Christian came out and did a great job. My interior was already fairly clean, but he made it pristine, even getting the small dirt spots by the driver's seat that others usually miss. I am doing this in three stages and recently completed Stage 1. My three stages are: Stage 1 is applying paint protection film (PPF). They did a fantastic job with this. They thoroughly washed the car before they started, noted nicks and chips and touched those up for me. Then they applied the film over the front, the mirrors, the door edges and the back below the hatch. They sent me photos throughout the installation process and kept me informed. I picked the car up on Friday and they made an appointment for me to come back in two weeks to check on the film. That's caring about doing the job correctly. Stage2 will be about applying a ceramic coating Stage 3 wil be to tint the windows to stop the effects of UV rays and infrared. Everyone at the shop was professional and easy to deal with. But do to my car being a midsize vehicle (Tesla Model Y), there was a $10 charge. And then there is a $3 fee for credit card charges. In my opinion, it's a pretty good deal. They do a good job. And they work all day. They deserve what they charge. If you're looking for TOP notch detailing, they may provide other services for a deeper clean. But this would be ideal for a once or twice a month service, because drive through car washes don't do much in my opinion. Plus, hand drying it and vacuuming on my own, isn't really worth the time and effort. Especially in comparison to a nice "self service" car wash. Most of them charge between $10-$20 dollars anyway. I might as well pay other people to do it. They work hard. Do a good job. They're pretty honest about their pricing.

Anyways, when I first get there, it's a little hard to find, but they're the same company as the Royalty Exotic Car. You just go in through the main entrance and tell them you're there for the Auto Spa. After getting checked in, I opted for the mini-detail as it was their fastest service, meticulous detail to your car in what turned out to be just an hour. Anyways, they did a great job was the mini detail. They restored the super gloss on the car's PPF wrap, you could see the vacuum lines on the carpet, no dirt on the all weather floor liners, even the extra set of carpet liners I had in the trunk had the vacuum lines! This place is amazing! Also to note is that they're very meticulous about the products they pick. Their soaps and waxes are all ceramic safe and gentle. It's your standard wash, not a waterless wash. They have an in house water filtration system so you're getting new, soft, and purified water. While you wait, you can look at the cars available for rent and they have quite a few. I can hear their Rolls Royce calling out to me. Once they are done, they bring your car to the front of the business. As they were backing my car into one of their logo parking spots, it hit me that my could be one of their rental cars. Nah. I wish my car wouldn't roll down its window when opening the driver's side door but it does, and it gets wet again after wiping it dry how many times.

I'd say it's around 20k miles on road trips, most of which I was awake for watching tv. Trust me, the Lord of the Rings, the entire series of Suits, and Billions helped and the longest straight stretch was about 26 hours. Thankfully FSD alarms you when it's pulling off the highway for sparks Sadly she wasn't celebrated like her family members on our White House lawn Not sure if I was going to stay in Vegas, last summer I spent it downhill mountain biking around Colorado. Racing to the lifts a rock flew out the back of a dump truck on the interstate spider cracking the windshield. That was a first. I waited until the end of summer to replace it, and I kid you not a week later, behind a lifted 4x4 three rocks took out the second. FML. Before I replaced it for a third time, I researched ways to prevent this. The car body is already covered in 3M PPF, with a 10 year Ceramic Pro coating, and I learned about product called Windshield Skin ( @windshieldskin ). Engineered to 8 and 12mil thicknesses for durability it's meant to absorb a direct hit, up to size of a silver dollar. After spending a fortune fixing the glass I didn't want to have to do that again. In Vegas only two shops dealt with how difficult this install is. I selected Fresh Detail LV ( @freshdetaillv ) and opted for the thickest custom ordered 12mil edition. Not only did they flawlessly install it, but I have a bit more confidence I won't have ( knock on wood ) to fix the glass again. I highly recommend them if you're in town. As an engineer with a bit of OCD it took forever to solve this. I share this because just like the toughest bugs we battle, our outside lives often have the same challenges. Because I love outdoor sports, I'll never drive a car I own without this on it again.
