I've been going to this BevMo for years. I'm a Scotch drinker and they have all my favorite brands of scotch. They have very good prices and if I find a cheaper price somewhere else they'll match it. Everyone who works there greets me when I come in. It makes me feel special. Veronica goes out of her way to make sure that I leave with the bottle I want. If it isn't on the shelf. Veronica will check and make sure they have it. If they do have it, she goes to the back and gets it for me. If they don't have it, she'll call another store that does have it. The store is always neat and clean. Everything is always located where I can find it. And whenever they have fun new items, it's always in the front where I can see it. read more

Veronica, the assistant manager here, is extremely rude and unprofessional. An elderly man told her he didn't have his glasses and was struggling to find an item, and when he asked for help, she snapped back, "It's literally right there where you're at." Later, I asked for help and even showed her a picture of what I needed. Her response? "Have you looked in the Belgium aisle?" I said I wasn't sure what that was since I don't drink, and instead of actually helping, she lectured me: "It's not about drinking or not, it's about reading the labels right there." Completely unnecessary attitude. A little patience and courtesy go a long way, but she made it clear she couldn't be bothered. read more

Today I had a bad experience at this store. I went to this location to shop for drinks for Superbowl with my wife, I had to use the restroom so I asked an employee if there was a restroom available. We've been out shopping all day and I wanted use the restroom to continue shopping comfortably. The employees' name is VERONICA to my surprised she asked if I was "planning to purchase something" obviously we were there to shop however after that comment which was really unexpected and unnecessary I was completely thrown-back that I decided to not shop there anymore, We went to Total wine instead..Veronica costed this location 128 dollars of business due to her unnecessary comment, hopefully she does better next time when a customer asks for the restroom. I went in to buy a bottle of Chocolate Shop since this is the only place who carry them. The store is almost empty and so navigating it was easy. Rachel (if that's really her name) was extremely rude to my husband. Someone needs to remind her she works in the service industry where customers should be treated with kindness and respect especially when they are asking questions politely. To be told, "I'm busy, I'll get to you when I can" when no one else is present, is rude an uncalled for. She wasn't helping anyone else. When another associate began helping my husband, she interrupted to say my husband was being impatient. HE HAD TO USE THE RESTROOM BEFORE COMPLETING HIS PURCHASE! All other employees were apologizing on her behalf and were not surprised at her behavior. Clearly, Rachel has never urgently needed the restroom. My husband NEVER gets upset. This was an urgent situation that would have taken her 30 seconds as she walked right by the bathroom while he stood there. It's heartbreaking that people treat others this way. We forgive her, but she needs sensitivity training or perhaps a desk job where she doesn't interact with humans! If you're reading this, forget total wine! The bevmo on victory and canoga is the place to be! I recently moved to the woodland hills area/warner center and I have to say not only is this location prime time, on top of they they have like a mini grocery store. It's my first time experiencing a bevmo thay has frozen goods and cutlery and snacks! Obviously we go there for the drinks, but if you want some ice cream or white castle burgers this location has it all munchies and all! On top of that, i haven't seen a location so clean and well stocked. I never see an empty shelf or anything misplaced on the floor. The music differentiates depends on who's work but it never a disappointment. The staff is very friendly and they always let me know about the current deals and new items in stock! I like the displays they chose, im a Stella Artois kind of guy and they got a dope display of it right when you walk in. Everything looks neat and tidy. Someone is always available for advice or if you need to find something specific they got you! I always enjoy my time going into this store location. I've been lucky to meet and converse with multiple staff members and i have to say they know their stuff and are on top of things. It's always clean in there and if I need any help all I have to do is holler some one will usually show up in a minute or less! So I go into this place to buy a bottle of beer. It's going to be about 5 bucks. I'm paying cash, and I am, shall we say, over 60 years old. Nummnutts clerk says he has to scan my driver's license. "Seriously? You think I'm not over 21?" "Well we have to scan everybody's license." So now somebody hacks into their system and gets my most critical personal information. Pretty chic BevMo. Holidays can be dangerous to shop during depending on the times because of the abundance of people who come here, this included Superbowl Sunday. It's not any better at any other neighboring store or locations either... don't wait until the last minute if you can avoid it. The 5 cent sale here is a staple with the franchise and the pricing isn't too crazy off with the competition expect with some red wines, tequilas, scotches and 6 and up pks of beer. I recently picked up some savory red berry driven Pinot Noir with a hint of spice on the buy one get on for five cent sale Arancio (Italian) that I quite enjoy. I was surprised I wasn't greeted or ask if I needed assistance this visit recently as I've been here many times before (where I was) and have an old history with this location. Also surprised there isn't a signature organic and/or vegan friendly wine section, presumably near the kosher wines are they are a specialty/dietary restriction, more so in the valley and in this location specifically even though I know most of the brands that are organic, vegan friendly, etc. here by heart. Can't go wrong with Famiglia Bianchi Malbec, Lalande Red Blend, Bonterra (White wines) and quite a few select others. All that said - the customer service is solid. I can't believe the last time I actually enjoyed shopping at a store. As I entered I was greeted right away with a genuine smile from an employee. I proceeded to the area of Vino tasting,man I was in heaven. I tired about 6 different wines and enjoyed all of them. I've have learned from my past,never try to shop when I'm hungry, so prior to me coming into this store I had a great meal. The employee working at the wine station was very informative and very knowledgeable when it came to different types of wines. A plus for this,knowledge is priceless. So for management in teaching your employees this, I commend you all for this. Each and every area of the store,was a employee willing to assist me in my shopping needs. I had a wonderful experience here at this Bevmo. I brought a tequila bottle from the Bevmo in Burbank but it was the wrong one so I wanted to return it. The Burbank location said I couldn't even though on the receipt it said I can as long as it's within 7 days and not open. So I came to this location to avoid arguing with the manager over there and Joshua was very helpful enough to let me return it. I called the Glendale location as well just to see if it was 1 store that doesnt allow you to return and it was. Glendale Bevmo said you can return as long as its not a big order like 20 alcohol bottles. I really appreciate that this Bevmo location let me return it since I was in the area and I got my money back. They will just need the credit card that was used to give you the refund if its within the return policy rules. I was in and out of the store within like 3 minutes since I didn't need anything else from the store. read more

The woman who was working, staff shirt and all, was too busy in a personal conversation to answer a question, but she did have the time to stop her conversation, and use the time and breath she could have simply answered my question with to tell someone else to help, which the nice gentleman did, and took all of five seconds to do so. Not bad. A pretty pricey spot, but always available when you need it. Their selection has been scarce lately due to Covid impact. I think that their space is definitely too large for their ability to fill. I no longer shop here because I refuse to have my Driver's License scanned for every purchase - there is too much ID theft to risk doing scanning my license more than absolutely necessary. I offered to let the clerk look at it as much as he wanted, without scanning, but my offer was declined. When I asked why scanning is necessary, he replied that there are "too many people using fake IDs." Given that I am, quite obviously, many decades over 21 that rationale falls flat. read more

New Year's Eve. The worst day to come here. The line is so long that you need to turn if you want to see the end of it. I collected few bottles, and when I saw how long the lines are (28 customers exactly) I just gave up since I didn't want to celebrate the new year in Bevmo line lol They have everything. Prices are reasonable. I saw some bottles cost more and some that cost leas than other places. This time was a waste, since the line was really ridiculous.
