This is our second time at this location. I am glad they open this place up so we don't have to drive to willow glenn anymore to get their pizzas. The two times we came here in the evening, we found parking right away. There is a lot of space inside with many seating. They have multiple tv's around so you can catch the game no matter where u sit without needing to turn around. The staff were very friendly and they did not rush us to leave after closing time the first time we were there. They have a good selection of beer and pricing was on par with other places. We ordered pizza, wings, fries, and pasta. Of course we ordered beers to wash down the food. They offer 6 beer flights which was a good idea since you can try different type of beers. They also have pliny the elder served daily here. The fries were really good. They were crisp and have the right amount of oil. I can just munch on these all day while sitting and watching the game there. We always have to order wings when we see a place that offer wings. The wing sauce was ok and the wings were a little dry. I like my wings tender and juicy. We also ordered some pasta which I forgot to take a picture of. We ordered the hot classic and built our own pasta like the chicken alfredo and creamy truffle ravioli. The pasta has a lot of flavor and I would definitely recommend getting the pasta. The meatballs have good seasoning and the pasta was cooked to perfection. The pizza is the real reason you would come here. The toppings were fresh and flavorful. They did not overdo it with the sauce and the crust is amazing. The crust is thin and isn't dry or crisp. It is soft and if you pick the pizza up wrong, the toppings will fall off. I would fold my pizza in half when i pick it up to keep all the toppings on the pizza. Like I said, the pizza tastes so good. If you have been to Bibo's other locations, you should definitely check this location if you are in the area. They have a good amount of space to accommodate a big group. The price was decent and definitely worth every penny. Cone out and give this place a try if you love pizza, pasta, fries, beer, or just want to find a place to catch a game or hang out with friends and family. Gave this place a try. We do our part to support local restaurants. PROS: $$ Staff very nice and greeted us when we came in. Dinning area was clean and holds about 90 people. Small arcade for the kids. Large flat screen TVs showing sports and not the news. Restroom was clean. We tried the basic Pepperoni pizza. It was better than just ok. It wasn't like wow. This place is conveniently located for us. So now we have options. CONs: The city shut off the entrance off of Snell Avenue so now you can only enter Santa Teresa Blvd. Beer is $10.00. Love me some NY pizza! Bibo's does it justice. They don't have as many toppings/flavor variations as the other location, but it's always pretty solid. One of my favorites is the goat pizza--I do like goat cheese and it's super balanced with the honey. Service is quick and they have really good beers on tap--you can't go wrong with pizza and beer and sports. They have a big TV on the wall, and arcade games, which is nice. read more

I almost feel scammed by this bibo's location. I am a big fan of bibo's willow glen. So I ordered a gluten free pizza at this location, expecting the same kind of pizza as the other location. To my shock, the crust was not the same as willow glen location. The crust at this location felt like one of those you can get at walmart or something. it was also like half the size of the willow glen gluten free pizza. $30 with taxes for this kind of a pizza is a crime. I have been a long time Bibo's fan and was thrilled when they opened their new location in Santa Teresa near where we live, so it really is a bummer to write a mediocre review. In the past ~10 months since they've been opened we've ordered anywhere from 1-2x a month and only about half the time do we get the NY style pizza we've come to love and expect from the Bird location. Attached a comparison photo (ignore cheese vs. pepperoni.) On the right is what I expect. Thin, crispy crust, cheese with a "pebbled" appearance for lack of a better word. As someone who doesn't like too much greasy cheese or heavy soggy pizza, this was always Bibo's biggest selling point for me. On the left is what we regularly get from the Santa Teresa location. Thicker/floppy/soft crust that lacks the crispy crunch, and too much cheese that slides off. At first I thought they were "figuring it out" since I've never once had this happen at the Bird location, but this has continued to happen for almost a year now and it's disappointing to get a sub par pizza half the time. If they can consistently match the quality that Bird produces I will happily update my review but for the time being I think we will start looking for a new pizza place. read more

Pretty sure the wife and I have been to multiple Bibos at this point and none have disappointed. This was no different. This was the first time getting a pasta from them and it was still really good. The vodka sauce that was on there was very tasty and wish I didn't share with the family so I could have had it to myself. The pizza from here is always solid. Never have an issue with it at all. The place itself seems less... pizzaria than others. Not sure if that makes sense but the other ones felt a little more hole in the wall and family owned. We went to Bibo's and got a garlic chicken pizza and added mushrooms. We got our pizza, hopped in the car, and as we were about to leave, an employee, Leonardo came running out. He stopped us and said "Wait, we forgot to add the mushrooms. We're remaking it right now!" They went above and beyond to fix a simple oversight. We went home with 2 amazing pizzas. Now for the pizza... The toppings are abundant. At first I thought they were a little bit lacking up around the crust area. But that allows you to enjoy the crust. It's soft but flaky with an excellent chew. The slices are large but the dough is thin, so you can easily have 2-3 slices. 4 if you're hungry and want to push it! I highly recommend this location. I went here for the first time the other night. The set up of the place was very similar to the pizza joint it replaced. The restaurant is clean, bright, and inviting. The staff is very friendly. I'd say this is similar to a Pizza My Heart but with more things on the menu. They have many premade pizzas available so that you can buy slices or you can order a whole pizza. They also have salads and appetizers. The menu isn't huge. I ordered the meatballs and they were delicious! I highly recommend them. My friend ordered a slice of pizza and he said it was good. We had dinner here last night. We had such a nice lunch here 4 days ago that we thought we'd try it for dinner. Unfortunately, it was the complete opposite experience as our first one. Mind you, it was Friday evening. It was extremely busy and very noisy. Lots of little kids not being watched by their parents. It was a very unpleasant atmosphere to enjoy a nice dinner. That, of course, is not the fault of the restaurant, and kids will be kids. Just giving a warning to those who like peaceful meals. This is not the place for you on a busy Friday night. We placed our order at the front and found a place to sit. This time, we ordered the hot classic pasta, which is spaghetti, spicy marinara, a meatball, calabrese pepper, and basil. I ordered the farm green salad and fettuccine with the mushroom and truffle sauce with chicken and arugula. The hot classic pasta was okay except for the meatball. The texture of the meatballs was so bad that my husband couldn't eat them. I tried and had to spit them out in my napkin. It had hard-dried up pieces of ground meat in it and crumbled in your mouth. It was not moist or soft like the previous time we were here and ordered it on our pizza. It was horrible. The mushroom and truffle fettuccine was also terrible. The sauce was very watered down and had zero truffle flavor. It reminded me of watered-down jarred Alfredo sauce. There were also a lot of pieces of peppercorn. I would not order this again. What a letdown. The farm green salad was just meh. For $8.95, it was very plain and a very small portion. The description said shaved vegetables, pumpkin seeds, and balsamic vinaigrette. The only thing they were accurate about that description was the pumpkin seeds. What they claimed as shaved vegetables was one long, thin strip of a yellow carrot curled up, and that was it. The dressing did not taste much like balsamic vinegar at all. It tasted more like red wine vinegar because it was so tart and strong. I let one of the employees know about the meatball. She didn't seem to care and didn't offer to fix it. Then I went up to the register and told them that I did not care for the mushroom truffle pasta and asked if I could just have plain pasta with butter and Parmesan. The manager/owner was close by and heard me. He said it would be no problem for them to make me another pasta dish. So I really appreciated that. The plain pasta with butter and Parmesan was delicious. We will come back, but I will just be ordering the pizza. I believe the pizza is the best thing they have. read more

This was the first time at this location. It's a decent size location with a play area for the kids or kids at heart. We had a pretty large group and the food come out quickly. The service was pretty good as well, since they came to collect empty pizza trays and buffalo wing baskets. Their garlic in olive oil wings were delicious!! The only thing I didn't like was having to go to the register everytime for refills on soda. There was a pitcher of water on the table, not for sodas. Again, we had a larger group of people, so every few minutes someone was waiting at the counter just for refillable soda. Saw a new pizza place opened and decided to give it a try because NY pizza. We ordered a large combo pizza. When we arrived for pick up we saw a good sized box and had high hopes for a new pizza option. We got back to my friends place in a few minutes and the pizza was still piping hot. Picked up a slice and it was limp/soggy. Once I started eating it, I wasn't impressed as it's supposed to by NY style, but the flavors weren't there and the crust lacked flavor and crisp. I understand when the part where the toppings, cheese and sauce is limp, but a soft crust just doesn't do it. Perhaps if this was just a pizza place my expectations would have been different. If I just wanted to grab a few slices, then Bibo is a good spot. The pizza slice prices range from $5 to $7. I like the New York style thin crust. Getting slices is the best deal here in my opinion. The goat cheese and honey was my favorite. The miss was the pasta. My family got some pasta dishes and honestly, they lacked flavor. They just opened up, so maybe it is just the growing pains. When I opened it, I was pleased that it was correct & they gave skinny crust, which my husband loves. The place is spacious and had a good amount of customers in it. This is always a good sign. Glad to see a closer location to us for Bibos! I've only had the cauliflower crust but finally got to try their regular pizza dough. Got a combo to go. Called in an order and it was ready within 15 min. Decent amount of toppings, sausage is shaved so don't expect whole chunks of meat. XL is probably good for 3 people or 2 people and a few slices leftover for the next day. I was also in the South side of San Jose so thankful I didn't need to head towards Willow Glenn. Right away, you can tell this location is bigger. There's plenty of parking and a lot more seating, which makes it feel less crowded and more comfortable. I called in my order and grabbed a large pie, half Margherita and half veggie (Friday during Lent). The pizza was solid and very comparable to their Willow Glen location. Same thin, foldable slices and that classic New York style feel. If you're craving legit NY-style pizza in the area, this is a really great option. read more

My family was so excited to see a Bibo's Pizza and Pasta open up in the South San Jose. There is plenty of parking in the small plaza, but it can get busy during the weekdays, since it is across the street from Santa Teresa High School. I ordered a combo slice, and it came out fairly quickly. The pizza had a very thin crust, but it was still really good. My husband ordered a build your own pasta, and he really enjoyed it. There was plenty of chicken and sun dried tomatoes mixed with his fettuccine. We also ordered the spicy Italian, which was very good. I actually prefer the spicy Italian over the combination. Went tonight and absolutely loved it. Even though there was a constant line of customers, there was just enough seating so that no one had to wait for a table. The pizza was DELICIOUS. First time here. Used to be Round Table Pizza but they had to close down. So the new place Bibo's Pizza is the new merchant on the block. The pizza was delish. Slices and whole pies are avalable. Location is the same South San Jose across from Santa Teresa Highschool. Easy to get to & plenty of parking and public transportation available. Across from a big Nob Hill store and other types of businesses in the corner lot where it is located. Met the counter help Leticia and she was great on the explanation of the menu and prices and types of pizza's available. I tried the Spicy Italian and the Combo. The crust was thin and the slices were big. I could slice it in half and made 2 slices. Prices were ok. It's not a Little Ceasar's or Domino's. Inside was nice and clean. Bibo's is my family's weekly destination after a day of golfing. The pizza is great, the wings are always a go to for us, the draft selection is good, BUT I want to right this review for the staff. The staff is always so kind and respectful but we wanted to shoutout TONY for having amazing customer service. Whenever we walk in he greets us as regulars, remembers our order (pesto pizza with ricotta), when he is on shift the place is always clean, he is very attentive to whatever we need or ask for. Tony you are an exemplary employee and my family appreciates you! If I could voice one thing to management, I think allowing your patrons to order pitchers of beer instead of individual glasses would make for a better customer experience. I am a thick crust pizza person and am very surprised that I absolutely LOVE Bibo's pizza!!!!! We have picked up pizzas from them a number of times now, each time really better than the last. Hubby gets a Veggi or Margherita, excellent!!!! I always get the Pepperoni, sometimes with mushrooms and onion. The crust is beyond good, it is heavenly, just right, soft and chewy with a bit of crunch on the crust ends. Ordered extra cheese once, but truthfully it was overkill, they put just the right amount of cheese on their pizza. Their pizza's are HUGE, slices are so big one is almost enough for a full meal. We order the full pizza (for our family) and always have enough for at least one extra meal. Service is wonderful, fast and efficient. Lots of room inside to eat if you like, very clean. We have many good choices for pizza near us, Bibo's has been added to our top 10. read more

This place just opened down the street from my house, so I've already been here 3 times. You can't beat the price and taste of their pizza slices. The GOAT pizza is just amazing. Super flavorful and the hot honey on top makes it so good. My husband loves the spicy Italian. The French fries might just be some of the best fries I've ever had. I prefer the plain sea salt over the others. The others cost more and tbh I didn't care for the truffle flavor. The sea salt ones are perfectly crispy and delish. I also ordered the Arancini and they were delish! Very rich, truffley, crispy, creamy - all of the above! I recently tried their chicken wings and they were a miss for me. Kinda skimpy small wings, not a lot of meat on them. Lastly were the cannolis, which were alright. Although I'm not a huge cannoli person. I'd love if they had more dessert options! Ordered a Hawaiian pizza from the location at Santa Teresa and Snell ( and yes I know, pineapple on pizza ) on Saturday night. However, it was without doubt the WORST pizza I've had in a long time. For $35 I got an undercooked, piece of dough that had so few toppings I could count them on one hand. Called to complain, and to their credit they did offer to "remake it", but I was not going to wait another 30 minutes an the have to drive over to get it.. You would think that with the ridiculous construction limiting their access, they would be doing everything possible to stay in business. My friends and I tried this new Bibo's location and we had a great experience! Coming on a weeknight at 7:30pm it was pretty empty inside but the restaurant was very clean and the ambiance was nice. The service was amazing! The gentleman that helped us was very attentive and friendly. We ordered the cheese ravioli in truffle cream sauce, a slice of the goat pizza, the vodka rigatoni and a whole pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Everything came out hot and delicious! This alone would draw me back to eat here. He let me know what they had left since they were so close to closing, I opted for pasta & asked if the mushroom truffle sauce was good, he said it was and offered other recommendations, took my order and was genuinely kind. I got my order, the cheese ravioli with truffle mushroom sauce, it was piping hot, which I loved, and was plated on a beautiful dish with garnish. It's the small details that matter. The sauce was rich and delicious, the pasta tasted like the cooks actually care about what they're serving their guests.
