I almost never buy or drink alcohol. I needed to buy a very specific wine for Thanksgiving...Roscato Red. I called all over to find it and even on Amazon it took me to some other site. BevMo had many in stock! They helped me find the wine. I then explored the store. They had so many drinks, both alcohol and non alcohol. I ended up buying some orange cream soda and black cherry. They have wine tastings ($$) in the back and they have their famous buy one wine get a second for 5 cent sale as well (: This is near 85C/Dollar Tree/Wendy's in the huge Costco plaza, if you need to find it. I was just there shopping for instacart. I kind of felt a little bit of hostility from the solo cashier upon entering. He was rude when I asked about the water for a customer. Once I came for checkout. I mentioned I was from instacart, but I guess he didn't hear me. Also I tried showing him something to scan, and I guess he just said "next time tell me you are from Instacart." in a rude way. I apologized and I said can you give me maybe a minute to check with my customer on the phone, then all he did was say ok done, just tell me next time without scanning my phone. So without even giving a chance to say anything else, I paid for the order, returned the cart and left. I'm unsure whether I should take anymore orders from this location, but I wasn't ok with this experience. I'd assume it's really not too late in the evening, but if you are going to give me a look and judge my appearances, just stop, seriously I'm tired of it. I get it everywhere I go. I am kinda disappointed to open my 375ML bottle of Clase Azul to find that the bottle is only half way full! I drink this often but it is usually the larger size bottle. I do not usually purchase them at BevMo but that was the only place I could get them from. The bottle is brand new and it isn't even full. I just took the plastic off. This location was really nice, well stocked, parkings excellent!, the employees were friendly & very helpful, although was surprised to see Stella Rosa (yeeees, I drink wine too..lol) was a little bit overpriced ($11.98), when you can either go to Costco @$8.99 a bottle, Food4Less (yeah not my favorite place to buy alcohol) @$8.98 on sale ofcourse and lastly the San Antonio Winery @$6 or 7 dllrs a pop......don't remember how much Total Wine & More was though..but it was cheaper than Ralph's, which is ridiculously priced regularly @$14.99 or $12.98, that is unless you buy 6 bottles for the 8.99 price..... But again here for the beer its worth it, you get a nicer selection of all beers, and like I said it was well stocked (Pasadena always seems to run out of alot of their stock fast)..... read more

I ordered at the Chino Hills Bevmo yesterday and had an encounter with one of the employees that was not pleasant. This is the second time this has happened at this store with the same person. She is the store manger and is the rudest person I have ever interacted with. None of the employees are rude besides her.I went to pick up my order yesterday and employee was helping me. She asked if I needed any help and kindly replied I was already being helped by the pick up employee. She then starts looking at my order and asking me questions "what are you picking up", "is this yours", "did he already check your id"?. Asking very rudely and I asked if she wanted me to move somewhere else and she's like not that's fine all snippy. So I'm waiting for the employee to come back wasn't even 3 minutes of me standing there and she's like "what is he helping you with?". And I reply and she replies back so rudely "we don't have those or give those out" even though I have been given brewery stickers from the other manger there without a problem. She then rips my tag off my bag and says "you're done here" and pushes the bag towards me. I have never experienced someone so rude that carries themselves with such a nasty attitude. There is no need for someone to be this nasty, let alone someone who is the face of your company. She obviously needs to be retrained in customer service and fix her attitude. I can't believe that's who Bevmo chooses to have as their store manger. I have a complaint about an employee at the Chino Hills location. I was met with horrendous customer service and even was publicly being taunted and made fun of by this same employee while he was speaking with his other associates. I do not know his name but he is the young man with the black hair styled up. In harsher terms the yuppie pretty boy who treats those he deems undesirable with extreme callousness, rudeness, and pure disrespect. It is not okay for employees to publicly laugh and make gun of customers literally right in front of them. That should be a given. I didn't realize I needed to be in full glamour mode to shop at bevmo. I was not causing any issues, was being respectful, not bothering any in the process, and this man of course makes it his goal to ban me from the establishment for no apparent reason and without explanation. I had to use the restroom and it was an extremely hot day. My air conditioning in my car had just stopped working. After a long drive I was sweating profusely, and this caused my makeup to smear and kind of get all over my face. I went into bevmo with the intention fo purchasing a beverage but just really needed to first use the restroom. When I get to the restroom I quickly realize that i urgently need to get some feminine care prpducts from my vehicle ASAP, so I quickly leave the restroom and store, grab said products, and return back again to the restroom. The yuppie elitist preen boy with black hair had already started mocking me and making fun of me in front.of other employees which I overheard. Somehow he came to the conclusion that I was intoxicated which was completely false and tells me I am banned from the store and have to leave. I just comply not wanting to waste my time trying to explain my actions to such a pompous, ignorant, close-minded and ignorant individual. I literally caused absolutely no problems what so ever so I don't quite understand the ban. Leaving and coming back perhaps might look a bit strange but it was personal and I did not want to try and explain. However, I was never asked. He just automatically assumed he was right, which is unsurprising given the obvious extreme arrogance of this preppy little elitist pretty boy. I thought I would still be able to buy a beverage even though I looked like hell. Since when did you have to be pretty to shop at Bevmo?? This is terrible customer service. Such an arrogant, judgmental, close minded individual probably isn't too suited for this type of job. Upon stepping into the alcoholic amusement park (also known as: BevMo!), we saw a wine tasting section. So this meant: Pre pre pre-game at the BM. Here are the nitty gritty details. Pretty detailed for a night of blackouts and sloppiness if you'd ask me. -We dropped $2 each and tried a flight for wine and craft beers. -You get to try a 2-3 oz. sip of all (seven or eight) wines and all (two craft beer and two cider). -If you butter up the barista, she may hook you up. In my case, it didn't work... Every time I get pregame party supplies from the BM, I always end up having an EPIC night! Or it may just be Mr. Jameson's fault; I only get Jameson at the BM. What's not to love about this place? They have every alcoholic beverage (and more, obviously) that you could ever possibly look for. We came here most recently in preparation for our Vegas trip, getting hard liquors, beers, and even party favors for on the go! I just love that there's also supplies to go along with your adult beverages that you can start your own little bar with. I hear there's a good wine tasting for about $7 that you can catch a good one from and I'm looking forward to seeing how that is. It's definitely a one-stop shop that's worth my 5 stars. read more
