    Poke bowl with salad

By I was hungry and I passed by this place. I ordered the small poke plate, portion was pretty big for the price! Taste pretty good if they could just give me a little bit more sauce, it will be perfect!

In broth we praise, ramen! Fresh and bouncy noodles, ooey gooey eggs, fragrant and multi dimensionally flavored broth. So very much to love. My only complaint is that the level 5 did not hold up to what I expected. I think if there are 5 levels of spice offered, then the final one should be... spicy! Definitely worth a try though, if you're more of a mild child, as the dish itself was tantalizing.

Extremely upsetting experience, I had a full hour before close and they packed my order to go without asking me. The restaurant was completely empty and I left a tip. Had to eat in my car like an animal and then they put the bento box in two separate containers. So I couldn't even eat it properly. I don't know if I ever will return after such an unwelcoming exchange but I know I will never tip again if I do.

Huge portion- everything tasted fresh. Got a poke bowl with rice and lettuce, and it came with a good amount of both. The pineapple and fish were both in big chunks.

What a fun random find! We drove up to the grocery store for lunch to go and saw the sign for this Ramen joint and knew since it was small and next to a grocery store it had to be good. (Don't ask about our logic, we know it doesn't make sense). But hey, we were right! Service was quick, foot was hot, perfect amount of spice (I chose a level 3) and not too salty. Also love that we got a carafe of water right off the bat. A hidden gem!

Food was tasty and order arrived on time and correct. Spice level of 3 was as advertised- had a kick but not overpowering. Only negative : NO chopsticks or utensils provided for our $60 worth of food - unacceptable!

    Shoyu Ramen

food was amazing! The shoyu ramen was the perfect temperature and the egg was nice and flavor was exquisite.

    Chashu Ramen

The ramen bowl was absolutely delicious! The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and all the toppings came together really well. Definitely a comforting and satisfying meal--I'd happily order it again!

I have only tried the poke bowls here, not the ramen - but I came here a couple of times this past year and each time the food, service, and experience was great! The poke bowl was generous and is a lot bigger than what other poke places offer for similar pricing! They give you a decent amount of proteins/toppings and don't skim on anything! Considering this location as my top 3 favorite poke places in LA to go to whenever I am craving a bowl!

I ordered Unagi Bowl and beef udon noodle soup here, and they were incredibly delicious! The restaurant is really clean, and the service attitude is also very nice. I'll definitely come back next time!

    Black Garlic Ramen. Delicious!
    Pillar T.

I have been to this place many times for Poke bowls. Everything is always fresh and delicious. I recently decided to try the black garlic ramen and it was phenomenal! I don't know what they did to the pork belly but it is melt in your mouth tender with a sweet gelatinous finish. Also, kudos for having a takeout container with built in separation for the wet and dry ingredients. Definitely will try more items off the menu.

    Tonkotsu Ramen

Not an area I find myself in often but I'd come over this way for ramen and gyoza again. Everyone there working was chill even though I walked in like 15min before close. Good spot.

    Small Poke Bowl

Not as authentic as other poke spots in the South Bay, but you know what? Still tasty! You make your own bowls so if it sucks, that's on you lol The portions are huge by the way. I got the smallest bowl and was surprised at how much food I got. I love the protein options they had here. I live down the street now and will be coming here after work for a quick poke meal.

Amazing the meat melts in your mouth the flavors definitely will come back again when I'm out visiting!

The food was actually quite good. We both had a bowl of the Black Devil ramen at a spice level of 4. I was worried that this would be too much but it was actually a very manageable level of spice. The type of spice where I can still enjoy my food and not have to worry about eating it through hiccups or anything like that. I also had a side of the spicy katsu cutlet, which I also enjoyed very much. They brought me one big piece of chicken katsu and some scissors to cut it up, which I thought was neat. But every bite I had was wonderful, as it was clearly fried to perfection. The service was also on point and our server even let us try some of their devil sauce ( I do not remember if this was what it was called but it sure was spicy). A few drops of this in my bowl of ramen and I began to sweat profusely. She said barely anyone ever orders it and I can totally see why haha. She was also super nice to us and overall provided some excellent service, I did not quite catch her name. The interior of this place also feels quite small, but it is well ventilated. Just be mindful if you get up and walk around because there are people eating to your left and right.

We stayed in K-Town this time so it was a bit of a drive but I didn't care! We went there for lunch buuuut!!! When we arrived, the restaurant looked very dark inside. One of the workers was outside cleaning the windows so we approached her and found out that the power was out. She said they had no idea when it would be back on. I was like, "Noooooo!!!" I had waited an entire year to have their ramen again! We stayed in Torrance for a while, hoping the power would come back but it didn't look like it would be restored in time for lunch so we decided to try again for dinner instead. We stayed in Torrance a little longer because we really didn't want to drive all the way back to K-Town and then drive down again. We went back right when they opened for dinner, hoping the power was back... and it WAS!!! I had originally planned to get the Chashu Ramen but since our lunch had been delayed, I knew I wouldn't be able to finish it. So I ordered the same one I had last year, the Kitakata Ramen. The broth tasted just as good as I remembered! Unfortunately, though, the chashu was a little tough this time. I remembered it being that melt-in-your-mouth kind of tender so I was a little disappointed. (Maybe it was because of the power outage? ) But everything else was excellent! We'll be back in LA for our son's graduation in May next year so hopefully we'll get another chance to visit Ban Nai. And hopefully with no power outage!
