I started taking it to MeGee because they were closer to home. I have been coming here for several years, spent money as I regularly serviced 2 vehicles and yes, I always paid for whatever extra recommendations they had. I had an oil change 5/2/2024, my fan started kicking in loudly on 5/15. Called them and explained what I was hearing. They said bring it in. I immediately got a rental since I work in real estate and NEED to have a car. They get my Jeep in, call me back and say there is absolutely nothing wrong with the Jeep but they recommend changing the spark plugs, trusting them, I tell them to go ahead and change them. When they say its ready for pick up (Friday), I voice my concern again because spark plugs (in my mind) have nothing to do with a fan kicking in loudly (usually means something is getting hot right?) The guy laughs at me and tells me (annoyed) that there is nothing wrong with my jeep and that the noise is normal making me feel dumb for voicing my concern again. So I said ok.I picked it up and the very next day I am driving it to my appointments and the fan kicks in again and now the temperature gauge is in the red. I slammed on my breaks and pulled over going 60mph on a busy road. SUPER DANGEROUS.... but I manage to pull over safely, shut it off and get it picked up my Preston Millsboro. Once again I have to get a rental vehicle. Preston takes a look at the Jeep and tells me within the hour that they have discovered NO COOLANT in my Jeep and now a blown head gasket and other interior leaks due to overheating. I said how? that is impossible it just had an oil change and I took it back to MeGee because of the fan noise and they assured me it was fine. The tech at Preston asked me if they checked the COOLANT ? (I didn't know) he then said... maybe they never put coolant in it when they did the oil change. I have to replace my engine which is going to cost me $14,000 and MeGee is taking no accountability and they cannot show me or tell me that they actually checked my coolant or if there was some issue when the oil change was done. They are not answering my questions. I have filed a complaint anywhere and I can because this is unfair, sexists (treating me like I am just a woman and don't know what I am talking about) and totally negligent. They put me and possibly others in danger by not doing their jobs correctly and now simply ignoring the fact. BE CAREFUL. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I have spent most of my professional career with Mercedes-Benz, as a Sales Person, a GM, a Manager, and working in my own dealership with MBFS in Fort Worth selling repossessed Sprinters. I can honestly tell you that I have NEVER felt more attended to in a dealership than I did yesterday while getting one of my Mercedes serviced, (the CLK450).  When it comes time for me to bring my E350 Wagon in, I know where I will bring it. Amanda, the Service Advisor, made sure that I was informed and gave me excellent reasons to "Go ahead and get the work done now, rather than let it become a problem".  I came in for an inspection, and wound up spending $1500, and felt like I got more than my money's worth. Ashley, the Service Manager, was very busy yesterday, but still got involved just enough to make me feel like a VIP. The topping on it all was when Van Corbin, Sales Manager, who was slammed yesterday, came out at the end of the day and thanked me for bringing my car there for service...  Who gets that kind of treatment?? With AutoAlert, I have been in over 200 of the 350 Mercedes dealerships around the country, and ALL of them would wish that they had a committed team like you have at Pohanka Mercedes-Benz. I firmly believe that your store is destined to become a REGIONAL center for Mercedes.   Mercedes owners expect great service, are willing to pay for it, and are loyal when they get it. I purchased a used 2020 Jeep Wrangler from Pohanka Jeep in Salisbury, Sept 2024. The car has given me good service and I received a text from Pohanka about an interest in purchasing my Jeep. I called two times before Il could speak to a sales manager. The offer was definitely unacceptable for a pristine Jeep with under 22,000 miles. The sales manager lives close to my home and I even ask if he could stop by and take a look at my Jeep to reconsider a better offer. Its showroom ready..Never driven off road garage kept perfect condition...Couldn't accomodate me. So second question... I asked him if I could get a second key since it did not come with one and all the online platforms ask about the number of keys and the price is reduced because of only one key. The sales manager said my purchase would have reflected that. I was never told this when I purchased the Jeep. I hung up feeling very disheartened. Goodwill to a customer is what you won't receice anymore...Ive purchased from Pohanka Mercedes several times and its a totally different experience. Pohanka has lost me as a customer over a key and a text to solicit me to purchase my Jeep. An offer almost $3,000 less than Carvana. Educate yourself before you walk into this dealership. Ill never purchase another vechicle from Pohanka again.
