The ambiance here was amazing! It was a very cute brunch spot and they had very amazing drink options. The booths even match the theme. The service was also perfect. We were sat at a table and brought our drinks almost exactly as we got there and our order did not take too long to come out. The server checked on us to see if we needed any refills. My sister enjoyed the Big Snob and got hers with hash browns. The hash browns did not come seasoned, but all the seasonings were available at the table. This is my second time here. Both times the food quality and service are consistently great! I got the soft shell crab Benedict: the crab was nice and crispy, great flavor and not too much of the fried batter surrounds it 10/10. It comes with chopped asparagus, great seasoning and crunchy. I would get this dish again! Also tried the brisket hash: great seasoning and the brisket is tender, tastes great with the brown gravy! My first time I got the Spicy Clucker: great dish, the fried chicken was crispy, nice flavor with a kick and the meat was juicy on the inside. I started this draft a while ago, but for all of those who remember this location, it used to be BLD. It's now an expansion of the well-popular Brunch Snob that is located off Warner, west of the I-10 part of Ahwatukee/Phoenix. A lot of it inside feels the same, but it definitely has its own vibe & personality. We came in after Noon as I had some issues trying to join the waitlist via yelp, but it was no big deal as we were quickly seated. I did have to get the staff to really clean the tables, as the underneath was noticeable while trying to sit down and opted for a booth with a little extra space. Our server was very attentive and did a great job. We already knew what we wanted since we were frequent visitors of the Ahwatukee location. I went with the Spicy Clucker, their chicken and waffle combo, along with margarita mimosas, and we also ordered the Big Snob. Everything felt familiar but still fresh. We went here on a recommendation from a friend while visiting my mom. I really liked my meal (still not as good as Eggstacy down the street), but still good. Really liked their hash browns. My mom's meal on the other hand was not great (really should make this a 3-1/2 stars rating, but it is the holidays so I am in a giving mood). She had a salad (I know, terrible when you are eating breakfast). It was average at best. Tasted like a salad that you would get at a grab and go at the airport. Will I go back? One star removed because we were seated at a dirty table. Ambiance still reminds me of BLD, not a lot has changed since we were here last. Menu has lots of tempting items to choose from. Emani was our server and she was OUTSTANDING. Very personable. Quite charming. Very efficient and detailed. Folks, when your server offers suggestions, listen to them and at least consider what they have recommended. In my situation the menu does not actually describe how the entree is served, it merely lists what's included. I'd like to suggest the carafe of Mimosas if there are two or more in your parry. For the price it was a better deal than ordering individual drinks. For my meal I was torn between the Mother Clucker and the Big Ass Cinnamon Roll French Toast. Not a fan of Chicken and Waffles but the chicken thigh instead of chicken breast got my attention. Emani was helpful in the final decision, and I was so glad I went with her recommendation of getting it deconstructed. She must have read my mind. FM, Sausage Gravy does not belong on a Belgian Waffle, regardless of white or dark meat option. It was served with the option of potatoes or fresh fruit and I opted for the fruit. Strawberries, cantaloupe, blueberries, and grapes. Fresh and ripe perfection. The gravy was a bit grainy and showing signs of separation. Flavor was alright, and it had a good amount of sausage too, but I was turned off by the grainy texture. Guessing homemade and possibly too much thickener? Hubby ordered the Monte Cristo with the spicy potatoes. It looked great to me. I liked that they do it the old school way, dropping the sandwich in a fryer which allows the guts of the sandwich to really meld flavors and makes dipping less of a battle in holding sandwich together. I ordered the huevos rancheros and my friends ordered versions of different Benedict's. They have Gluten free options too. Pancakes and waffles included! I try not to order those items much anymore. I was not that impressed with my order, it was a bit much- didn't really feel authentic-but they don't claim to be a Mexican restaurant so I am not complaining. Maybe it had too many layers in it? Sometimes Simple is good. Chips, meat, sauce, cheese and a bit of salsa smothered in egg and more sauce. I think the beans would be better served on the side instead of inside and layered like av tostada. It was hot and plentiful and I did eat it. My friend got the "Eggs & Choice" ($12.99) - 2 eggs, choice of hash browns or spicy house potatoes, choice of sausage link or patty or bacon. She also added a pancake for $3.99. I ordered "The Big Snob" ($18.99) - 3 eggs, 2 sausage links or patties, 2 pieces of bacon, choice of potatoes, choice of one pancake, half waffle, or slice of French toast. The spicy house potatoes is the way to go. I chose the half waffle so we could both share and try the pancake and waffle. Both were good, but I would pick the pancake over the waffle here. My plate was missing bacon, and it took a while to find our waitress to request it. It was brought out rather quickly afterward. The bacon was good, so I'm glad I noticed and asked for it. I've been here before but never tried the chicken fried bacon. I met a friend here and we both opted to try this appetizer. On first bite it was cooked perfectly. The bacon was tender and had a nice chew not tough or too crispy. The batter was pretty cool just like what's on fried chicken. It was not super crispy but had a light crunch to it. Very flavorful. There was a sausage gravy that accompanied it. I don't usually eat gravy with dishes, but I did taste this one with the chicken fried bacon to get the full effect.
