I had a similar experience the first time I went and tried to schedule a fitting where no one helped and I had to walk to a desk at the front to try and figure out the fitting process. Absolute joke of a store. Won't price match a manufacturers price. Offered to pay full price for a used demo club and was given the runaround and told no. Was in the store for an hour getting clubs appraised. Told there's a 50% trade in bonus. Went back the next day and now the bonus only applies to the purchase of new clubs. Trade in value is about half of what Rock Bottom Golf would give. Just an absolute scam of a store with zero customer service. Do yourself a favor and just get it online. read more

The PGA Super_Duper_Store is a great alternative to the other golf specific and big box stores that cater to Austin area hackers. I was shopping for clubs and they, like everyone else, were out of stock. Basically the cupboards were bare. I explained to one of their Reps that I was seeking a specific Ping iron set. He could not provide a definitive ETA but he did point me to an online supplier who traditionally has stock. Lo and behold I ordered my clubs online and they arrived in less than 5 days. This is an example of great customer service by the PGA SS Rep and guarantees that I will be a return customer. read more

Interesting to read the mixed reviews. I actually had a great experience at the store, and the polo shirt I wanted was not in my size, so the associate at the cashier rung me up and shipped the required size to my address. There was a slight inconvenience of having to call back to have the shipping reversed (somehow they can't do that at the cashier), but that only took 2 minutes on the phone after I gave them the order # after receiving the top. Yes, I do agree there's less equipment being sold here compared to the Golf Galaxy nearby, but if you're in the market for everything else golf related, wow, this super store was amazing. I gotta give major kudos to PGA Superstore Steven and his associate at the register. I needed my receipt for my LFR to send back to Blue Tees so they can process my warranty claim. I just went in there and they said they just switched over to a new system so they are only able to see purchases dating back to June. The girl took my number and said she would have the GM give me a call when he gets in. I was pretty much thinking I wasn't ever going to get a phone call. Went there for a set of clubs for my wife, found a set that had a sticker price on it we liked. She got them for 15m and we went to buy them along with some clothes, gloves , tees and balls. The price rang up 100.00 more for the clubs then the sticker on the bag and the clubs themselves. Patrick the manager, you just lost a lifetime customer over 100.00. Great job standing your ground! Went by Sat to check out the new store. Very busy as expected. Went back today Memorial Day intending to get fitted for a new driver. Wasnt busy yet at 945 am. To my disappoinment wasnt able to get any help or even get acknowleged after 10 min. Finally as I was walking out disgusted asked to see a manager. The manager was one of the people ignoring me as I stood 5 feet from him. After complaining he gave me a disingenuos well ok what can I do for you. Guess PGA Superstore doesn't know that service is what will set them apart as the prices are set. I went up the street to Golf Galaxy. Everyone of my experiences at PGA Tour Superstore have been exactly what I had hoped for. Specifically my most recent one. My SimMax cracked and so I brought it in on Monday for a replacement. 4 days later i was told I could come into the store for a brand new replacement, despite Taylormade not being able to have it ready until 2 months from now. Stephen was incredibly helpful in setting me up with a new Driver, new shaft, and upgraded grip. Don't buy your new clubs anywhere else. Customer Service and Expertise are 10/10 here. I am extremely unhappy with my experience shopping with the PGA superstore. I ordered a pair of golf shoes and they were shipped via FedEx. I tracked the shoes and they stated they were delivered yet they were not. I understand that this is not the fault of PGA Superstore however, when I called and asked for help they would not help me at all. I spent $120 on my shoes and they were lost. PGA store was not willing to investigate with FedEx or file a claim. When I called back they just told me that they would not give me a refund nor would they give me a replacement pair. FedEx says that because PGA used a certain type of shipping method, that they were the only ones who could file a claim. Neither FedEx or PGA store were willing to help me and I am out $120 with nothing to show for it. I will not ever use them again. From now on I will order my products through Golf Galaxy! I have been to this store on two separate occasions looking to buy a new putter and new golf bag. The first time I walked around the store for nearly 20 minutes and wasn't acknowledged by a single employee. The second and most recent visit happened 2 days ago when I went in to buy a new Taylor Made SpiderX putter. I walked in to the building without being greeted, but I still proceeded to the practice green. As I tested the putter I wanted to buy an employee walked right in between me and the cup I was putting at. The employee never once looked in my direction grabbed a putter for another guest then walked right in between me and the cup again as if I were invisible. All golfers should know etiquette, especially those in the golf business. To walk in between someone and the cup as I am practicing is so rude. The employee didn't apologize or even look my way, so I put the putter down and went to Golf Galaxy instead. read more

I do not know what the problem is with this store. I was on a trip to Austin and drove 45 min out of my way to go by to try to buy some things. As soon as I I walked into the store the staff was not helpful. I was made to wait for about 15 minutes just to ask a question at the counter to get a new golf shaft. Went by to test the difference between some of the new Callaway Irons. Had an old racist sales rep tell another rep to keep an eye on me because he thought I'd try and steal the club I was testing... a single 7 - iron. I asked him how much it cost to get the clubs cut if I bought a set and he told me it was $150 a club and then walked away. At some point I had to laugh to myself as I'm a senior software engineer and some minimum wage sales rep treated me like I can't afford to play golf just because I'm not white. Being able to actually test clubs with advanced metrics before you buy them is a great concept but this is a terrible place. read more

The young blonde behind the register could use a little retraining. Bought my hubs a putter for Father's Day. Knew he would probably want to exchange it so was very careful w it. When purchased the manager I presume said no problem returning it if it hadn't been used to play. The first thing from her was a curt has it been over 90 days? Luckily it had not as no one said anything about 90 days. Picked out a putter for exchange and then she tried to say it was marked and had been used. She called over another staffer who looked it over and said it was fine. The club had NEVER been used. Whole experience was lacking. read more

Went in for a driver fitting and couldn't of been happier with the experience. I worked with Ken Bragg and from the moment we started the fitting he made the experience one of a kind. We went through multiple options and he was never pushy towards any products. The fitting went as it should and the numbers and consistency of the new club/shaft combo spoke for itself. Went there on opening day. It was crazy with all the people there. Plenty of staff to answer any questions I had. The store was full of inventory and had all levels of cost. Saw some pants and shirts with the PGA brand that was very reasonable cost. Picked up some clothes to purchase and my friend asked " Are you going to get in line?" Then he pointed out the line. It was from the front of the store with a curve to the very back of the store. About a 30 minute wait maybe longer. I put the clothes back and we walked out. A staff member said to come back when it was not so crazy. Did not win anything because we were too far back in the line before the store even opened. read more

Excellent customer service time and again! My first experience was a custom fitting with Paul Nagy, who had patience and knowledge and made me comfortable as a newbie. Since then, I have repeatedly gone back and always find everyone super friendly and helpful. The reason for this review is the exceptional treatment by Jacob on my last visit. I determined that the jumbo grips on my clubs were hindering my swing and he took the time to explain about the various grip types and sizes and helped me pick out new ones. He was slammed at the front of the store, but still managed to help several people at once and make everyone feel like they were getting his full attention. I really appreciate that once I picked a new grip, he prioritized replacing my 7-iron immediately so that I could go to the bays and try it out to determine whether I would then switch to that grip on all of my clubs. Sure enough, I loved the grip and the PGA store had them ready for me (all 10 others) the next day (ready in less than 24 hours). Jacob did not make me feel stupid for not knowing anything about grips and represents your store very well. Thank you and kudos! read more

These guys are great! I make the commute to PGA Superstore about once a month for things I need "or want!!" Chris W. Is the guy I generally deal with because he apparently knows his stuff, and seems to take an interest in what I'm asking or needing. Most recently 2-8-20, I came in to buy new shoes and Chris was not there, so Nolan helped me. I'm sure he was tired of me when I left but he helped me while I tried on "literally" 30 pairs of shoes. Ultimately, he shared his experience with me and helped me find the perfect pair. Every person I have dealt with in this store has always been very pleasant. I would not shop at another Golf store.
