I brought my dog here for many years. The haircuts were mid at best, I'd usually have to fix a few spots when we'd get home but nothing crazy. My dog however would always have the worst anxiety when we would get to the door. Once he even chewed through his leash as we were waiting to be checked in. I just figured it was because he was an anxious guy. I've taken him to a different place the last two times he's needed a haircut. I am paying a tad more but the way he was calm and seemed almost happy to be there tell ls me there was something going on at Bias. The new groomer said "he clearly doesn't like the blow dryer, so we don't use it on him" I'm told Bias has other methods but I can't verify so I won't mention them. I'm not sure what's happening over there but the way my dog acts at the new place, tells me it isn't good at the old place. read more

You know, I have used Bia's in the past, but became concerned after reading a few negative reviews. So the previous grooming for my dog, I tried a different groomer with higher ratings. Honestly, I likes Bia's better. The most recent grooming with bia's was scheduled a week out. That tells me that a lot of people use them and many of those that are happy, just don't review. And then I talked to a neighbor who uses them. Like me, they were happy with Bia's. The staff has always been friendly and and takes special care with my blind boy. DO NOT GO TO THIS GROOMING SALON! Unless you want your dogs paws to be hacked off "accidentally". HALEY is not our usual groomer but they called an hour before seeing Abby and cancelled it because she had to go to a different location? How unprofessional when we specifically requested her. She may have been sick ok understandable but to flat out change locations and just cancel your appt. GEEZUS. Also to have your dogs paw snipped off and bleeding on the table after stating he may be 2-3 hours groomed. And Haley took 5 hours before starting. It seems as if my previous review got deleted but this is just a warning for those who love their dogs. We could not even take him to an emergency vet because they had wait times for 10-12 hours. read more

Worst groomer for my yorkie that I have experienced. the front desk was rude, kept us waiting for a long time. groomer finally came out to see what I wanted and then grabbed my girl and went behind closed doors. groomer said it would be 3-4 hours, she called me less than an hour and told me that Bella was ready. When I went to pick her up, there was another long wait, lost her leash and tried to strong arm me into a trip which I refused until i could see Bella. Groomer can out with Bella and she looked like she had been groomed by a lawn mower. $65 for the worst service and groom. read more

We have been clients of the PetShop since it was in Old Litchfield. Things have just continued to go down in services and after our last visit, where our pup was cut AGAIN (this time in the mouth), we will not be back. The staff is at the front is always kind and welcoming, but the grooming services have not been up to par. We will not be back after this weeks visit. read more

Now they can't do service on my dog because of this! I picked up my dog after she was done and she comes out with my dog and I claimed what is this!? This is worse haircut I've ever seen and I've seen the owner hair so I'm guessing she cutting dogs hair like her own ? Anyways! horrific terrible place I took my dog to this grooming place and she came out more than 5 times with a bad haircut. owner claims she knows how to cut dog hair looks like she couldnt pass cosmology school. once my dog came with cuts on her neck ( I have pictures to prove) my dog is a very playful dog but everytime I pick her up she's very sad and won't eat wont play and I blame this dog grooming place. I always schedule her to a correct person who knows how to cut my dog breed but Unfortunately after it looks like they dont even know how to do their hair. On Saturday, I called Bia's pet stop to see if they did walk-ins for cats nails. They said they could so I brought Luna writing to get her nails. Luna does not like getting her nails cut and can be very aggressive. They came out. And They greeted Luna. They took her back and about 2 to 3 minutes later came out and told me She's doing great and then they're almost done. About 4 more minutes after that she was done and I was paying and on my way. If there was a -100 stars I would give that rating. I Took my Shih Tzu here today to have her groomed I've been here a few times. I'm at the shop in Litchfield Park. I went to the shop before in Avondale and they didn't do a good job at all so i transferred to this store. When They pulled out my dogs card for the grooming I asked the girl please do not touch her eyelashes and don't cut the hair on her ears please.The receptionist was very nice and wrote it down on the card. My friend Came back later to pick my dog up for me I was on the other side of town and she sent me pictures and I just teared up it was the worst haircut I've ever seen and of course they cut her ears they (complete scissor marks). I called the shop owner Bia answered and told me 100% that she never touch the ears or the eyelashes. 1 eyelash was cut short. I did come up to the shop to get my money back and at that point we were talking I told her I was going to yelp to file my complaint and she slapped me and she knocked my phone out of my hand. I did call the sheriff dept. and they did come to talk with us. Bia did admit that she slapped me hard and my phone flew. I did not file assault charges but I do hope no one else subjects themselves to this ugly , poor owned rude place. -100% read more

Two stars for the staff. All very friendly and polite but that's about it. It was my first time here and I took my 4 month old puppy for her first big cut and my baby was picked up smelly and has an uneven and patchy haircut. It was so overwhelming when I picked her up due to smell that I couldn't really see the cut but once at home, horrible. I did inquire about the smell when picking her up and was advised it was urine. I've never noticed her urine having a very distinct and strong smell and she lives with me. So this was the first red flag. I, then called on Monday to speak with the or a manager and have yet to get a call back. However, I was able to speak with the "groomer" who actually cut my puppy. She recommended bringing my puppy back in for another cut with a senior groomer. There's nothing to cut, you left her in patches and shambles. Waste of my money. Totally!!!! Lessons learned here. I was so excited when everything opened back up because my dog needed to be groomed very badly! I'm new to the area so I had asked for recommendations on the Nextdoor app- a handful of people recommended Bia's. I was able to make an appointment online for the very next day. My dog is very timid so the employee was gentle with him and said "thank you for trusting us with him" which I really appreciated . Boycotting Bia's Petstop in Litchfield Park. Can you believe the terrible service I received after being a loyal customer for years?! Today on 06/24/23, I called to see if they had any openings for my dog to get a nail trim. The receptionist who took the call verified with the manager (Shannon) who was sitting right next to her that they were not busy and I can bring in my dog right away. I was so excited! I even confirmed my distance and time of arrival and she said yes they could take him back right away. But when I got there, I was told the wait time was 20-30 mins, not even 5 mins after getting off the phone with them. Sharon knew she was in the wrong and couldn't take back what she said and being overwhelmed decided to REFUSE SERVICE. Can you believe it? With that being said, I'm on the hunt for a new groomer. I love this place and so does my furbaby Chance. I was referred to this place by Pet Planet. I've been bringing Chance to the groomers at PetSmart and he always comes back choppy and sometimes injured by clippers. I heard nothing but good things about this place. I got a little skeptical after seeing some bad reviews and post but after having expired the service myself, I am definitely coming back here again and recommending them to other pet owners. Upon arrival we were kindly greeted and the groomer came out to meet Chance. Chance is a standard schnauzer, I like his entire body shaved down to the shortest with a schnauzer face cut and trimmed eyebrows. He came back perfect! He didn't look scared or rushing to get out of there and was actually was really loving his groomer! They were giving him so much love and I love that. I wish I remembered the name of the groomer because she was awesome but I will definitely add her name in this review when I find out. read more

Very nice and friendly staff. My dog does not care for people and is very nervous. They treat her well and do all they can to make her feel comfortable when we come in. They do decent work on trimming you just have to be very specific in what you want to achieve the result. read more

First time customer of Bia's Grooming service in the Litchfield Park location. Just moved from California two weeks ago. Called on Saturday; appointment for two (2) dogs on Monday morning. Bia came out of the shop and introduced herself; discussed the the type of grooming the dogs needed; then provided their intake. Three (3) hours later, my Cockapoo looks so cute and my German Shepherd looks very handsome. The price for the service was reasonable and at market; good value for the effort! This is our second time that we've taken both our German Shepard/Husky mix "Molly" and Golden Retriever "Richard" to Bia's Pet Grooming on Dysart Rd. in Litchfield Park and we can't say enough about them. The groomers/front office staff are so attentive and listen to our requests and go above and beyond to make sure we are happy and more importantly our pups are happy. Both of our dogs are skittish but not when it comes to visiting Bia's. When we pick our pups up the staff gives us a report like we are picking up our children from day care, it's great! They really care for their furry clients and we are just so thrilled how great they look, especially our Golden Retriever with his "summer cut". He is just so much more comfortable and he looks adorable! Thank you everybody at Bia's, we truly appreciate you and your beautiful, hard work! read more

Hit or miss, been taking Teddy here for 2 years most of the time he looks great but the last few times he was cut very uneven and choppy. Not happy that prices went up....again. I don't think this is worth $50 bucks plus $8 tip. Funny how they make you pay before you see how well they groomed your baby. read more

Zero stars!! This location is a nightmare. Quite frankly every Bia location is a nightmare!!!! If Bia isn't cutting your dogs hair don't even bother with any of the other groomers! They are absolutely horrible!! Loud music always blasting at this location. Now, you tell me what dog likes loud music and a cutter near their face? NO DOG! so why add loud music to an already stressful environment for these animals and take the chance at nicking them?!?! Exactly! That is what Happened to my dog!!! 7-19-2022 This is the 2nd time I'd taken my mini dachshund to be groomed at Bia's. The 1st was a month ago and there was no issues. I made an appt. And Amy was in and out within an hour. She looked great. Candice has worked with Amy a month ago. Today, Amy had an appt at 11. Haley the person who worked with Amy today said she'd be finished at 1 pm. I returned at 12:55 to pick Amy up and Haley had not even started on Amy. Haley said that Amy would be ready at 1:30. My 15 year old mini dachshund had a muzzle on to protect any biting issues. Haley had left Amy in the cage for 2 and half hours with the muzzle on. This really upset me because Haley didnt consider the stress she was placing my dog in. When I received Amy from Haley. Amy wasn't brushed and she was soaking wet. Haley charged $50. For this disgusting representation of her version of dog grooming. When I told Haley that leaving my dog in the muzzle for 2 and half hours was unacceptable both Haley and her coworker laughed. Just warning people, dog groomers like Haley are out there. read more

Super kind and fast service. I walked in and they helped right away. Just a quick nail trim for my pup. The staff was so kind!

The groomers broke my dogs toe nail and blamed my dog for it. They broke it down the middle and didn't try to fix it to where it wouldn't get caught on things. They also charged me for services they didn't do. I asked them to wash with a desheading shampoo, cut his hair and trim his nails, all they did was wash and break a toe nail. They washed my other two dogs and cut their nails/hair but they completely shaved my small dog which I didn't ask for. Bia was so good with our cats, and one of her cat groomers was too. She really cared, gave us a brush for one of our cats who is a big shedder and just always did a reliable job and the girls seemed pretty happy after. The shop and services are phenomenal, however the communication on pricing is abysmal. I went in to get my cats nails trimmed and capped and on the phone the lady who would be doing the grooming told me it was 23 for mail clipping and 28 to have them capped on the front two feet and 35 for all 4 feet if I provided the caps. Like most people I assumed the base rate was the nail trim at 23 and the other two prices were up-charges on top of the service. She failed to mention until she was done that the 25 and 35 were IN ADDITION to the 23 dollars for clipping which was already unusually high, but inflation- whatever. So all in for two cats 4 feet trimmed and capped cost me 117 dollars. Let me run that by you again since it's a bit jarring at first ONE HUNDRED SEVENTEEN DOLLARS. Jesus, if it had been a house call I'd say; "You know what 117 is good, after all I don't have to kennel my cats and have them whine as a drive them to an area that is strange to them in the 100 degree heat" but for me to do all of that- and pay 117 dollars + be expected to tip? It's really no wonder these corporations are swallowing these small businesses whole because that's insane. I will more than likely never return and I don't recommend you do either unless you deal in handing over blank checks. read more

Everything was great until some elderly woman refused to serve our dog because she was "too stressed" about getting her nails cut despite seeing her a few months prior. We have a reactive dog but we have always been able to work this out with the groomers. Everyone else there has always been amazing with our pets, but this woman spoke abrasively and seemed to be the only one in the salon throwing a fit over it. 5 stars except for her, this has never happened before & she referred us to a vet because of her laziness. read more

Had an incident this morning where I took the Uber pup in for the glam squad at 0950 only to be told later after trying to communicate with the owner about an unsat experience at the front desk( you know, the first place you encounter that smiling face that represents the business) that I will no longer be allowed in her place of business! She really went ballistic because I did indeed use the "B" word to describe her employee who stopped midway with my check-in to attend to another customer without even saying "Boo" to me. Whatever happened to the days when that person would say "Excuse me for just a sec...she needs my help" Those few words would have stopped a torrential flood of meanness from the owner. I was trying to suggest a little training perhaps. Anyway, everything went to hell in a hand basket when the owner would not listen to what I was trying to say. It got Soooooo twisted. I was called back by a poor employee who got to tell me that the owner wanted me to come and pick up my dog, even though her grooming was not complete. I was told I wouldn't be charged. Well, I picked up my Dad's darling dog and she didn't even get a trim but I was charged 63.00 for a bath (I must have been in the wrong business for 20 years in the military) Thank you MS Bia. I will go elsewhere where a good customer for years and years is not treated like an anal gland cleaning. And maybe it was today's heat. read more

I recently moved into the area and took my two bulldogs to Bia's for grooming. At first, everyone seemed nice and accommodating. Upon arrival there was a gal at the front desk who wanted to debate everything we talked about as it relayed to bulldogs. I assured her that I had several in my lifetime, one of which lived to the age of 17. I left my dogs for 3 hours. I got a call that they were done and ready to be picked up. At that point she told me that the older bulldog dough her when trying to cut her nails so she didn't do them. I told her that was fine. I arrived at Bia's within 15 minutes of being called to pick up my dogs. I handed the girl a collar and told her it was for the younger/smaller pup and that I wanted to load her into the car first. She then comes out with my older, much larger bulldog strapped in the smaller collar, my dog was gasping for air and could barely breathe. I ran around the corner and immediately released the collar on my dog. I told the girl that I specifically told her what collar to put on which dog and she replied "sorry, the other dog wasn't ready". I chalked my dogs heavy breathing and gasping up to the collar incident. When I returned home my dog was laboring hard and had to be transported to the vet. I immediately called Bia's and asked them what had transpired and how did my dog get in the condition she was in. They said "she must have gotten worked up when we were trying to trim her nails". I explained there was no way that this transpired in the 20 minute timeframe she was referencing. She told me that she would call me right back and that she needed to speak to her staff. Four hours later she called me back and told me that it's wasn't their fault and it was the dog. Supposedly, this was their Manager. I explained that I wanted to speak to her owner and that I was extremely upset. It's been a week and a half and I still haven't heard from Bia. I will be taking further action, but I would think twice before leaving your pet here. This is the first negative Yelp review I have ever done and luckily, my dog made it home to me alive from the vet. Lastly, my dog wasn't clean. Her face was still yellowish/dirty, bit white. They make you pay before you see your animal or they would never have gotten my money. read more
