This place was so good! It's chipotle style so super easy to order and get what you want. They had so many options, that was the hardest part - picking what you wanted. It was also so hard to not get a little bit of every topping! There's literally something for everyone here. My only complaint was how much food it was! This is one of my go to spots when I want something quick, cheap, and healthy! All of the toppings taste so fresh and the workers do not skimp on the toppings at all. I've been to this location for work lunches, quick dinners or whenever I'm not in the mood to cook but don't want to sacrifice health. Nearly everything is a whole unprocessed food! Something for everyone and very vegan friendly!! The line moves along quickly and the staff is helpful and works hard to keep the restaurant looking nice. Ever since I discovered BIBIBOP Asian Grill in Columbus, Ohio over 5 years, I still enjoy their food. The type of food here is similar to KOREAN BIBIMBAP which means 'mixed vegetables with rice'. FOOD -- So at Bibibop, what to order is pretty simple. First, start off with your base of white rice, purple rice (healthier?), or noodles. Second, select a protein which are: chicken, spicy chicken, tofu, steak, or vegetables. Next up, pick toppings such as kale, shredded carrots, cucumbers (cold toppings) AND hot toppings which are bean sprouts, potatoes, and beans. Finally, select a side sauce or two. COST -- $7.99 per bowl (chicken, tofu, and spicy chicken) unless you order steak which currently is $8.49. Vegetable bowls are $6.99. I remember when the chicken bowls were $6.99 but $7.99 isn't a terrible price. When I visited for lunch in mid-May 2020, I ordered a white rice bowl with chicken and filled it with plenty of delicious toppings such as corn, carrots, and Bibibop's newest addition, MOOCHAE (pronounced MOO-CHAY). I can't remember the sauce I selected but I think it was teriyaki and a type of red sauce (see my attached photos). MOOCHAE / Musaengchae () OR Radish Salad -- As of 2020, this is a new side dish or topping that I found to be delicious. They are calling it a quick type of KIMCHI. It is actually a SPICY daikon radish with chili powder. I honestly can't remember how it tasted because I am writing this review a few weeks later; BUT, I did love it. Given the fact that I devoured my lunch within minutes, it is safe to say that I'll be back for more Moochae. If Bibibop is reading this review and needs taste testers for other new recipe ideas, I'll be happy to taste all delicious creations. CONCLUSION -- Until I visit South Korea one day or marry an Asian man who cooks Korean food, Bibibop is a great alternative. I recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner. I visited during the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic when seating indide was closed so I ordered lunch online and picked it up inside. I was there around 11:30 am and as it got closer noon, a line formed of people ordering their meals. Was impressed how quickly the staff prepped everyone's orders. I ordered the build-your-own veggie bowl with the sesame ginger sauce. Really enjoyed it! There are many fresh veggies to choose from for building your bowl. Delicious, affordable, and great service. I've never been to any of their locations before so this was a genuine first experience. The restaurant is clean and has a nice variety of seating. There are tons of unique fountain drink options too. The bowls are well portioned, like good scoops of everything not just rice with little topping. We both got regular size. The rice was just made so extra fresh and good. I was impressed by the flavor in the protein options, like the tofu had flavor without being oily or fried. My husband said the beef was real good too. Thanks BIBIBOP....... you made a 5 year old cry. The previous order was a wreck as well. The ingedients on the bowls were completely screwed up. Screwed up in the manner that seems impossible. Ingedients from one bowl, put on the wrong bowl. Ingredients that were supposssd to be on both bowls, only on one. Premium ingedients.... no sir... not today, we are gonna totally forget those. Thats cool enjoy the extra 3 bucks or whatever.. Even more dissapointing is the super wierd call center experience to try to get a remedy. And the Super long wait on that. BIBIBOP customer service makes Spirit Airlines look like Chick-fil'a. Absolutely terrible. But who am I to complain without offering solutions. So here we go.
