Mmmmmmmmm, still eating my slice of 1/2 veggie 1/2 cheese pizza. It was absolutely delicious. The spaghetti was great too. I can't wait for the boys to get home from a hard day of work to eat the rest of their pizza. Thank you Tony! Can't wait to try my tiramisu.

Tried Tony Di Maggio's for the first time. Food On the table, there are small condiment jars of red pepper and parmesan cheese. When I asked for a side of ranch, I was told it was an extra $2.00. The menu didn't list any prices, which made ordering a bit awkward since we weren't sure what the total cost would be. Medium Combination Pizza The combo pizza had a nice balance of toppings with a perfectly crisp crust, sliced mushrooms, green bell peppers, and cheese. Large 14" Stromboli The Stromboli was huge, served on a pizza pan, and pizza spatula that is stuffed with ham, cheese, and topped with marinara sauce. Everything came out hot and fresh. Surprisingly, between the two, the combination pizza had more seasoning and flavor. Customer Service I tried to flag down an employee to ask for napkins and he completely ignored me - terrible customer service. However, he was mingling with another table. When he saw a $10 tip was left on the table after my dining experience, he quickly rushed over to greet me goodbye and grab the tip. Please coach and train your staff to provide better service. Took off an additional star because of this experience. Ambiance Old-fashioned pizza spot filled with photos and memorabilia honoring the owners and local sports teams. There are 4-6 seat table tops inside and a few baby high chairs. The only downside while dining in, there were occasional gusts of cigarette smoke that made the experience unpleasant. Location Located in the El Rancho Center strip plaza with Kent's Hair & Nails, A&L Spa, and Planet Vape.

Some true comfort food, always come by to get a real Stromboli

Stromboli is the best around and if you like cheese don't forget to add it on your garlic bread

Medium stromboli with parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes sprinkled on.

Yes, they reopened! I love their stromboli, offered in both medium and large sizes. Pictured is the medium. I also like their pizza and pasta.

Sorry. I know they were out of commission for a year but we tried this old favorite years later. It was not memorable. I wanted to like it. Trust me. It's a cashier service meaning you order at the front and they bring it to you. The red flag was no hard menus just a board with no prices. I didn't want to ruin the moment so a small individual Stromboli (they are known for it) and large two topping. 45 + 10 tip (hey no waiters here...) so $55. See pics. Both tomato sauces were light not rich and robust of before. The crusts on both were really good but the sausage - I mean store bought and cut Jimmy Dean. Shame on yall. The cheese melted weird and it was just an average pie at best. Stromboli was eh. Homemade ham and cheese hot pocket. Hate to beat up a local favorite but had to call them out. The manager/owner was cool but didn't seem to want to be there. Wanted to like this place but moving on....

THEIR FINALLY OPEN !! After 11 long months!! If you guys don't want disappointment come here THERE AMAZING !! My favorite place in San Jose MEATBALLS ARE JUST PERFECT !! Stamboli hands down the best ! San Jose's top food spots !!

    Rigatoni dinner

STRICT VEGETARIANS: read to the end. Excellent home-style restaurant that hits the spot! I'm usually a fan of deep-dish/pan, but the pizza here -- despite being close to NY style crust (which I usually dislike) -- was delicious: thanks to fresh veggie toppings, sweetish sauce and a stringy melted cheese in the right ratios. Each slice is so weighed down with toppings that you need to eat the bottom of each slice with a fork and knife first (difficult to carry without it falling apart!) - you can lift a slice only after finishing the bottom half. The rigatoni and garlic bread were delicious, but I did see some morsels of sausage in my sauce, despite having ordered fully vegetarian. Maybe the pan they prepare it in wasn't fully clean. So, strict vegetarians - beware! Docking two stars for this. Service was speedy and with a smile. What a joy to see the legendary grandma out in the kitchen too :-) I'd definitely come again, but advise the owners to ensure they start with a fresh pan on vegetarian orders of pasta - or they risk losing customers. Meat cross-contamination, in this day and age, isn't very common at restaurants in this category - so this was disappointing. Otherwise, this would've been a 5-star visit.

    STROMBOLI - MEDIUM

Service was quick, pricing was ok, the ambience is mellow but it has an authentic feel to the restaurant. Mid size dining room. I ordered garlic bread and Stromboli pricing came out to $21 which is fair. The garlic bread tastes of only garlic which makes sense lol ... but it could use some kind of herbs. The Stromboli itself was mid.. nothing that stood out flavorwise.

Peroni beer - refreshing and pairs well with the flavorful Stromboli!

Quality of food! The toppings were sparse. The pasta was over cooked. The sauce was awful & the meat was "spoiled". We all got sick.

Did the portion get smaller here, or is it just me?

It's not just you, I noticed that as well. They had a new location open downtown San Jose... I don't know if it's still open or not but I'm sure that's helping offset the cost by downsizing the portions

Slice of New York? How about slice of heaven!…read more I remember my first trip to New York City and my slice of authentic New York pizza. Honestly it wasn't that good. The famous "slice" was underwhelming. So imagine my surprise when I heard rave reviews of Slice of New York on Stevens Creek in San Jose. I had to try it for myself. The service is attentive. The staff make sure you understand what you can order and very carefully take down your order and name. This is reassuring if you've ever had a wrong pizza order. No chance of that here. I ordered a large half pepperoni half mushroom olive to go and a slice of pepperoni while I waited. The slice was impeccable. Large enough to fold over like I was taught in New York City, unlike the slice I had in NYC, this one's tip didn't flop. Perfect! Next came the first bite. Hot, crispy, the perfect amount of sweet tangy pizza sauce, and the great chewy mozzarella. Hot all the way through. All fresh. All perfect. If you want better than the authentic thin crust New York City style pizza, whether a slice or a whole pizza, Slice of New York on Stevens Creek in San Jose is the place to go. When you walk in expect a line. This is ok because it gives you time to see ehat pies are zcsikbsly for slices. Don't worry if you don't see pepperoni, or cheese. Those are always available in the cabinet below the glass display. Get a black t-shirt. The design is retro-perfect.

As other reviews have mentioned the biggest problem is it's a little too thin around the middle. But the fluffy chewy crust is very enjoyable. I highly recommend the Bianca. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and we were able to be seated without a reservation. The vibe is really casual, and we saw lots of people in big groups. The service and food were okay but nothing really stood out. Our pizza had a good amount of cheese, but the middle was so thin that it basically disintegrated as we picked up each slice. The gnocchi was pretty doughy and bland, but the salad on top was really good and saves the dish. We also got 2 sodas by the staffs' recommendation and one of them wasn't even carbonated , which in my opinion, is the whole point of a soda. I wouldn't come back again and I think there are much better restaurants in the area

However, after the incident, observation and order of food I received on 6/13/26, I cannot support this location. As mentioned we always had a pleasant experience at this location, with great service and great food. But this day the entire staff was off, and it was mainly due to the negative, micromanaging and rude manager/owner Partika. From the moment I walked in the establishment the vibe seemed completely off than what I was use to from past visits. It was scorching hot inside and the employees looked miserable. I quickly figured out why, as I placed my order with the gentleman upfront who was doing a great job, and here comes Partika hovering over him and reaching over him re-asking my order, although the employee had already entered it in and was simply trying to ask if I wanted to add anything else. Once done and paid, she then moves to the back counter and begins to holler over to the employees in the back about hurrying up with tickets, although they weren't very busy. I stood to the side as I had ordered a slice to grab now for my child, and then a full pizza and wings to go. Upon waiting, Partika approaches and tells me to sit down. I looked at her and told her it was not her discretion and I would await the slice to come right out as I already discussed with the employee. Once I obtain the slice i exit and wait in my vehicle in front of establishment. Out comes Partika harassing two men who had just finished up their pizza when I originally walked in and were still sitting at one of the table now having a refreshment from the adjoining establishment. She told them they could not sit at the tables they were reserved for her customers, and they told her they had just ate there and she begin to argue that now they had to move . Be advised there were many tables outside that any guest could choose from and her establishment was far from busy. Once my order was ready, I went back inside , and again she was arguing with another customer who stated the pizza she attempted to hand her was not hers if she could double check. Her rude comment was yes this is yours and the customer explained no her receipt clearly showed this was not her order. The gentleman apologized for the entire ordeal I had experienced and seen and gave me my order , in which I asked who she was and her name for reference. She then bolted towards me asking what the problem in which I told her the issue is she is very rude to very customer I had seen her interact with in the last 20 minutes. Fast forward to arriving home to now enjoy pizza and wings with my family. Open the box and the cheese is stuck to the top bc they failed to properly package it to avoid this mishap. Furthermore several of the winds were undercooked which could have created severe illness. I blame her presence, bad attitude and rushing her staff for these issues. I love the Tony Gemignani pizza brand but this Slice House in Mountain View has a terrible manager/ owner Partika who needs better customer service skills as well as management skills. I much rather have spent $100 with an establishment who had good customer interaction and treated their staff with respect.
