    Breakfast sandwich
    Ernst W.

Just enjoyed a thoroughly delicious breakfast/lunch with wonderful food from Chef/owner Sam. Professional, cheerful service and great coffee. Crazy good smoked brisket/pastrami breakfast sandwich was epic. Btw, smoker was going out on patio this frigid day, which began the seduction before entry :) Dessert was on site baked croissant, And cinnamon rolls. All were best in class :) Our area is kind of a quality food desert.... Sam has made Oldwick Market a shimmering oasis of ambrosial food! Thank you. I will be back asap

I absolutely love the new look with the original wood beams, but even more importantly, the food is fantastic!

For me, the Tewksbury Inn ranks top in this area for upscale dining experiences, especially ones that I can bring my parents along to. The Inn is nestled in the heart of Oldwick, and the surrounding town is gorgeous and full of old historical buildings and houses (I used to trick-or-treat here as a kid). There are parks, farms, and fields about a mile in each direction, so it's very nice to spend time exploring after your meal. The restaurant itself is very pretty inside. There are two rustic but well-kept dining spaces downstairs and a beautiful dining patio outside. The menu has a wide array of traditional American fare. I've tried half of the menu at this point and each item is unique and done quite well. A few favorites of the family are the Caesar salad, the salmon pita wrap, the Mahi Mahi tacos, and the onion rings. This visit I got a special, the Philly Cheesesteak, and it was phenomenal. Instead of shredded beef, they used juicy chunks of tender beef, with melted cheese, onion, pepper, and horseradish sauce all piled on top of a fresh, charred bun. This came with a choice of sides: potato salad, fruit salad, French fries, or their classic onion rings. The service here is always top notch. Some of my old classmates from elementary school still live in the area and work at the Inn, and it's fun to check in and see how everyone is doing. There servers are always willing to help you with your order and the food always comes quickly. Overall, if you're looking for a solid meal on a beautiful day, this is the place!

This popular cafe is located right in the heart of Basking Ridge. It's small inside but there's outdoor seating also. We had a half hour wait for a table inside. The place has a very cozy feel to it and everyone we met who worked here was very friendly. I started my meal with a Vanilla Chai Latte and my wife had a Macha Latte. My wife ordered the Blintzes with blueberries and I had the Paris Morning breakfast. We both loved the food! My dish came with 2 potato pancakes, 2 poached eggs, and smoked salmon. Just delicious! A cool bit of trivia is that Paul McCartney and his wife stopped in here a few years ago. We didn't see Paul today, but we did enjoy the experience!

It was very busy yesterday around 11:30 am. When we finally got seated, the place did not disappoint. We first ordered macchiato, cappuccino, and lemonade, the coffee was strong and great! We ordered two American breakfast and Warsaw breakfast. One of the American was scrambled eggs and the other was egg over medium. The sausage was very tasty. It was not salty and the bacon was a little thick, and it was also not your typical salty bacon. The sausage was delicious and the bacon was nice and crunchy. The side potatoes were so delicious with onions and peppers. I finished all of mine. It was perfectly seasoned and not salty so eating this brunch was such a joy. The side roll was also delicious with butter. It looked like a sesame and wheat roll. It made it even so more enjoyable. The Warsaw breakfast was on a very hot small iron skillet. The Kabasa was delicious and it was typical on the salty side. The breakfast potato was delicious with the Warsaw breakfast, it had small cherry tomatoes with the potatoes. We also ordered two side pancakes. The pancakes were not as fluffy, but it was very good. It was on the expensive side for one pancake. It was around five dollars. Overall this breakfast restaurant was awesome. Small with a lot of character inside. The service was quick and on point.

Once you enter through the store, there is a sign to wait to be seated. The place has a nice and bright rustic vibe to it. I really liked the decor and table setup. Even the napkins had a rustic vibe. Started off with the potato scoop ($16) which was my fave item. The potato was shaped like the Fritos scoop chip, and the cheese dip that came with it had chunks of cheese in a melted cheese sauce. For my main, got the pulled pork sandwich ($16), which came in a pretzel knot bun and creamy slaw. It was solid meal and very filling. Other mains ordered were the roast beef "pho" style sandwich ($16) which I had a bite of and it was good and not what I expected thinking roast beef. Roast turkey ($16) was warm and also tasty. Each of the mains came with a side of potato salad. I will be back to try the sloppy Joe and their dinner meals. I highly recommend this place if you want tasty, high quality meal for a fair price. * Highly recommend making reservations on weekends * Street parking * Good service

Summertime is a great…read moreseason to explore places far and away especially rest for great food. ‍ As I was searching for farms and produce stands, I noticed this business and since I love pancakes here, there and everywhere, I planned a day away that included farm stands, backroad NJ scenic driving and fruity pancakes. Due to circumstances beyond my control, we arrived at noon on Thursday, breakfast ended at 11am and so we pivoted to lunch items that included a Boars Head cheesesteak, chips and pickle plus a really tasty cheeseburger . As we were leaving, my husband decided on a large chocolate peanut butter milkshake which he deemed awesome. (Thanks Todd for stepping in and making one) We stopped at our pre planned list of farm stands and headed home. Very next day, Friday, up at dawn to get a few chores out of the way so we could head out to Gronsky's for the day #2 breakfast deadline! I prefer sitting at the counter and watching their magician, Tyler, assemble the food for orders, crack open the eggs, drop the pancake batter in the proper corner and keep all meats aligned for the plates. He's the king of that kitchen and each one of those servers is the queen doing the hustle, bustle, slide to the left, back up and move forward like square dancers on the move. From the Taylor ham, provolone and fried egg sandwich on that FRESH Kaiser roll to the omelette with those delicious home fries and my PEACH PANCAKE . . . . all of it was their special take on breakfast served their way. Almost 50 years, folks! Prices are absolutely reasonable for how the food is prepared and presented, quality ingredients cooked according to diners' specifications. What more can you ask for? We'll be back for September POTM!!

It was very busy when we got there, but they had three employees working between the walk-up window and the inside counter, so the line kept moving. Even with the crowd, the staff did a good job keeping up with the orders and everything moved along efficiently. If you're looking for a classic spot to grab some ice cream on a warm evening, Gronsky's is definitely worth a stop.
