I just bought a car in New Jersey and needed it inspected in New York. Instead of going to a Porsche dealer, none of which was local, based on Yelp reviews and others I had read online, I thought I'd give Great Neck Auto-Tech a try. Long story short: Couldn't have been nicer, quicker, more efficient. I don't know them from Adam, never went there before and, frankly, this was the only thing I had them do. My car is new so its under warranty from the manufacturer, but based on my experience I wouldn't hesitate to try them for things like wheel/tire swaps, extra oil changes, etc. I just wanted to add to the positive reviews and tell people if they're looking for an independent shop to give this business a try. read more

I will never return to this place again. I heard such good things and it was so promising until I realized how disgusting the costumer service was. One in particular person really had me beside myself. Now, I am usually not one to bash or shame anyone especially based off appearance.. or physical differences.. but I will say this only to make it well known who I am speaking of. There was a boy who helped me.. a young boy I would say in his mid twenties very tall and he seemed to have had severe plaque psoriasis all over his neck. As i already mentioned, THAT didn't bother me but it was his nasty attitude that turned me off completely from this place. Every simple question I asked I received a very condescending attitude. Even down to "what time do you open". He made me so uncomfortable I wanted to walk out right then and there. I've never met such a miserable person in my life. Someone like that should be fired immediately. I'm not sure if his boss knows just how rude he is to costumers but it needs to be known. It was the kind of attitude where it seems to be obvious that this person has some serious personal problem that he seems to be taking out on strangers. It's not my fault that he appeared to be breaking out in hives on his face, neck, chest, breast, and head. I recommend aloe and maybe a Xanax I don't know what the hell this idiots problem was. read more
