I had a great experience when I went last year to get my ring resized twice, so when my diamond broke off my engagement ring I took it to them yesterday only to be told that my ring was cheap and I should've known better than to buy such a cheap ring. My ring is a 2.5 carrot princess cut diamond ring setting that snapped off. I did not purchase from them and I didn't think that was going to be held against me. Because I questioned his high quote of $650 to have the diamond reset on the ring he became rude and insulting. I know when I went there before another woman helped me who was pregnant and she was kind and even suggested that I have my wedding band re-dipped which I planned to do with the repair of my engagement ring. I went in for 2 watch batteries. The guy pointed out that one of my watches was solar powered and didn't need a battery. Duh, I should have known this but since I didn't it was nice of him to point out. I got another battery in less than 15mins for $15. Good time and good price. In looking around I found they have a very nice diamond selection among other things. Everyone was very friendly and the store was inviting and clean. I've had earrings and necklaces repaired. what really won me over was when they were able to repair my belated aunts gold bangle bracelet. my aunt gave me her bracelet just weeks before her passing and when it broke, I was devastated. I came upon Beyond Two Rings somewhat by accident, and I'm so glad I did! My wedding ring set, which is so precious to me, has kind of evolved over 44 years. With the originals being lost and replaced and an anniversary band added in, the rings are even more beautiful than the originals, but are designed the same. My wedding ring has cuts in the design and I noticed some of the design was wearing as the rings had been put together to prevent sliding around. I wanted to have them taken apart so the design would not be lost. I wanted to go to a place where I could be comfortable leaving them, and wasn't sure about where to go. As soon as I walked into the store and met Brian, I felt at ease. He spent a lot of time telling about the store and was interested to hear about us and my jewelry. I immediately felt a sense of trust. And they even offer an option that one can wait while the jewelry is being repaired! I was comfortable to leave mine there and wait for a return text when the work was completed. I picked them up yesterday and I haven't been able to stop looking at them! I got a custom engagement ring and wedding band, and the process couldn't have been smoother and more importantly transparent. I didn't know anything about diamonds. Brian took the time to go through characteristics of what to look for in a diamond which made me feel more confident in my purchase. I showed him some pictures of rings I liked to get an idea of the style I was going for. A 3D model was created on the computer to show how exactly it would look and to be absolutely sure they 3D printed the ring and added the diamond. This visual prototype was extremely helpful, made a few tweaks based on the model and we finalized the design.
