Then I was referred to Matt at Great Neck Collision for a 2nd estimate. His estimate was half the price of my guys and said he could do it in 1 to 2 days rather than the 6 that my guys said. I was very wary but was assured that with photos, parts, and phone calls I would be involved in every step. And he mentioned that his father owned the same business for 22 years and both their reputations stand behind their work. Reluctantly I agreed to let him do the repair. WOW! What a great find. Matt followed through completely and exactly. He explained, reassured and fixed everything with super quality and concern. My car looks great and I've got a new standard for repair shops. NO NONSENSE BODY SHOP! Got a nice little surprise when I came back to my car recently after getting a manicure. Someone sideswiped my car leaving behind a nasty scratch and front bumper off bracket on one side. On a whim hubby looked up Great Neck Collision since it's down the block from home. We took car on Monday (Columbus Day). The front desk receptionist was very friendly and got someone to help us right away. They immediately gave us a reasonable estimate and said it would be done in one day. We sure enough received a call the next day that car was done. We picked it up after work and couldn't be happier. My car looks like nothing ever happened. I can't recommend this shop enough. They were professional and very reasonably priced. As much as I hated getting my car damaged I'm glad we found a shop super close to home that did an amazing job fixing every car owners nightmare. read more

I recently bought a brand new BMW x5 and within one month I was hit by a driver that wasn't watching where they are going. Damaged a large portion of the passengers side. Being an engineer, I tend to be hyper critical of anyone's work. These guys brought the car back to show room condition with virtually no fuss on my part. They dealt directly with the insurance company on the estimates, arranged a loaner car for me, and stayed in constant contact with me by phone and email. They gave me an estimated start date and completion time frame and stuck to it. Matt was incredible through the whole process. What vendor do you know that not only responds to emails, but does so on a timely basis. This made all the difference. BTW, This isn't one of those shops that has a hundred cars out front in various states of disrepair while you car sits out getting soaked in the rain. They treat your car like it was their own.
