I fell for the TikTok hype and dragged my friends here since we were visiting the town. We walked in and was semi greeted. As we looked at the flavors available, I asked if we could sample the flavors and the lady told me only 2 samples. Now look, if y'all were busy, I'd get it but we were the ONLY people in the store but whatever. I asked her what her favorites were and went ahead and sampled her favorites. I liked one and went with it, easy peasy. Another guy came to help and at this time I noticed that they had a loyalty punch card, that wasn't offered to us. When I asked about it, I was ignored, but as we were buying 4 scoops, I asked again and he punched one hole. I handed it back to him and explained that we each got a scoop (by the way, a small is almost $5) so I needed him to punch a few more. We found a table outside (note, there is some seating inside) and ate our ice cream. Overall consensus is it was good, however it was out of the way for us, so most of us won't be coming back and it was pricey. Also, y'all got to work on customer service so folks feel that it's worth making the out of way trip to come back and it's worth the price.

My first time here. It's a cute little shop and they have outside seating. I liked the concept but noticed they didn't have a whole lot of flavors. I guess that is why they only let you have no more than 2 samples. I sampled key lime flavored ice cream but after I tried the pecan pie I was sold. Now I only bought the small cup so maybe that is why I didn't taste a lot of alcohol. They have larger sizes but the smallest was just under $5 and I didn't want to pay a whole lot for ice cream. The staff was nice and we learned that they had a rewards program but I don't live in New Braunfels I don't know when I'll be back but glad to say I got to try it. It was good ice cream just don't know how tipsy I would really get.

Came here last month while staying in New Braunfels. It's a cute place and great concept. We got a total of 4 flavors and they were all great! The amount of flavors is limited but you can definitely find something for the whole family. I took off one star because they did not have great customer service. We weren't greeted, the cashier looked annoyed/unapproachable and they were keeping the communication to a minimum.

Tipsy Cow is great! The ice cream here at Tipsy Cow is so so good. I love the boozy options if that's your thing, but they have a plethora of normal and dairy free options as well. I got the blackberry cheesecake (so so so good) with the big chunks of cheesecake was amazing. The red velvet Oreo was also amazing. Did not taste chalky or very fake like other red velvet flavors have. Can't wait to come again when I pass through NB!

This ice cream shop boasts flavors for adults and kids alike. There are even two different boards of flavors. Of course, I had to ask which were gluten-free and there weren't many flavors outside of chocolate, vanilla, etc that were. The staff was nice about it though. They found a handout that had the safe flavors. I did opt to have the dairy-free dole whip pineapple dessert. It was really good and we got the large size, though you'd probably be good with the medium size because they stack their cups tall with ice cream, unlike some chain stores. The store is small and the sitting area is a long narrow passageway which was a bit odd but work with what you have. I just wish the artwork on the walls wasn't AI. That was disappointing.

Upon walking in you are greeted by wonderful staff. The young guy was polite and patient while we browsed the many options of ice cream. The place itself is a little small. There is a narrow hallway with some seating. If you don't like tight spaces I wouldn't sit there. They have merchandise as you walk in. I liked the quality of the shirts. They were extremely soft. I ordered the banana pudding ice cream, my husband ordered Bailey salted caramel, and my bestie ordered Kahlua almond fudge. Each flavor was extremely tasty. Loved my one. It had bits of vanilla wafers in it. I could taste the banana and hit of booze. I tasted the others but preferred mines. I'm could taste both the baileys and kahlua in the others. Definitely would come back. Overall, good experience. This is a must try place. They do have non-alcoholic ice cream. They also have milk shakes, and smoothies. This was a nice find. I'm glad we finally got the opportunity to go. Next time I am taking a small freezer thing with me to bring home some pints.

This will be a MUST every time I'm in the area! So creamy with just the right amount of "tipsy" flavor.

Me and my girlfriend wanted to try this place out since we've seen it on FaceBook and social media a lot. Especially since it was hot, nothing sounds better that ice cream on a hot day. The business was easy to find and there was good parking since it was in a shopping center. Once you arrive inside a wave of sweetness hits you. The aroma of ice cream and waffle cones in the air. The menu is separated from adult ice creams to kid friendly ice creams. The staff was knowledgeable of all choices and were very friendly. I ended up ordering the Southern Pecan Pie and Snickers from the adult category. My girlfriend ordered the Cookie Monster and the Salted Caramel Brownie from the kid friendly flavors. Both ended up being delicious and great! Amazing flavors and just the right amount of alcohol for the ice cream. We will definitely be back with friends and family! Great Flavors, Great Service, and an overall great experience!

My friend had been wanting to come here and invited me to try the ice cream. It's a small establishment with a few seats inside and outside really meant for a quick stop. The place was very well kept and clean, but I can imagine this place getting crowded fast with how small it is. It's similar to any ice cream place as you would expect, except they have a menu with some 'adult flavors' (but can just get regular ice cream, too). You can order smoothies and milk shakes too if you're not really interested in the cone or cup. They also had some shirts and cups on the side shelf too that you could buy, which some looked pretty cool. The guy at the front was nice and gave us some samples before picking the flavors we wanted. I ordered Kahlua Almond Fudge, which I loved. It wasn't too sweet and could taste the fudge, which was amazing. Had some almonds in it, which I thought was nice touch to have with it. I would absolutely get this one again and recommend it to anyone. My friend ordered banana pudding that also tasted nice and had bits of cookies in it. I didn't really taste alcohol in either of these like I expected, but honestly, there were pretty good flavors and were worth getting. I definitely would consider coming back here in the future when I'm in town. It's definitely a must try for anyone around the area.

WOW! Worth the stop. Great adult treat. Mudslide and Kailua almond fudge and Mudslide were great!

What do you do when it's 100*F and the A/C goes out? Obviously kick back with a scoop of "Adult" ice cream! Grabbed a scoop for myself. The big kids each had a cone with a scoop. One had Cookie Monster ice cream (yes, it was REALLY blue), while the other had chocolate fudge brownie. Everything was so delicious! After finishing my scoop, I hopped right back in the line (which was out the door 10 minutes before closing) and bought three "adult" pints to take home. It's a decent drive from NB to SA, but all three pints are safe and secure in my freezer. Yes, I'll be eating those while waiting for the repairs to be made to my freaking A/C unit. Thanks, Tipsy Cow! Y'all have amazingly sweet and hospitable staff who clearly live what they do.

Around 5:51 PM, I pointed out that some of the fruit on the toppings bar was clearly overripe and starting to rot. Even after I pointed it out again, she remained disengaged and dismissive. While it later appeared she may have texted someone for guidance, the lack of initiative and poor customer service stood out. A little courtesy and professionalism go a long way. Because of that, I've recently found myself searching for family-friendly restaurants with large outdoor areas. The outdoor area is large and spacious, and the overall atmosphere is very family-friendly. It has a relaxed vibe that feels just right for families with young children. One small observation: I do wish some parents paid a little more attention to their kids. I'm so HANGRY right now!!!!!!!…read more "DISAPPOINTED" and "DISGUSTED" are two verbs that are too lenient to describe my current experience with BJ's. Probably a series of words that aren't often put together. I've dined at several BI's and unfortunately, I've had great experiences in the past which had seeded the presumption that all BJ's would be managed similarly, regardless of location. Well, New Braunfels BJ's, all I gotta say is "BOOOO, on you! Yuck, gross and NO thank you!" Full disclosure, I did order from Über Eats but, they are not to blame. I am kicking myself for delving from my usual path for an awesome burger. Oddly, IHOP has the BEST burgers and without fall, PERFECTION!! EVERY BURGER, EVERY FLIPPING TIME!! So, anyone reading this knows that red meat prices have skyrocketed due to the screwworm or Bill Gates or whatever. It's really expensive to eat red meat! Until I get Alpha Gal from one of the too many deer here carrying the Lone Star Tic, I'm going to continue to get my dose of iron from that bloody, yum, yum, mouthwatering, juicy beef! That being said, it's not often I treat myself to a steak or a burger. When I do, I expect it to come exactly as I've ordered it. Oh, for shame that I expect something to be as described or procured as common sense would entail. So, when my cheeseburger arrived looking like a water logged atoll surrounded in a grotesque sea of sauces, I was left on my own island, in a sea of confusion drowning in copious condiments. Perhaps it just really solidifies the fact that we are truly living currently in Mike Judge's movie "Idiocracy". I'll explain. I ordered a cheeseburger cooked rare with ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, and the BJ's special sauce. I don't know who is reading this and which one of you has worked in the restaurant industry, but if you have, you can probably tell where this is going. I've worked in that industry for over 20 years but, you wouldn't have to work one day in a restaurant to realize cause-and-effect or simple physics. When you package something that is hot in a closed container, it's going to sweat. This is why most crispy items can't show up at your house as crispy like they are in the physical restaurant. Even if it's not hot, a salad tossed in dressing will wilt and get soggy quickly. That is why the dressing is served on the side for delivery orders and often for dining in the physical establishment. Makes sense, right? Sooo, I ordered every sauce they had. Why? Because I'm an A-hole. No, I have no idea how the dish has been seasoned so, I like the option of sprucing it up, if needed. Besides, the sauces are free so, why not? Well, instead of putting them on the side, which they do, if you're dining in, they liquidated (literally and metaphorically) every single sauce, like a dumpster party on top of my burger! How do you think it arrived? Gross snd slimy. I feel bad for the poor burger. Its short life it had, was drowning in a quicksand of accoutrements that were never created to commingle simultaneously. This freakish bastardized burger was something that was totally inedible. Oddly enough, though whoever packaged the salad, they got it perfect! Salad dressing on the side lettuce was crisp, crunchy bacon, perfect amount of blue cheese crumbles, and red onion. Unfortunately, Uber Eats will not refund me my money for this burger and apparently it's because of BJ's policies. Perhaps that's why they didn't want to take the extra time to package up each individual sauce which, hint, hint , Mr/Mrs/Ms Manager!! You should have those prepackaged ahead of time so no one has to do it while they're slammed in the kitchen! It's called "prep". So, I hope my tale will save some tastebuds.
