I went with a large garlic parmesan chicken pizza. Service was prompt and it was super busy there so good thing I called ahead. I didn't realize how popular this spot was. My friend recommended me to come to this pizza place down in San Jose. The inside looks like a place that you would go to eat some pizza. Honestly expected to be some silverware on it, but that's ok. Also, the pizza looks appetizing. It's good though but I wouldn't say that it's the best out there. Ok High Five Pizza came up when I was watching some YT video on the best pizzas in San Jose. Of course I was craving pizza after so we went to check out High Five which came up on the list. If you're a fan of toppings, they do not skimp here! Got the All American which is their version of combo but there's so much more than just the standard pepperoni and vegetables. You get pepperoni, sausage, ground Beef, canadian bacon, salami, mushrooms, olives, bell peppers, onions and linguica. SO GOOD. The crust is thinner than I'd prefer but I'm also a bread person. Overall, great pizza and a medium should be perfect for two people. They slice their pizzas thin so you need 2 slices to make a regular slice. We were recommended by a friend to try High Five Pizza. We ended up ordering takeout. They have a special, "Every 3rd Wednesday of the Month Prime Rib Dinner Special". Dinner includes a baked potato with bacon, sour cream, chives, and butter, garlic bread and a small salad (4/5). A nice cut of prime rib with a seasoned crust. We asked for rare but by the time it arrived, it was medium. Still a good tasting prime rib. 3-Item Topping Pizza with salami, pepperoni, & mushroom. Great afternoon to visit High Five to watch baseball and NCAA ball! The restaurant was packed with a lunch crowd which made it exciting for all to enjoy. A few of the tables needed to be cleaned but it was a tad busy. The bar was popping and the ambiance was cheerful. We ordered a hot link sandwich which was good but lacked flavor. They have great BBQ on Wednesday nights BUT, this past week they must have been so busy they DOUBLE charged me and didn't even reverse the charge after speaking to a manager on the phone. The young lady at the register (with lashes, all I can remember) charged me for items that I didn't even order. Inside is what you expect for a pizza place. Spacious, clean, and they have TV's playing sports stuff. Service was pleasant and efficient. Food was ready quickly. They have outside seating, which I appreciate, but they have the sports stuff turned up really loud outside. Presumably to drown out car noises. But had to shout at times to have a conversation in order to be heard over the radio. I'm sure it's much louder outside when it's busy (radio + parking lot & street traffic + other patrons). I had a personal size cheese pizza (I like to keep it basic), cooked crispy. They did a perfect job of cooking it just well enough to have a crispness to it without burning it. Cheese to sauce to crust ratio was ideal. Ingredients tasted like they were good quality. It was a deal at $6.50 as the size seemed slightly larger than I expected for a personal pizza. I could only eat half so I got two delicious meals out of it. Dad had a pepperoni pizza, size small, which was also a tremendous value for the size. His was cooked crisp as well, and the pepperoni had that nice cup shape. He said his was very good and put it on par with The Garrett Station on Winchester (his favorite pizza place, which I have not tried so I can't confirm his claim). But he had zero complaints and seemed eager to return to try some other items. Which is saying a lot because he's super picky and critical.
