I first went to this salon in 2024 to get my curls shaped. The stylist was kind and informative on how to care for my hair, she gave me a great cleanse, and although I didn't really like the way my hair looked leaving, I was able to style it with products from home that made me love the cut. I returned in June of 2026 for a long overdue cut and shape; the stylist that worked with me was Madelyn. I asked for bangs to frame my face and layers to add volume. While she did a nice trim, my hair still looked flat and I didn't have many bangs nor a frame to my face. I thought that this was another instance where I'd go home and learn to style it then love it, but it didn't happen this time. I left a message with the salon and they were gracious in letting me in for a redo appointment with Madelyn being guided by a Senior Stylist. The Senior Stylist wasn't present when I returned and it seemed like Madelyn just didn't want me in her chair. The redo appointment lasted no more than 15 minutes with very little cutting or shaping. When I asked for more volume, Madelyn put tiny clips in my hair she said I could have. At that point I was frustrated enough that I wanted to cry, but didn't want to draw attention to myself. Unfortunately, I don't feel this salon is able to cut all types of curly hair. I only recommend going if you're looking for a good base for you to style yourself at home. read more

Even though we told her we did not want a refund -- since we researched, booked, and received the service -- they still insisted after understanding what happened. For us, it was never about the money but about the experience and the time lost, so this gesture was not expected. They also explained that a health issue contributed to the odor we noticed. I wish we had known about that in advance, so we could have decided whether to book the service. I had my hair cut by Julez today and it started with a consultation where she asked me many questions to really understand what I wanted for my hair today. I loved how thorough she was. She then asked if I wanted a silent or an educational shampoo where she talked through the methods and products she was using. She helped me find products that would work and what ingredients to look for. She was very meticulous in her hair cutting and checked things over multiple times to make sure I was happy and that the curls worked. I found this location from a search for curly specialists. I loved that the website was clear with pricing so I knew I could afford as a lot of curly cuts tend to be so pricey. I later found a friend went to the same location with great results. The atmosphere is clean and simple. Loved the complimentary drinks and spa like smells. I worked with Beverly and she was very knowledgeable and kind. She listened to my wants, asked great questions. She gave me step by step instructions on how to take care of my hair from wash to style. I added on the detox wash and my hair felt so soft and smelled great. I was shocked that she was able to give my 3c thin hair definition while being a soft no crunchy curl. The shrinkage was a lot as she barely cut and just shaped my hair. When I walked in, I was greeted by a concierge who offered me bottled water and a snack -- such a nice touch! I had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Capri, and all I asked for was a few highlights, a cut, and a shampoo/deep conditioner. She delivered all that and more. While washing and conditioning my hair, she used steam on my scalp -- and wow, it was amazing! I had never experienced that before, and honestly, I could go back just for that. I would give 20 stars to Madelyn and team if I could. I found the shop via Facebook. The spot has good parking, clean inside and out. Very friendly staff. Scheduling an appointment was easy and the team was great at communicating. The appointment was for my 15 year old daughter. Faster access from the doors farthest from BofA (closer to cheetahs) but it's an easy walk inside following the numbers of each suite if you enter through the main door. Alejandra was super friendly and patient. I have allergies so I brought products I use and for the preliminary curly consult that is helpful for them to guide what may be helpful or hurtful for your hair. Alejandra definitely seems able to adapt to your level of chattiness. I'm not super talkative in the chair and she was able to read that well but also sorry Alejandra if it was awkward(you're awesome!). It was my first curly cut and I do occasionally straighten my hair. I'm a bit nervous to do so after few post drying snips but my hair is happier overall. The salons proprietary brand is exexpensive though. read more

What I liked most was she took her time trimming my hair, didn't do too much and even took the time to dry it at the end with the diffuser which hasn't always been my experience. Julez was so very patient and not only gave me an excellent haircut but also spent the time to teach me how to style my hair at home. I've been loyal to another salon when it comes to my blonde highlights but since I've been so happy with the curly cuts at Beyond Veneer I wanted to try their coloring services. This time around I got Alejandra as my stylist and she was wonderful during the entire process. I appreciate the consultation portion so they can get to know my routine and recommend the best service and products for my hair needs. I love being a fake blonde and I will keep bleaching my hair until I'm incapable of doing so, so I'm not gonna lie, I was reluctant to get a partial Createdlights. I'm used to my entire head being covered in foil and was scared of what the outcome might look like. But wow, my hair came out great AND I avoided unnecessary damage to my hair. The stylists really care about damage control and maintaining the integrity of your hair which in the end, a healthy head of hair accentuates the curls and waves. I have been following beyond veneer on instagram for a while before I went to get my haircut because I am always hesitant to get a curly cut from someone I am not recommended to. I really enjoyed the work they do and saw they did good jobs through their videos. When I saw they were doing a promotion to be a hair model for a lower price I knew it was time to see what they were all about. I was paired with Alejandra a newer stylist so I wasn't sure what to expect when I get there. I really enjoyed the beginning consultation process to help them really understand my hair process as well as what my curls needed. She took the time to explain everything and even took the time to let me understand the types of products I was using was damaging my hair. Throughout the whole cut and wash Alejandra made sure she explained every step she was doing and even gave me a relaxing eye mask while she washed my hair. She understood I wanted to keep my length but also help refresh my hair by cutting enough of the dead ends without going too short. After she styled my hair I genuinely felt like she took everything I wanted into consideration and it was the first curly cut that I felt amazing walking out of. It has been a month since my cut and the products she recommended have been doing wonders for my hair. I have been using their in house shampoo and conditioner and it is amazing.
