They have a limited menu on a board. Ordered chicken salad, no chicken salad, ordered "Grilled chicken sandwich with spinach and balsamic dressing", no spinach. But the worst sandwich I have ever eaten. THE CHICKEN WAS NOT GRILLED BUT WARMED UP FROZEN FRIED CHICKEN FINGERS ON A BUN. Never again.

For me, the Tewksbury Inn ranks top in this area for upscale dining experiences, especially ones that I can bring my parents along to. There are parks, farms, and fields about a mile in each direction, so it's very nice to spend time exploring after your meal. The restaurant itself is very pretty inside. There are two rustic but well-kept dining spaces downstairs and a beautiful dining patio outside. The menu has a wide array of traditional American fare. I've tried half of the menu at this point and each item is unique and done quite well. A few favorites of the family are the Caesar salad, the salmon pita wrap, the Mahi Mahi tacos, and the onion rings. This visit I got a special, the Philly Cheesesteak, and it was phenomenal. Instead of shredded beef, they used juicy chunks of tender beef, with melted cheese, onion, pepper, and horseradish sauce all piled on top of a fresh, charred bun. This came with a choice of sides: potato salad, fruit salad, French fries, or their classic onion rings. The service here is always top notch. Some of my old classmates from elementary school still live in the area and work at the Inn, and it's fun to check in and see how everyone is doing. Now, charge whatever you want if people are okay paying it, but the "pint" clearly wasn't really a pint. Truth in advertising still matters. The "pint" paper container actually holds about a cup of ice cream. We know this because I saved the container, brought it home, and measured its volume. One measuring cup of water (8 oz.) filled the container pretty close to full, about half an inch from the top. You have a lovely shop and I wish you much success. At the same time, please stop telling customers that they're buying a "pint" of ice cream when they're really buying about a cup of ice cream. Label it something else, "Standard," "Regular," "Large" (compared to the pops), or whatever. Calling something a pint when it clearly isn't only hurts your credibility as a proprietor and sullies the customer experience. Thank you.
