Went there for a watch battery for my Bulova watch, and to have it pressure tested for water resistance. My watch had been without a battery for a year because every time I decided to take it some place for a battery they didn't do the pressure test. So finally on a trip down to SoCal from San Francisco I brought my watch along and decided to Google a place in La Habra and found this place. They were absolutely delightful. I initially liked this business establishment because it was family operated and I love to support family businesses, but just selling jewelry, fixing watches and making money isn't all about running a business. Just because you already got paid doesn't mean your customer service goes out the window, which is what happens here. You should have the customer leaving happy, not upset and disappointed. I had a couple of my bracelets soldered here a few months ago. On one of the bracelets, the parts they soldered came apart again. So I went in to get it re-fixed again under the warranty which I was told was a year but found out in the store it was only 3 months. Daisy, the lady that's always at the front counter, charges me $20, which is actually more than what I paid for the first time I got it fixed. I paid $19.05 the first time I turned it in. If I've already paid for it and it wasn't repaired properly, I shouldn't be charged again, and more at that! She then blames me saying after it leaves the store she doesn't have control over how I handle my jewelry. A paying, multiple returning customer should never be blamed for the poor job the business performs. I was so offended I just left the store. Oh and one more thing, they'll give you $5 off if you give them 5 stars on yelp. I was tricked into that the first time I went in so I wonder how many people just gave them 5 to get $5 off. I noticed their reviews are either 5 stars or 1 star. I'm convinced all the 1 star reviews are more accurate. I almost never give bad reviews, especially to family operated small business, but I was so upset that I just couldn't let this one go. Daisy needs to take training classes and learn some customer service skills if they still want that business running. This is actually the second time she disappointed me but I'm only writing a review for this experience. Just heads up, Daisy is soft spoken and seems overly nice at first meeting, but after you give her your money, she becomes a different person and is extremely unprofessional. Read all reviews carefully before thinking of going to this unprofessional, disrespectful place of business. All the negative reviews are consistent in saying they overprice things and do a poor job in repairs. Also, their replies to their reviewers show they don't want their business, but they do want the money. To the owner, Brian: I don't appreciate your attitude towards your reviewers. Your reviewers are still your paying customers who came into your store for a reason. Your passive aggressive replies to your reviewers and placing the blame on everyone else like "the jewelry manufacturers" show your professionalism. If I, a paying, multiple returning customer, am coming into your repair shop, I expect things to repaired. If you feel you were incompetent to do the job properly, you should not take my money at all in the first place. You don't take responsibility for your poor workmanship and you have no respect for your customers. By the way, I never give false information. If you're saying the $5 off was for check-in, you need to speak with your worker about giving customers false information about the 5 stars for $5. You should go and take those training classes on customer service with Daisy as well. It's very obvious that you two are not aware but customer service is extremely important in business and you need more education and training. read more

Like you, I was reading online reviews of jewelers and decided to give these guys a try. I needed a complicated custom job done quickly around Christmas time. Brian--who was clearly busy with tons of other holiday orders--spent an inordinate amount of time with me asking questions, proposing ideas, and identifying roadblocks before they became problems. He was professional yet personable, and extremely competent throughout the whole process. Whenever Brian wasn't available, Bruce and Carlos were there in-person and over the phone to help every time I called. In the end, my project ended up better than I could've asked for at a more than reasonable price.
