We stopped by Utah Home Fitness to rent ElliptiGOs actually, a sort of bicycle meets elliptical machine invention. We rent them for four hours through a Groupon and actually had a lot of fun riding them. It was a little difficult to get used to at first, but after awhile the ElliptiGOs were great fun. If you haven't seen one in action, Google it. If you need equipment for your home gym, Utah Home Fitness seems like the place to go. I was impressed. Support local business.

When we go to the checkout line I told my girls they could each pick out a ball from the small bin of balls. I then bent down to look at something on a shelf. I heard an associate very rudely tell my girls that the balls needed to go back in the bin. Not knowing what to say they started to apologize and the associate repeated "balls in bin!" My girls did as requested and walked over to me. I found it extremely rude and unprofessional that the only interaction we had with any one of service was someone scolding my daughters for holding balls that I said I would buy them ‍. The store was nearly empty and I can understand why. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend doing any business with this store, unless you want to have your kids leave crying. .

I asked T question and they responded kindly good people in the store. I got some Iowa beef sticks... they also had good variety of jerky... that meaty juicy type not dried. I asked AI what are the top 5 most popular lures that work best in Utah and the store had all of them. I took them, a great Nike T shirt and my beefsteak at the cashiers near the entrance, paid and bid good day. I'd shop this place again.

The problem with the shoe department in all big 5's is... if you want to try on any shoes/boots that are displayed against the wall, you have to have a salesman go into the back, bring the shoes/boots out for you to try on. This is a pain to have the salesperson keep going in the back for one style or size or another. However, today there wasn't anyone in the shoe department to help, all sales associates were hanging up front socializing with one another. To start both powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting to get back into shape. luckily it was something that I could do regularly when everything was locked down. In the Olympic lifts there is a lot of dropping the barbell at heights over your head. so the last thing you want are the plates to be flying different directions. Also in powerlifting when weights start getting heavy and the barbell starts to bend the you dont want the whip of the bar to cause the plates to slide and cause an asymetry. So I initially bought Clout Collars due to so many universally good reviews. After a few years I noticed that the plates were slipping more and more and definitely with the Olumpics sometimes the collars would pop open. No bueno. So I wrote to them and they more than glad to replace them. Lifretime warranty? yes! that's pretty awesome. they sent me a set of new collars and it was a dramatic difference. with almost full bar of plates I dropped from shoulder height had only a few millimeters of shift. Now obviously these arent the Olympic style clamp down collars. They're an easy to use Lockjaw style. But for the price/performance value and lifretime warranty they're definitely more than worth it

I had phone conversations and documented in emails that I would like to purchase the additional 36-month warranty. I even noted this on my credit card receipt with my signature agreeing to pay the extra fee. This past week (2/26/21), I noted my lift motor is no longer working. When I contacted Fitness Equipment Source and spoke to Mark Clayton, I received the response that they do not offer 36-month warranties but only 24 months. So devil's advocate, even if I only purchased 24 months extra, this would still mean that it should be under warranty until 4/6/21. This company seems to fall under buyer beware!! USE DISCRETION when purchasing with them!!! I will be reporting this to the BBB.

I have emails from him stating each item he would refund and is hasn't, period. Funny he posted a email where I argreed he owed $2900.00 but he failed to point out that it was for a single item, not the remaining balance. This is what I have been putting up with for 3 months, he picks and choices what he will honor. I'm not looking to convince anyone, only warn you. I am currently filing a law suit to get my remaining funds and talking to the Salt Lake City Police Department about fraud charges against Mr. Mark. You guys can make your own choices, that's what's so great about this country. But when you run across a guy like this it's your duty to report it and hopefully keep others from getting burned. First piece of advice, DON'T pay for everything up front. Pay half down and half when you get everything you ordered. And yes, email all talks so everyone is on the same page. Doesn't always work because I have Mark agreeing to pay the $15k in numerous emails but I guess he doesn't feel obligated to his word. Good luck anyone that deals with this dude.
