If you're in Riviera village, and you want what BevMo has to offer, this is your place to go. Located right on PV Drive, just a block up from the big parking lot, this place is easy to find. Once inside, you'll notice that this is actually a somewhat small BevMo. Small, compared to many of the other BevMo's in the area. This isn't a criticism, this is just a fact. Meaning, whereas some of the BevMo's in the area have an amazing amount of stuff, stuff that you've never expect or really care about or want, this one is pretty precise in their offerings. Like all BevMo's, this one has a lot of wine, a lot of beer, a lot of spirits, a lot of the stuff that they are known to offer. But, it's just not quite as overwhelming full of the massive quantity, and massive selection, that some of the others location in the area offer. Just keep that in mind. To this fact, this BevMo feels kind of crowded. This is especially the case when there's several people shopping and/or they are stocking their shelves. You can feel kind of cramped in there. But, you're going in there for a reason, you get it, and you leave. In terms of parking, they have a shared parking lot along with a couple of restaurants, and the supermarket. Sometimes, this parking lot can become a little bit crowded. Again, just something to keep in mind, not a criticism. Overall, if you're in Redondo, and you want that nice bottle of wine to take to your friend's house in the evening, this may be your place to get it. read more

The absolute worst customer experience I've received to date. We walked in to purchase some wine bottles for an event & noticed that one of the miniature tequila bottles was marked "buy one get the other for $.05". I asked "KATIE" if I could get some as they were behind the register. She said "those are not on sale anymore, they just forgot to take off the tag". I politely asked if they could honor the price as it was still advertised as sale. She rolled her eyes and with the biggest attitude- she said "No"! There is a way to let a customer down easy. But this girl was so rude! I then asked to speak to a manager and she just walked away. Yes! She looked at us and walked outside. Also, there has to be a dress code to come to work. She looked like she just rolled out of bed in wrinkled boxer shorts and a tshirt. This BevMo has the lowest yelp rating. I now know why. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. read more

Love that this Bevmo is so close to my apartment and is so close to the beach. I'm always able to stock up for beach days and they have so many cold seltzer's and beers ready to go! Terrible service. They asked to ID our whole group when we walked in, all of us were 25+ but we had one person who didn't bring their ID. Usually only the person buying alcohol would get carded whenever I went to BevMo. They said it's company policy for everyone to get carded, is this a new policy?? Service is always friendly. The problem is they store their beer at room temp or even warmer. I bought a 6 pack of dogfish head 60 minute IPA off the shelf and it gave me diarrhea which has never happened with this brand before. But it has happened when purchasing non-refrigerated beer from BevMo before. They need to change this policy and be more vigilant on exp dates. They're not just your corner liquor store that sells expired beer. read more

This is a comparatively smaller BevMo! location but has good representation in selection of every category of wine, liquor, spirits, beer and non-alcoholic libations. For the area, it's good enough and convenient. The staff are friendly and welcoming Parking is easy here. read more

They were having a sale buy one get the second bottle for 5 cents so I bought 4 bottles and my total was $39. Such a deal!! They have great greeting cards to in case you need one! They tried to sell us 2-3 times the amount of alcohol we needed for our wedding. And most of the stuff we tried at the tasting wasn't very good and was definitely overpriced. The buy-one-get-one for one cent isn't actually a good deal. Oh, and the person who did our tasting never actually followed up despite saying she would send us the quotes "right away" (this is 4-5 months ago). We got a much better deal and a lot more help at Total Wine. Go there instead. read more

I went into Bev Mo to purchase a bottle of Tanqueray (1.75ML) The price marked on the shelf was $24.99 (about the same price as Sam's club) I took the bottle to the cash resister (which was hidden from sight. When I arrived at home I looked at the receipt, I was charged $29.99 for the bottle ($5.00) more than the posted price. I called the store to find out why, and was told that was the marked priced. A total lie by the manager Diane. A she was quite rude about it. I guess I learned a $5.00 lesson, buy my booze at Sam's and beware of Bev Mo. What a rip off. read more

While this is the tiniest BevMo I've ever encountered, it still has the basics for your booze fix - wine, beer, hard liquor - and a friendly staff that is happy to help you out. Kudos for having tags specifically for local brews from places like King Harbor Brewing and the Strand Brewing Co. It's nice to see a mega-chain store supporting their local craft brewers. read more

Love this location! I went in not too long before closing one night and Gabriel and Justin helped me immensely. I had to find a good bottle of wine for a work gift and didn't know where to start and they helped me pick one out within seconds. He cut me off in line. The stupid woman that worked there did not do anything about it and then she was very rude to me. I thought of what a good experience I had until I saw her. I have gone into the store multiple times since it opened. I have never encountered anything but good service. It's nice to get a second opinion when selecting a beer or wine and I haven't been let down by their input. The store is little but it's never super busy like the other locations which is a major plus. They also have sales that can be lead you to try new brands and ease your wallet too. read more

This review is quite late but I finally remembered to commend Jeff! My husband and I visited this new BevMo! the day before Thanksgiving in hopes of picking up a few bottles of wine for the holiday. When we consulted Jeff for his opinion on different wines he was so informative and friendly. I was so impressed with his knowledge as well as his patience in helping us pick the perfect bottles.
