I went to Beyoutiful before a vacation for multiple services: spa mani+pedi, bikini wax, haircut and color. From the start, LIz - the owner - was very accommodating and arranged a time and day that was most convenient for me. There is plenty of parking here. The salon space is small, but well organized. My first services were the spa mani+ spa pedi. Both were top notch, but the spa pedicure was AMAZING! - part massage, part relaxation plus all the pedicure goodies you expect. I felt so very well cared for. The nail services are in a private room, so the focus is totally on you. I was so blissed out that I lost track of time, but I believe the pedi itself took an hour, if not more. To say it is worth every penny is an understatement. It is worth much more than I paid. I went on to get a bikini wax. This was as pleasant and painless as it can be, given the circumstances of a stranger ripping hair off your body :-) The esthetician even threw in a free eyebrow shaping, my first ever. The result was to make my eyes look more open and more awake. Now I'm addicted. Finally, my hair. Liz spruced me up with a base color, highlights, and a new cut. She used all Aveda products and I love my new style. It has been a couple of months and the style still looks good as my hair grows. This highlights were just what I needed to brighten up my look. Great salon! Highly recommend. Liz has done my hair for years and I'm always thrilled with it. Liz highlights my hair in a very natural way so I can stretch the time between appointments She will also suggest doing a few color touch ups in between when it needs a boost. They are always so accommodating and they will fit you in right away. When I called recently to get appointments for my girls (9 and 12), Liz was booked but Britney (another stylist) offered to see them so they could have haircuts before school started. My girls were thrilled. Their hair looked awesome. I remember when we walked out after their first visit. They both had just had their hair cut and blown dry. My younger daughter turned and said, "I don't think I've ever felt prettier!" And I feel the same way! read more

Liz, the owner, is an amazing hair stylist and a hysterical person- I always look forward to getting my hair done because she does such a great job! Also, my mom and I have been seeing Kim for our eyebrows for over ten years, and I would never go anywhere else. Her attention to detail is incredible and I seriously feel like a new person every time I leave. Everyone here does an amazing job and you can tell they really truly care about their clients. Kim is the GODESS of eyebrow shaping! I have been going to her now for almost a year and it is the BEST you can get. I have tried multiple places with various estheticians/stylists doing my brows, but by far Kim is top-notch. She is always consistent and gives me exactly what I ask for, while making it as painless as possible. There is never a hair out of line by the time I leave, which is well worth the trip through town into Portsmouth. As far as the rest of the salon and spa goes, I have yet to try any other services, but that will probably be changing soon when I get more time.
