I was having difficulty finding it in the stores and the on-line option was much more expensive, along with delivery costs. Located it here at the Ventura store! I love the Ventura BevMo! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. What I'm looking for is always easy to find, and if I need help, the employees help me quickly! Recently an employee suggested a new cocktail to me: a limoncello spritz! The ingredients were reasonably priced. It was very delicious. The store plays nice music inside, and it's nice to hear the happy laughter of the other patrons. I will come back every time I need a holiday gift for a friend or for party supplies! read more

BevMo! is where I get all my non-alcoholic spirits like Seedlip to mix with flavored sparkling water, dehydrated citrus slices (orange, lemon, or lime), and ice. Although I still get carded with my ID checked for non-alcoholic spirits at this store, I look forward to crafting my mocktails. It's worth it. read more

See mo, drink mo, BevMo! Nice BevMo location in Ventura. They have a great selection of drinks and any type of mixing supplies. Their beer selection used to be better, but they still have a good selection of international beers, including Hoegaarden one of my all time favorites! They also carry Tsing Tao, Asahi, and Hofbrau Original. Their location has always been clean and organized and their prices are reasonable. I wish their beer selection would be extended to include more variety, but overall it's a great spot to pick some brewskis! read more

She was so helpful and had her guys check in the back AND called up Camarillo's store to see if they had it (which they did!). Not impressed. First time here. And my last. Saw total of 3 employees. One at register ringing up customers. 2nd employee was guy behind the cigar counter. I only saw him on the phone while the line to check out was at least 4 customers deep. He did nothing to help customers. 3rd was a young blonde trying to count money in her register. She was nice enough, tried to help me, but said she had to count her register and would get the cigar guy to help me with my questions. Yeah. That never happened. Very good. My husband, Johnny, checked out the Gin prices. I asked him if he found anything. He said No. So I asked Kyle. Kyle recommended Boodles. Kyle said that it was the 5th best Gin in the World. It was a small bottle for under $20. We will try it, perhaps on our next visit. I asked Kyle about price matching. I explained that Gran Marnier was $10 less next door at Trader Joe's. He said BevMo price matches any store. Woo Hoo. Kyle... We were impressed with you. I am going to give BevMo my liquor business. I am upgrading my review to 4 stars. After a few more visits, I suspect that you will earn 5 stars. As we were following Kyle to the cashier, we were offered a free sample of X Rated, a liqueur with French Vodka. We said YES (smiling). She served us the non-alcoholic version. If I can do zero I would. Do not promote delivery when you can't. Placed an order, got ignored, zero confirmation of the order. Order was at 6pm for 9pm delivery. Called at 9:30 to find out what was going on. Got a "we're putting it together now" answer. Told it would be out by 10. Called back at 10:30, (after close-good for them) and was told it wasn't picked up. That was it. Can't cancel on the website. But eventually at 10:30, my hero at BevMo (who didn't care if I got my order) canceled the order. I'll never try this again. read more

As a resident of Vegas I truly miss BevMo. They are the best Wine and Liquor store I have ever been in. Great selection and great prices. I still get their emails with coupons on both liquor and wine. Their $.05 wine sales are to die for and I miss them dearly. The store is an adult candy store with all the goodies you could ever imagine. The staff was very helpful in finding my favorite scotch. They also went to the back to grab me a box so I could safely take back my goodies to the BevMo-less Vegas. The beer and wine selection is enviable and I always find something new to try. Living in Humboldt County for 8 years spoiled me on quality Ales. I'm delighted to find that this new BevMo in Ventura carries a few of my old favorites from behind the Redwood Curtain, as well as some Bay Area & Oregon faves, and a few interesting imports. The prices are about average, but it's just so nice to see brews from Mad River, Lagunitas, and Lost Coast without having to drive 6-12 hours. I agree with Jeff H. that they could do a lot better. I briefly perused their selection of spirits and it appears they have a fine selection of liquor, including lots of stuff you don't see at Ralph's or the other corporate supermarkets. I checked prices on a few select faves and they were quite competitive. I remember when they were first considering this location, and community members spoke out against BevMo, citing its proximity to schools as a concern for increased crime. On my last visit, they helped me find a specific bitters I was looking for. Who knew there were 10 different types of bitters and they had them all? Bloody Mary mix-Not just Mr Ts but 15 different brands. I finally settled on the 5 chili peppers hoping for maximum spice. They wouldn't sell a soda to an 18 years old. I wasn't buying anything they was alcohol, The cashier was Ashlyn. She called her manger to talk to me about me buying a soda that doesn't have any alcohol. She said "you are not allow to even come into the store if you are not 21. Ive bought so many sodas on my break for work there, This is the first time I had this happen. Not only were they rude they were disrespectful to me. I came in here looking to buy a small bottle of a liquor I had purchased at another store. When I was unable to find it (the selection of small bottles here is not great) an employee came over to help me and when I explained what I wanted she very expertly gave me her recommendations and I left with a full size bottle that I'm very happy with. I was very pleased with the help, the products available (though as I said they could use more variety in the little bottles) and the overall convenience of the store. It's located in the back of the Pacific View mall and there's plenty of parking. The store is clean and well lit and the aisles are wide. I've been here a few times and never had a problem with any employees giving attitude. Everyone has been polite and professional to me. read more

The selection may be overwhelming, but intelligent employees are always there to help; and these employees go the extra mile in proving customer service. I especially would like to attribute this high scoring yelp review to the BevMo employee, Jen, as Jen has provided the most amount of exceptional assistance to my family and me. Jen is knowledgeable about every aspect of goods and employees residing in the store and intelligent about average customer feelings towards specific liquors sold in the store. Jen is always moving. When sale items may be out of stock, Jen is willing to order the items for you at the sale price and call you when they arrive at their store. Jen even does this over the phone. Jen has been able to make combine BevMo storewide sale prices with BevMo member benefit deals, making some liquors half the cost! So, Jen has made my experience at BevMo the best at store 131. Ordered an alcoholic beverage online for a friend and upon delivery, the recipient was not home. After calling to follow up, it was clear this had never happened before. The third-party, Door Dash, delivered the product and the driver never returned the bottle. In the end, I as the customer had to re-order the product, contact the third party to ultimately get the product re-delivered. Btw I tipped the driver and did not get refunded. I appreciate the help of the BevMo staff but there wasn't much they could do seeing as it was a third party. Just a recommendation: Third-party companies are a direct reflection of the business. Choose wisely and please handle issues internal to the business without asking the customer to handle it. read more

Called store for a product and was told they had it. I said, I am on my way right now. Made the 30 minute drive to the store and was told they didn't have the item in stock. The employee that answered the phone said they had gotten them in earlier that week and she just assumed they still had them in stock so she didn't bother to check when I called. Contacted corporate to attempt to get said item at my closer Bevmo in Camarillo and there was no response. I can get most of the things I buy here at Costco or Whole Foods, that will be my play in the future. read more
