This place popped up on Wilson not too long ago and I've been seeing good reviews about this place so I decided to stop by for dinner. Inside decor is okay, nothing fancy. The actual ordering process was okay as well, I felt little lost in the beginning so I think it would have been nice for them to lead you and help you with the process. Basically, it works very much like Cava, where you have base of either noodle, rice, or salad, then choose your meat (with additional cost) and then have as much of veggies you want in your bowl. I felt little rushed so I didn't get to add all the veggies I want but overall my bowl was very full! I got the spicy shrimp and that took little bit to cook. I think it's great that they cook the meat and seafood per order! It can take a little while though but it tastes better that way in my opinion. read more

This place is really good for a fast food bibimbap place - I definitely like them more than Rice Bar, plus they offer things like futomaki and Korean fried chicken. My only complaint is that I wish they would chop up to tofu a little more! They serve you these big huge blocks of tofu in your bowl, too big to fit in your mouth. Not sure why they don't break them up even a little smaller, it makes for slightly awkward eating. Overall, though, good eating. Lots of toppings options and nothing looks like it's been sitting out too long. read more

Oh wow, such a nice touch in the Courthouse corridor for lunch. Just a short walk from my office. Mind you Korean BBQ is one of my absolute faves. I pretty much kept it simple, had a made to order bowl with steak, with noodles and jasmine rice, and utilized the toppings they use in their Japanese Five senses specialty bowl(kale, zucchini, ginger,edamame green onions and bean sprouts) For my sauce I chose the Teriyaki which is a honey ginger base, so darn tasty. I am pretty much sold on this spot and will definitely add them in my lunch rotation for sure. Want to try their specialty bowls next time. The service was really good, the staff was very pleasant . The food was so good! There are a wide variety of vegetables and toppings for your choosing! I got the bibimix with spicy chicken. Unlike other fast casual places they grill your meet to order! The chicken was very flavorful but I used the wasabi cucumber sauce anyways. The sauce is sooo good and he ingredients are all pretty fresh! The only downside is that this is a new restaurant and it seems like they're still trying to figure things out. Seating is also limited but staff is friendly and the restaurant was clean! read more

The food is really good, both the popcorn chicken and the chicken wings are recommended! The only thing that I hope is that the staff can improve on communication. When I call for a pickup, there is always miscommunication over the phone and hard for them to understand what I want to order. But if I order there in person they always do great. Just moved back to the Northern VA area. Had a craving for some Korean food. Ordered the Veggie Dumplings and Korean Spicy (added shrimp and a fried egg). The bowl was huge and filled with great tasting ingredients. The dumplings were just okay, tasted a bit bland. I had a good meal. We tried it when they first opened but I thought they just had bowls then. It wasnt for us but a couple years later I saw they had dishes I wanted. Bulgogi Kimbap was good. Kimchi pancakes were good. Spicy Tteokbokki was the reason that I ordered and was very saucy and spicy, very good. The wings were delicious, the popcorn chicken was okay. Solid option near me. The make your own bowls are good, and it is a lot of food. I typically have substantial leftovers unless I'm starving. They don't give you that much of any one topping, but there are a lot of toppings, and you can get as many as you want. I get the tofu as an add-on, so this is one of the few places I go meatless. i've has the wings too. They are pricey ($11 for a single order of smallish wings). But they are delicious. They double cook the wings so they are both crispy and sticky. The sides of spicy fries and dumplings that you can choose from with the wings are both pretty good. read more

This place has become a go-to, local spot for my wife and me. We always get the Hot Stone Bibimbap with meat and it consistently delights! (Especially on the cold, windy evening we had yesterday.) To start, the portion is a proper size with fresh, flavorful ingredients. However, all the accompaniments might steal the show! The dipping sauces enhance the experience: the yumyum and cucumber wasabi are good, but the gochujang is phenomenal! We also enjoy the pickled veggies served as sides and the miso soup is heart warming. The service is quick, complete, and friendly. Food is very tasty with large portions. The staff here is extremely polite. We had a hot stone and japchae bowl. I'm a big guy and the japchae filled me up. A nice addition to the neighborhood! Like a Korean-style Chipotle with a ridiculous amount of fresh topping options to boot. The price point was a little higher than I expected for a fast casual restaurant, but I had enough for a second portion to take home after I finished eating so can't complain too much. Ever since they changed the layout to where you can no longer customize your order it's gone down hill. The cashiers never understand simple requests such as having rice instead etc and this is the 3rd time my order was messed up. I paid $18 for a bowl which is up $4 (due to inflation I assume) and is pretty much overpriced at this point but to get no rice with my bulgogi RICE bowl. Unfortunately I took my order to go so I'm just going to have to cut my losses but I will not be coming back any longer. It isn't worth the price nor constantly getting your order wrong and they won't even substitute simple requests such as rice instead of noodles. I do not recommend this place. read more

I love, love, love this place. It's where I go when I want to pretend like I'm eating healthy but really want to pig out. It's fast casual, and you pick your toppings that complete your bowl (essentially unlimited toppings), except that the meat and eggs are made to order. That makes all the difference so get the beef, which they flame grill for you. The beef, kimchi and the yum yum sauce paired together, oh my god, I could live off of that. read more

Great spot to grab a quick lunch/dinner. I've been here several times and have consistently enjoyed the quality of the food! I typically do a build your own bowl where you choose a protein, base and then all the toppings you want. I generally get a salad with chicken and a ton of different toppings (they have many options including onions, seaweed salad, corn, avocado, cucumber, quinoa, just to name a few). Then I top it off with a bit of yum yum sauce. I've also tried the noodles before and they are awesome. Our favorite place to go when we're in the mood for Korean food but don't want to trek all the way out to Annandale. We come here at least twice a week, probably three. Not even an exaggeration, that's how much we love it. They grill your choice of meat on the spot so it's always fresh, and the options for toppings seem to go on forever. I'm hard pressed to think of anything negative to say - the food here tastes great, is fresh and plentiful, and is so worth the cost. We customize our own bowls but I also recommend getting their fried chicken and fries (if you want to indulge). If you want to feel less guilty about indulging, get the fried chicken plain (with sauce on the side) - I think in general, food tastes better when it isn't drenched in sauce. Also get their fries!
