I wish I could leave zero stars... The experience at Biener Ford that I received was nothing short of total disregard for customer service and just common decency. Purchased a used vehicle from them the first week of June. Upon inspecting the vehicle at pick up, I mentioned that the tire pressure light was on. I was told by my salesman, Kit and the manager Ali, that they would take care of it immediately. So, into the shop it went and they had the tire plugged. Needless to say, the plug was ineffective and continued to leak air for 3 1/2 weeks. 3 1/2 weeks to solve a tire issue. I called numerous times, texted numerous times, and upon speaking to the "manage Ali" was told to bring it in for a new tire.... 3 separate times to Great Neck for a tire issue. Pathetic! But spending $16+K on a car, I felt that this shouldn't be an issue for me. Driving around with a tire compressor in my vehicle to continually put air in this tire for over 3 weeks, really?! When complaining to the manager Ali for the last time, his response to me was, and I quote, "well, this IS a used vehicle after all" WTF??? It was noticed prior to the used vehicle leaving your lot!!! I could go on and on about the total lack of respect, customer service, and ability to resolve my issue, but this review would be pages long. End result, I had to contact the GM of new sales, Mr. Pizzo. He was appalled when I told him of the situation. Within 1 day, he, as promised, reimbursed me for the cost of a new tire. Which, by the way, I had to get at a tire shop by my home because Ali, the manager, was unable to get this particular tire for over 3 1/2 weeks. I called the tire center, and the gentleman had it within 2 hours of my call. Maybe Biener Ford used car department should look into a new tire center if it takes them several weeks to get a tire from the company they currently use. Tried to tell me "covid" pandemic is stalling the delivery of tires. Lie after lie after lie. Will never go there again. Recommend you do the same. Go anywhere else.... read more

I'd like to start this review by saying that from the time I leased my vehicle at Tower Ford in 2017 up until I had to turn it in my experience has been exceptional. The transition from Tower to Biener did not leave me disappointed until the very end. From the moment I walked into the dealership three years ago and signed my lease, I was very impressed with the warmth and professionalism shown. Every experience I have had with both sales and service has been excellent. Unfortunately when it came time to return my vehicle I was sorely disappointed. I had made an appointment with their associate who deals specifically with lease returns. Upon my timely arrival I was informed that she was running late. Of course, these things happen and I do understand. However, while waiting I observed her arriving, being informed that I was there for my appointment, and ignoring me while she chatted on her cell and made various other stops throughout the dealership. I was then informed that I needed to go out to my vehicle in the pouring rain to self report the mileage for them to record. I did so, but just today I received a letter from Ford Credit that no "completed odometer disclosure" was submitted from the dealership and that I would have to sign an affidavit verifying the dashboard mileage at the time of return. Had she made an effort to do so as I'm sure her job requires this would not be an issue. Her rude and dismissive attitude really set the tone that up until this point did not exist. I'm sadly disappointed that after three years of dealing with Ford this is the case. I've had nothing but wonderful experiences with both Tower and Biener Ford up until my lease return, I sincerely hope that others do not have the same end experience that I did. read more

so disappointed at Biener Ford. I came in yesterday to get both of my headlights replaced. I was told only one was in stock and the other would be ordered for next day install. I have all of my information and schedule an appointment. When I arrived the following day, I was told that I wasn't in the system. I gave all of my information again. Chris, the assistant manager then proceed to tell me that they are going to run a full diagnostic on my car to determine the problem to which I said why run diagnostics when I just need new headlights. His response of this is hiw we do I didn't work for me so I spoke Luke, the manager. Luke at least said they can do the light bulbs without a full diagnostic but then when Chris called the parts department, we found out the parts weren't ordered!!! Chris also told me to go to Ace Hardware store. Such a poor way to treat a loyal Ford customer. Moral of the story is don't bother with Biener Ford, just go straight to a parts department store and work it out yourself. read more

I visited Biener Ford's Pre owned department on 09/10/21 to see a 2018 ram promaster city van they had advertised on Car Guru. I was shown the van by Tevin Casiano. The van checked out all good and after a short negotiation we arrived at a price and I decided to purchase it. I left a deposit and thought it strange that all I received was a credit card receipt. Tevin told me an invoice would be e-mailed on the following Monday. Monday came and the invoice showed a price that was nearly $2000.00 more than the quoted price and the $500.00 deposit was not on the invoice either. I contacted the salesman and he would not discuss the invoice but referred me to the sales manager. Manager explained the extra fee was a pre owned car prep fee which was never mentioned by the salesman. Despite all this my management decided to proceed with the purchase. After ten days of repeated calls and e-mails I was told they sold the van despite the fact I left a deposit. Bottom line is beware of Biener Auto group , Ford preowned in particular. We purchased a vehicle (2017 Audi) from Biener Ford in Great Neck, NY. We received the most negative experience we have ever had with purchasing a vehicle. Sales boy Ali was obviously in a hurry, and gave us no information about the vehicle-when we asked questions, it seemed to be an inconvenience to him, also he gave no explanation about the financial breakdown...we had to ask.....and again, he seemed so inconvenienced. Unfortunately, my daughter was in love with this car, so we went through with the purchase, but I would NOT RECOMMEND this dealership or sales boy Ali to anyone! Sales boy Ali added insurance to my daughter's policy before we even got the chance to ask what the interest rate was, what the payment would be, and what type of warranty does the car have??? He asked for the personal log in information on our Geico account and said he could save us money. So now, we feel compelled to change the password, as sales boy Ali has full access to our personal information and has clearly proved to us that he is not trust worthy! What professional asks for your password to access your accounts??? This is not professional and is very concerning. Details about the product and the financial breakdown are important to people who earn their money in an honest way. Ali came up with a $1,000 fee for PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) we all know this is an 'extra fee for his pocket'. Oh, but Ali was able to do us a 'favor' by lowering the PDI to $695. He was annoyed and defensive when we asked what tax rate he was charging us, as it was 3% higher than it should have been. Absolutely, a disappointing experience for something that should have been a positive one! It must have been a disappointing sale to him as well, since he was pounding on the keyboard to relay some type of message about him not being happy???? I asked to speak with the owner/operator or the dealership manager, but sales boy Ali told us that he was the only manager! Horrible experience. My first appointment here, staff had told me it would be about an hour wait, and I waited 3 hours. I didn't complain and was nice enough to thank them anyway. Then I placed an order for a part with Biener, in February. I was told they would contact me when it arrived. It's now October 22nd (8 months later) and no one ever contacted me, and I see my credit card was charged anyway. Customer rep said they accidentally marked the order as completed, then when I spoke to the manager, he refused to give me a refund. Shame on me for being fooled twice. Buyer Beware !!, I posted an honest review about a very poor experience at Biener Ford on 3/10/20 and the review mysteriously DISAPPEARED!!,.... BEWARE of the surprise hidden dealer fees. I was told on the phone by the salesman that there was ONLY $75 doc fee + sales price + registration and tax...NOT THE CASE, a few thousand $$ dollars suddenly appeared added to the price after a few hours of doing paperwork, getting insurance, etc.... Dishonest tactics i experienced to increase the bottom line for the dealership. The salesman told me clearly over the phone there were no additional dealer fees on used cars outside of tax, reg,and $75 doc fee...to come to the dealership to see the minivan --NOT the actual case., why wasn't he honest on the phone ??, wasted couple hours in the dealership !, never was given a TOTAL price until sitting in the finance office, and was SURPRISED how the total price increased, The finance person said his salesmen would not know about these added dealer fees !! ??? couldn't believe what he was saying to cover up the surprised price increase of a couple thousand dollars. He refused to honor the total price WITHOUT the surprise added dealer fees. Waste of time, energy and money to go through all that to just end up walking out and then cancelling the insurance for the minivan. I will re-post the follow up that happened the following day 3/11/20 also when the dealership called me and asked i can come back to the dealership to speak with the Dealership Manager personally to "fix" the miscommunication over the sale. I bought a pre-owned vehicle from this location. Was told by a salesman over the phone that the price of the vehicle was negotiable. Not only was that not true, but I was misquoted on the price when fees were added on to the final cost. I was told that the vehicle was ready to be picked up in the morning but upon my arrival, it was not, therefore causing me to make a second trip later that day to retrieve the vehicle. The vehicle was missing a wheel center cap and a cap for the radiator reservoir. I was told that the parts were ordered and would be mailed to me. Now seven weeks later, no parts and no return calls from the salesman to rectify this issue. Overall a very poor experience from a fast talking, dishonest, stereotypical car salesman. When I told this salesman that I had read numerous poor reviews for their sales department, his response was, "You can't please everyone". They tried to charge me $3500 for a "detailed cleaning" and when the salesmen dropped off the car he said it still needs more cleaning because they "didn't have enough people on hand at the time." which prompted me to go back 60 miles to the dealership the next day to renegotiate the price. They also pushed a warranty on me that I cancelled the next day because they mislead me on the price making me think it was $1200 when infact it was $3700 and when i called Audi pure protection i was informed that the contract never existed but they still charged me $3700 which i assume the less than ethical finance manager pocketed which I now have to spend hours trying to get back. Never buy from this dealership unless you really know how not to get screwed over. They will try every tactic to charge you extra fees and make it seem like that happens everywhere. BE CAREFUL if you shop for a car here they are NOT honest in the least. Never buying a car here again. read more

Run as fast as you can from this dealer ship!!!! The used car manager plays games, lies and will try every dirty trick in the book to rip you off. I went there to buy a truck they just got in. I had gotten the salesperson Kit who is new and clueless. Ali the manager runs him around like an errend boy. The price on their web site show's the price with no asterisks, notes or mention of that you MUST finance with the dealer to get the listed price.Nothing in tiny print on web site anywhere mentions it or anything about a $995.00 dealer prep fee. I told Ali from the beginning i applied at my bank for a loan, he told me he works with them and could beat rate on web site. I told him what my fico score was also. The minuet we wanted the car the whole story changed. Now there was a $995. non negotiable fee on top of price of truck and must finance through them for price. They forced me quickly to sign credit app which I told him several times NOT to run a report on me. He said needed app to pull up my banks approval of my application I did. Then suddenly I have to leave a $500 deposit to cover the $100 deposit we agreed upon plus DMV fees. He refused to explain $400 in DMV Fees. Then my credit report came back poor, and my fico score was way lower then i said.(I have paperwork from my bank showing my score is what i told him) and my bank wanted $5000 down to do any loan through them.(meanwhile I was approved for full price plus tax already from my bank) Ali then says only his bank with approve loan at Double the rate my bank approved me for!! He said my payment would be "around" X dollars--$60 a month more then my bank! And you know if I went through the amount would have been even higher at the end. He refused to sell me the truck unless I agreed to finance through him and the additional fees. He refused to even give me a receipt for the $500 deposit I left or any Buyers sheet showing the cost of truck and taxes less my deposit. Only after I asked him 5 times and got loud the last time would he give me a receipt--that still didnt show I left a $500 deposit. He kept saying billing does that after all loan paperwork is signed and insurance transfered over to new vehicle!! That i would get that at end of deal on saturday. (so no idea of total price & fees until I'm stuck! By law he has to disclose costs before hand-which he refuses to do) It took a week of fighting to get my deposit back, oh they charged my card a second time for the $500 putting my account in overdrawn!! The story was now they couldn't refund me on saturday because billing was closed!! But they were magically open on saturday if i went through with his rip off deal! Ali is the person that gives car sales people the bad rep that they have. He is only concerned with ripping off every person that walks in the door. He is teaching is young salespeople all the wrong ways of doing business!! This wasn't my first time buying a car so I new all his stories and games were BS, My only problem was wife loved used vehicle and hated to lose out on it. But no deal is better then a horrible one. I see I'm not the only one on here to have a similar bad experience with Ali the used car manager and this dealer ship. He has no regard for the customer-he treats all like garbage!! I absolutely would not recommend this dealership if pursuing one of their used inventory; new may be a different story. Avoid "Ali" (maybe incorrect spelling), the sales manager (or finance manager). The fees this dealer tacks on to a agreed sales price are astronomical, and they wouldn't show me a contract or breakdown (fishy! I uploaded a screenshot on their facebook page if you're interested). I got the fees via text message and I questioned a few (such as title and registration because I'm out of state and was shipping the car) and I was told I was required to register and insure the car or they couldn't sell it. Mind you, it was only a $34k car, a cash sale so no financing, and I had a transport company lined up to deliver it to my door. This dealer makes their margin by tacking on BS fees like a $1295 pre-delivery inspection fee; doc fees were even $890 which is upper end for sure. Subsequently I walked on the deal because I just can't trust a dealer like that. Plus, the car had been on cargurus for 129 days with a lot of price drops so no idea what was going on to cause this gorgeous SRT 392 Challenger to not be sold. I hope they finally sell it and the buyer is happy with a special car but that person won't be me! Fees are fine but being dishonest (Ali - sales manager) is not fine. I feel bad for the poor sales guy (Tevin) who I could tell in his voice knew this wouldn't fly and that it was dishonest. read more
