Finally tried this place after hearing such good things from coworkers and friends. It definitely lived up to the hype and more! I went on a weekday morning. It's located in a strip mall on PCH near the Dodgers mural. There was a pretty steady flow of traffic but the line moves quickly. You can look at all their pastries and tarts on display while you wait. There isn't much of an interior to sit. I tried the green apple tart, fruit tart, cream puff, and white chocolate strawberry cake. Everything was delicious, and surprisingly awesome for being totally gluten free. My favorites are the tarts, with the crust being the standout. The cake was extremely light as if eating a cloud. I will definitely be coming back. There's so much more on the menu to try out, including drinks and breakfast sandwiches, there's no doubt I will be getting another dessert to go along with it.

Wonderful gluten-free bakery! They had so many options to choose from that my husband and I ended up getting a little bit of everything. We enjoyed everything so much that we went back a couple days later. I just wish they heated their pastries more. The "heated" pizza pastry and ham and cheese croissant we got were lukewarm.

Kirari West is a family-owned Japanese gluten-free bakery located in Redondo Beach. Currently, Kirari West has another location in Portland and a sister bakery called Confections by Kirari West in Redondo Beach. [Parking]: Easy and free plaza parking. I have never had an issue finding a spot when I come here on either weekends or weekdays. [Atmosphere]: There's a Dodgers mural with Shohei and Kobe in Dodgers uniforms just outside of the shop. The bakery can get slightly busy on weekends, but on weekdays this place is pretty empty. There's an outdoor bench and a small patio area. [Menu]: Yelp's top highlighted items include the Almond Brioche, Breakfast Sandwich (Egg Melt), and French/Avocado Toast. They also have a sign next to the menu listing the sources of their ingredients including coffee from City Bean Roasters. *** Almond brioche ($5.95): It was a bit cold but tasted really good - it had the right amount of molasses. Breakfast Sandwich (Egg Melt - Bacon Chipotle, over-medium for egg - $13.15): A bit expensive for a small breakfast sandwich, but it tasted surprisingly good. The bun was warm and the bacon was nicely cooked. *** A solid 4.5-star on food, but bump down on somewhat hefty price.

Ambiance: it's a popular bakery store located in Redondo beach, shared parking lot with other merchants in the same plaza. It's quite packed inside with a few tables, and outdoor seating is limited too Service: friendly but slow and disorganized, the lines for ordering and picking up are mixed up Food & Drink: classic and seasonal for bakery stuff, limited choices for coffee Farmhouse Chocolate Cake - **** Chocolate Mousse, Chocolate Spange Cake, Ganache, a rustic, indulgent delight made with rich cocoa and wholesome, homestyle charm, beautiful layers, creamy and smooth texture, recommend Latte - *** plain and watery taste Price: decent quality overall and worth the price, expect $15 per order

My friend surprised me with a gluten free fruit tart cake from this bakery. You can't even tell it's gluten free it's so good. The seasonal fresh fruit was sweet & delicious, it had blueberries, strawberries and mango, all my favorites. The crust was crisp, buttery and sweet, it went very well with the fruit. This was the best gluten free fruit tart I've ever had! I can't wait to visit this bakery the next time I'm in the area.

This bakery offers gluten free items, I haven't seen many places do that so that's awesome. We ordered two sandwiches and a slice to cake to share. The sandwiches took awhile to make because they mixed up our order. They were nice about it and offered us two additional pastries. There was a constant flow of customers on a Sunday afternoon, but never really a long line. There's indoor and outdoor seating. ig: @cravingswithcat

The bakery is quite a drive for me, but I got a chance to try their chocolate brioche at the Hollywood Farmers Market and it was such a wonderful surprise. Good gluten-free options that actually taste great are hard to come by, so I was really impressed. The brioche was rich and perfectly dense, with just the right touch of chocolate -- flavorful without being too sweet or overwhelming. I hope to visit their bakery location someday!

Cinnamon bun, chocolate brioche, fruit tart! The best!!!

A gluten free girl's dream come true!!! You will want to try everything and everything tastes just as good at it looks. My son and I are both gluten free and this place is literally unbelievable. He was so worried we were eating gluten bc it is THAT GOOD! We had the fruit tart, strawberry white cake, donut of the day, cookie of the day, cinnamon buns, chocolate brioche, my husband got a turkey pesto sandwich that he loved and he isn't gluten free but said it tasted just as good! Go hungry and bring a cooler lol you will want it all! We will be back whenever we visit California!! Thank you for all these unbelievably delicious gluten free treats!

Had another pleasant visit to this bakery. They now have a sister store called Confections nearby and I need to visit there too sometime soon. The almond brioche looked kind of flat compared to the pictures I had before but the tasted great anyway. Had to run out really quickly so couldn't get the drinks this time but I saw a few teenagers having breakfast there too. Always recommend this place to anyone that loves baked goods but also don't want to feel bloated from all the gluten. I hope they even open another shop in Torrance so I can come here more often!

The Blueberry Lemon Baked Donut was delicious. It was light, with a soft texture. The glaze was sweet and tart, not too heavy, but a perfect compliment to the donut. I also got a Dense Brown Sugar Drip Coffee. It had a rich robust flavor with Brown Sugar notes. I will definitely be having another soon. Also going back to try more of those delicious baked goods! The esthetics were beautiful with the dark wood giving a rustic, yet welcoming environment. There is seating both inside and out. A really nice place.

I love coming here. I first discovered it when I had a friend with celiac disease visit and wanted to find something gluten free. Many years later, still coming back. I love the avocado toast and get eggs with it but today I got the turkey avocado.

Unlike the newer Confections by Kirari West, the 'older sister' Kirari West bakery was consistently packed throughout the day. It seemed to be popular spot for hangouts as you could spot most of the guests came in a group. Not only the bakery, the kitchen seemed to be pretty busy as well with people ordering dishes from their made-to-order menu. Worry not about the line as it moved pretty quick. Their bakery did offer plenty of options from pastries, bread/brioche, as well as cakes. A lot of people seemed to talk about their brioche, so obviously right one to try as first timer. The cinnamon one was pretty decent, but might taste better when being reheated to get the nicely warm and fluffy brioche. Their Custard Puff was lovely light bite serving airy chiffon cake stuffed with not overly sweet custard cream. It was such great representation on something simple yet memorable. I could easily see it being nice companion for afternoon coffee/tea.
