The horrible part, keep in mind never missed a payment or a oil change. Check engine came on end of July, service department told me it was fine to use it until my appointment in August. Supposedly a sensor issue. Get it back and within 5 days light is on again. Call the service department and was told that I did not have to pay for the previous work because the problem was not fixed. Fast forward to me picking up the car I asked what do I owe? She looked at he paper and said it doesn't look like anything. I asked her to make sure. Went in the back and came back and said there is no price and to just sign it. So November rolls around on maternity leave call to check on a credit I was building up and the took it towards service work. I asked what work? They said it was label as wheel work and tire replaced. Nope incorrect my boyfriend was there when it was being fixed and asked the guy and all they did was replace all the sensors instead of just the one like before. I talked to the service manager Scott and he brushed me off with "sometime we just label the work with that when we can't find want we really did" so that fraud right there. Was told I need to speak with a Brian the manager after 7 voicemails , Facebook message and even a couple of comments still to this day never held this man voice. End of February bought a new car told them to come pick it up and told me no. So I cancelled the insurance. Got a call from Karen explained all of this she agreed with me that I was not wrong. And promise me a call from manager still didn't happen. She order the car for pick up. Once the guys get here the one even said "how did the f*** you guys over " nice So the Karen called back said they got it and they will send a letter with what I owe get the letter for over $5000 it was only a 04 Ford Escape and my monthly payment was 503.15 and had the car 2 years I had done paid that car twice and now want more. Tried calling Teresa left voicemail still no return call. This was the worse decision I have ever made please avoid this place unless you like to over pay for a car and get ignored.

When I arrived to pick up my car one of my front tires was completely flat! The shop foreman plugged my tire on the outside wall where you are not supposed to plug or patch! Mind you my tires are less than a month old and no one mentioned my tire being slack or flat during the time they had it which was 5 days. So I went home and before I got home the tire went flat again. I went to air it up the next day and there was a dent in my front quarter panel right above the tire that was flat (again not there when I dropped off my car) I politely called the service manager twice and no return call. I waited a couple days and called back and spoke with the GM and he had a whole attitude when he got on the phone as he mentioned he got the story from the service workers and basically said they did nothing to damage my car or the tire and sorry about my luck! I then called Mr. FREDERICK HERTRICH, III at the seaford location and what do you know...he did not return my call either! All I wanted was for them to replace my tire and I would have settled for them to just bang out the dent and I don't think that's too much to ask when this all happened to my car while in their care! I stopped going to the Salisbury Hertrich dealer service because they were terrible and was hoping it was just them, but apparently not. Seaford is just as bad. Bad service, terrible communication, and they overcharge you without accepting any fault. This will be the last time I go to Hertrich.

Buick Division of GM offered a no charge first oil change so I took them up on the offer and arrived at 8:30am on that date. The service person told me that there was an open recall on the radio, and I said that the radio worked fine and wasn't in need of any repair of any kind. The serve person said they must do this work as it was an open recall. Should only take an additional 1 hour to update the software. I agreed to the repair. I went out for a walk and returned about an hour later to learn that the technician had LOCKED UP my radio (the second time he/she had done so in the last 24 hours to another new Buick), but they would be contacting GM for advice. And recommended I wait. I sat around for an additional 90 + minutes to be told (after I had to ask the status), that I could leave with a broken radio or take a rental car. I took the car. They told me they would have to replace the radio (their foul up) and it was on back order. ON AUGUST 11th, I GOT MY CAR BACK. 41 DAYS LATER. Remember, I went in for an oil change. I had to threaten them with a lawsuit to motivate them to fix my car. I drove their car for nearly 3000 miles as I waited and waited and waited for my car. You are fair warned, stay away from this dealership if you need service. I am sorry i ever bought my car from them much less went in for service.

Awful experience will never visit again…read more My husband and I purchased a 2009 Ford Flex. They told us that the next day they were taking it to get inspected and detailed. At 4:30 pm my husband had to call and check to see if we could pick the car up, he was given the run around and finally told him the car failed inspection. They gave us another car to drive in the meantime and we had to call again to see if we could pick up our car. I was told it had passed inspection, however a detailer was not available. The sales manager said he tried to clean it up the best he could if we wanted to come get it. Haha I think my dog could have done a better job, if he even did touch it. Driving the vehicle home, my husband heard a loud thump. It sounds horrible. The car was driven from their Salisbury store to their Laurel store and there is no way that person didn't hear this noise. We were told to bring it back down and they would fix it again and detail it.

They took another chance on me and won a customer for life. Things have slowed down with my business but at the peak, I had 11 vehicles financed here. They have always treated me fairly, always provided quality vehicles, and if I've ever been in a jam, they've always jumped to help. These other reviews are laughable. Yes, letting your vehicle run while pumping gas can trigger the check engine light. No, they aren't going to hold a vehicle without a deposit. But to each their own.
