at the stated time. Service was friendly and quick. I've never been to this location but it's pretty big! Only gripe- $4 for toppings is fine if you add an adequate amount to justify the price. Didn't hit the make. Tried out Grimaldi's Pizzeria for the first time today and it didn't disappoint. The service was on spot the second we walked on and the ambiance was great! The first server that saw us to our table asked if it was a special occasion as well as the waitress that took our order! We started with the Caprese appetizer which was full of flavor. Now I love me some grimaldis. Took my family out to treat them to pizza. There were 8 of us. We made reservations to be in the safe side. But I was very disappointed with our chicken BBQ pizza. It was burnt on the bottom. And our cheese pizza was mostly sauce very little cheese. Normally I love grimaldis but tonight was not one of those nights. And it was not a cheap evening. Have been going here at least annually since they opened after beloved Tomaso's closed down. We really enjoy the pizza, especially their "Christmas pie", marinara pie with pesto drizzled on it, something a little different but full of flavor. Prices are reasonable, good size pizzas, but the crust is so thin, 2 people can eat a pie. The place is nice inside, but got take-out this time. It's been awhile since I've been here and it just isn't as good. The salad in the lunch special was the hero of the day. The pizza just looked flopped together. The service was really lacking. Three people in our party were nearly finished before the fourth person even got their pizza. Server kept saying it was "in the oven" but I think she just forgot. Ridiculous prices for a pick-up order! $70 For a medium 16" 4-cheese pizza + pepperoni and a small 12" Don calzone! The calzone was $32. Who's ever heard of a $32 small calzone??? The pizza was sub par with soggy thin crust and small bite-size pepperoni thrown on like an after thought not even baked into the cheese, it tasted like yesterday's microwaved thin-crust pizza. The calzone tasted good but not enough for $32. There are so many better pizza places around here with much better value. This is my favorite pizza place in the valley. The pizza variety here is amazing and it's mostly thin crust. They also have delicious salads desserts and of course delicious cocktails in their fabulous menu. I love that the service is so fast and so easy to make reservations online. It's a very cute ambiance with Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin playing on the sound system. However is the weather is nice I recommend patio seating because it's a more intimate atmosphere. Came here with a group of coworkers for a holiday lunch, it was about 15 people. The service was great, our servers were very attentive. I liked their decor very trendy. We ordered the pepperoni hot honey, the big Don, regular peperoni and a Prosciutto Arugula Pizza. The arugala pizza was too salty for my taste but it's probably the prosciutto, others in my group liked it. Food is always great. I got pizza again. The folks at the front were great on the phone and very prompt when I came in to pick it up. The wait time was ambiguous. The app said 20-30 minutes, and after confirmation gave any ETA that was more like 1-1/2 hours. One quick call to clarify and I was able to pick it up without any confusion. Our server Daniel I believe was watching a football game in the middle of the of the dining room our entire meal. He was leaning on the glass watching the game and clapping. I dined into Grimaldi's about a week or so ago, which had been the first time in many years, and I have to say my experience was phenomenal! The food was very fresh including their 'house made' cheesecakes which were definitely a favorite in my party. My server, Addison, was amazing! I asked her a question about the beer choices, and referred me to the Sam Adam's Summer seasonal beer, which paired great with our pizza. She checked in with us frequently and even reminded my party and I on how they now sell ranch! I will definitely be asking for her again! Overall, a great experience. read more

We went on Saturday afternoon about 2pm before they close their oven and restock with coal between 2:30 and 4pm each day. We have eaten at several Grimaldi locations and this is our favorite. The high quality ingredients and coal oven delivers a delicious pizza and the pepperoni pizza we had this time was superb. The best way to enjoy the cracker crust pizza is at the restaurant. Delivery or takeout is still good although there is a drop off in the crispness and pizza experience. The server was attentive and knowledgeable. The decor is NY with Rat Pack music playing.
