We ordered takeout from Noodles and Company. Our order was ready in a timely fashion and everything was packaged very nicely. They included utensils and napkins which we appreciated. Everyone loved their food and everything had great flavor. My only complaint would be the lack of protein. Both pastas with shrimp each had three shrimps. That seems like very little for protein in a large pasta dish especially for the price. Overall, we were happy with our experience and would eat here again...and ask for more protein. read more

Review Visit: May 18th, 2012 Noodles & Good Company. On our way to Bloomington for a concert, my dad, Matt and I needed some food. We wanted to make sure we had enough food in us before we rocked out to some music for a few hours. I didn't have a particular place in mind but I did ask if anyone wanted to try a place on my list of places... to try. Somehow we ended up picking Noodles & Company. Noodles & Company is one of those places that I had seen a ton of advertisements for, but never had the chance to visit due to none being in my town. I had no idea what to expect and was slightly disappointed with the menu offerings. Nothing really sounded appealing on the menu. I can usually find something worth wanting to order but not at this particular time. Maybe it was my mood, my appetite, or some other cosmic forces at work but nothing sounded good except for a meatball sub, which I am indifferent on. The three of us placed our orders, sat down, and waited. It didn't take long before we had our food. My dad and Matt ordered a soup of some sorts. I looked at my meatball sub and thought that it just didn't look appealing. But, not one to let my apprehension get in the way of eating perfectly okay food, I dug in. It... wasn't bad. For not expecting much, the sandwich was pretty decent. After a few bites, my appetite worked it's way over to accepting what I was eating and was okay with it. As I finished, I asked how my dad and Matt were enjoying their meals. I got a very 'eh' response from both of them. I would be willing to try Noodles & Company again should I be with someone who wants to go. They do have a good-sized menu with plenty of stuff to pick from, it's just not a place that I find on my radar. Excited to see a Noodles while visiting the area (we don't have one ) and was very disappointed when we entered and saw the sign saying no chick-un available. This was the reason we stopped! We went ahead and ordered the Thai bowl with tofu and were underwhelmed. We had wanted the peanut Asian noddles with chick-un . It took a very long time to make two bowls to-go and the flavors were bland. The restaurant was not "dirty" but not as clean as I'd like for a restaurant. It was a Sunday at 6ish. Had to do some work there today, it is currently occupied so customers were coming and going as I worked. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The facility was clean, and because of this I chose to grab some food before I left. I'm a simple man so I just got the Mac and cheese with grilled chicken. It tasted so good! If you miss being bullied in high school, this restaurant has the perfect atmosphere. The two girls working front of house are beyond rude every time I come in. I walked in at 8:06 (they close at 9), ordered my food while the cashier gave dirty looks and walked away without giving me my receipt. I then went to fill my drink and they had taken the machine apart so it sprayed everywhere. I nicely asked if they could put the nozzle back in and after about 5 minutes of intentionally ignoring me, an employee replied "I just cleaned it" in the nastiest condescending tone. I waited nearly 10 minutes just to be able to fill my drink. I sat down and when the food was brought out, the employee nearly threw the food on the table. (This has happened countless times as I'm a very regular customer). They proceeded to whisper and glare at me throughout my meal. I've held off on writing this review because I consider myself a patient person and wanted to keep giving them chances, but I've read numerous other reviews similar to mine and I'm in disbelief. Noodles & Company is one of our favorite places to eat for lunch or for dinner.. The staff is always pleasant and busy. They have a pretty good mix of menu items, including American favorites, Oriental, Italian, other season items from time to time. They have noodle-based entrees, rice-based entrees, and even soups, salads and sandwiches. My wife likes the beef stroganoff, I LOVE the new Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese. So much, in fact, that it's all I've had since they came out with it! The restaurant is situated next to Veteran's Parkway and is pretty easy to get in and out of. The dining room isn't huge, but is right-sized for the clientele that frequent the place. At this restaurant you order your food at the counter and they give you a number to place on your table. When your food is ready someone brings it out to you. The food is always hot and fresh, and it comes out surprisingly fast. There are also no trash cans in the dining room. Instead a staff person will come by after you leave to clear your table. It's a great place to eat if you want to try something new. There are even a few tables so that you can dine outside in the warmer months. read more

I walked in this restaurant excited to get my pesto cavatappi. I was in line for a while waiting for my order to be taken for around 5 minutes. I saw the workers just laughing and conversing as if they weren't on the clock. After they take my order they go to the side and start whispering while giving me a weird look. I have nothing but negatives to say about this location. The employees were not practicing basic food safety measures, all without gloves. As they were preparing the food without gloves, they touched dirty dishes, their face, and pants, then continued to touch the food. When the food was "ready" they asked me to make sure the food was warm. There should be a certain temperature the food was cooked to, especially with chicken. They also have those drink machines where you can add several flavors to your drink. Love those!! I always get a Peach Sprite. Try it, it's yum. Noodles and Company is great! We went here on a recommendation from a local Bloomington citizen. Basically, I love curry, so I always get the Thai Curry Soup. They also have an option of tofu which I am also a huge fan. The combo is nommy and a mere 7 dollars. It is fast food in the best possible way. I heard their italian pasta is underwhelming, but that their Indonesian Peanut Saute is amazing. So stick with the Asian noodle dishes and you should be good. They let you customize it any way you want. I travel with vegetarians and this is essential for them. In the Midwest, with their meat and potatoes, it is great that we have some option for them that isn't a salad or a veggie burger. The only bad thing is I wish they had more seating, it gets especially crowded at lunch and dinner of course. Also that they don't have one in San Francisco. Good basic place for quick lunch or dinner. Menu is kept fairly limited and divided into three styles - Asian, Mediterranean or American with 4-5 variations on each style. All dishes consist of some type of noodle or pasta with vegetable and meat/fish/protein add ins costing a few dollars extra. I tend to prefer their Asian inspired offerings over the others. It's pretty much a fast food place so decor is utilitarian but not industrial. Think more Panera than McDonald's. Entree plus drink will run $8-10 or so.
