It would sit now on, the stove still should have been somewhat fresh. It's only been a couple hours and they gave me some chicken that looks like it was dry to death. I thought the chicken was going to turn into dust. In my hands, so I bring it back first of all the guy told me, because it's been a couple of hours. That's why that chicken looks like that. I told him, come on, dude. You know the chicken looks old as asf, but he insists that he takes care of it. And that it's brand new chicken, so you guys tell me if you think this drumstick is fresh chicken. My husband ate his didn't like it and decided to throw his away, but I wasn't going down like that.I decided to bring mine back to see if they were going to honor the fact that they know that this chicken was old. Now, the breast doesn't look that bad looks a little dry, but it doesn't look that bad. But that leg, you cannot tell me, this leg was fresh, and then the guy wanted to argue with me about it. Do not go to any restaurant that doesn't honor freshness for their food. We eat here quite often, and this was our first time.Trying their fried chicken now I don't ever want to eat here again.Because if you're dishonest, about a piece of chicken. What other ingredients are you being dishonest about? I like my health

Review Visit: June 2nd, 2013…read more Three people. Zero likes. Matt, Erin, and I decided to check out Rosati's Pizza one day while exploring Bloomington/Normal. In theory, all three of us love pizza and the three of us are not food snobs. We arrived at Rosati's on a sunny afternoon with empty bellies and an unhealthy desire to put down some pizza. The place was fairly empty. We must've just missed a lunch rush. What luck! We were seated at a table and given menus. It took us some time to adjust to the menu offerings and how to split an 8-slice pizza between three people. After much deliberation, we ended up with the pizza you see below. I don't remember how we arranged the toppings. I think one side was meat lovers and the other a cheese lovers? We made small talk while we waited for our food to come out. The smell drifting out from the kitchen was heavenly. This gave us all a sparkle in our eye and some drool in the corner of our mouth. The waitress brought our pizza out and it looked and smelled fantastic. We each grabbed a piece, put it on our plate, thanked the pizza gods, and dug in. I didn't need to take more than a few bites to know we were doomed with a bad pizza. There really is no other words to say besides it wasn't good. At all. I 'm normally not harsh but Rosati's is the worst pizza I've ever had... and I used to eat Jack's pizzas by choice. (Nothing against Jack's, I just find them not filling and a waste of money when you can buy better frozen pizzas for the same price.) It was a struggle to wolf down the pizza and act like it wasn't bad. Not that I had to pretend it was delicious in front of my friend and girlfriend but I didn't want to ruin the magic of the shared misery until after we were done eating and were far away from this place. I had brought up Rosati's to another group of friends recently and they all had the exact same reaction as we had. I am usually up for second chances but I will have to decline to give Rosati's another chance. If you are a fan of Rosati's, that's great! It has to be a pretty popular place as they have quite a few locations throughout Illinois. I just know its not for me.

Everyone loved their food and everything had great flavor. My only complaint would be the lack of protein. Both pastas with shrimp each had three shrimps. That seems like very little for protein in a large pasta dish especially for the price. Overall, we were happy with our experience and would eat here again...and ask for more protein.

Review Visit: May 18th, 2012…read more Noodles & Good Company. On our way to Bloomington for a concert, my dad, Matt and I needed some food. We wanted to make sure we had enough food in us before we rocked out to some music for a few hours. I didn't have a particular place in mind but I did ask if anyone wanted to try a place on my list of places... to try. Somehow we ended up picking Noodles & Company. Noodles & Company is one of those places that I had seen a ton of advertisements for, but never had the chance to visit due to none being in my town. I had no idea what to expect and was slightly disappointed with the menu offerings. Nothing really sounded appealing on the menu. I can usually find something worth wanting to order but not at this particular time. Maybe it was my mood, my appetite, or some other cosmic forces at work but nothing sounded good except for a meatball sub, which I am indifferent on. The three of us placed our orders, sat down, and waited. It didn't take long before we had our food. My dad and Matt ordered a soup of some sorts. I looked at my meatball sub and thought that it just didn't look appealing. But, not one to let my apprehension get in the way of eating perfectly okay food, I dug in. It... wasn't bad. For not expecting much, the sandwich was pretty decent. After a few bites, my appetite worked it's way over to accepting what I was eating and was okay with it. As I finished, I asked how my dad and Matt were enjoying their meals. I got a very 'eh' response from both of them. I would be willing to try Noodles & Company again should I be with someone who wants to go. They do have a good-sized menu with plenty of stuff to pick from, it's just not a place that I find on my radar. Go there yourself and see if its a place that your appetite finds more appealing.

Then the pizza came out faster than I thought it would, making my pickup timing perfect. The pizza itself was fantastically airy and light inside - not unlike a really well-made focaccia bread - and those cheesie-crisped crust corners are pure money! Having heard that these corners were the bomb, I requested the 2 half-pie / 8-corner pizza, on the downside though, the pizza we received only had four. Perhaps the coupon applied changed things, but we were a bit disappointed as it absolutely was the best part. We rationalized this based on the out-the-door cost of $17 making it OK, but I'll be more specific next time. All in all Jets was a pleasant surprise and certainly worth trying.

Tonight, we were told it would be delivered at 7:36 pm but it was more than 30 minutes late. The guy who answered the phone when we called to inquire about why said the store is struggling with delivery times, and that "I came down from Michigan to help fix it." I wouldn't recommend this place if you want pizza within a predictable time frame.
