Poor customer service! Reservation was ignored and waited 20 minutes past reservation time. Seated at a table where the waitress had gone home. 15 minutes later we asked for server and the waitress rolled her eyes. Manager defended waitress saying she was just a little sassy and they overlooked her. Food finally arrived (no butter and jelly as requested). Sausage was tough and so spicy I couldn't eat it. Gravy was ENTIRELY too salty. Waitress was non apologetic for wait or food. Will not return! read more

The wait was much longer than expected, especially since we had been on the wait list for 2 hours but it was Father's Day so we understood. The service was great and the food was even better. I highly recommend the "catshead" chicken biscuit. It was the best thing any of us ordered. The burger is really good too. Weekday seating after placing our name on a wait list thru Yelp. Waited outside about 5-10 beyond what yelp estimated but this was expected as not all variables are known. Seated by a sweet young lady who could not have been more gracious and was engaging. Our male waiter was so kind, answered our questions and deliver our food promptly. I love it when people smile. The food was super tasty. I ordered Yardwork and picky me loooved it. I was impressed with the freshness of ingredients, the combination of tastes and the quantity of ingredients, e.g., the amt of cheese on top was plentiful. I got the pancake as a side. It was flavored perfectly. Hubster ordered the BBB plate. He loved it! I tasted his biscuit and it is slightly crunchy on outside, flavorful and buttery on the inside - more substantial than what you'd receive at Loveless or Cracker Barrel which we love also. You'll love it and so do many others so go off times, put your John Hancock on the wait list, and entertain yourself while you wait. Tried out Big Bag Breakfast in Franklin this morning 3/11. It kept to its name, but not in a good way. It was so BAD. Both mine and my husbands food was so over cooked and dry it was as if it was leftover from the day before. So disappointed... the biscuits were rubbery and even hard to cut. Couldn't even cut the hash browns. His chicken tenders were burnt and dry, etc., Sad considering this location is new. read more

This was a busy but overall delicious typical breakfast/ brunch place. Get a reservation because of you will have to wait awhile on weekends. The steak and eggs were good but for me the portion wasn't filling of "big", I left wanting more. The toast is phenomenal as toast can be in my option. I'm in Franklin and wanted to checkout this place. It was packed (60+ minute wait) for a table on a Sunday morning, so I sat at the counter and quickly learned the servers work as a team. I had three different women helping me; Payton took my order, another served the coffee, and a third brought the food. It probably took longer to decide what to order than for the food took to get to me. I ordered the BBB scramble with biscuit and a side of gravy. My wife and I have been enjoying Big Bad Breakfast (Franklin) now for 7 months. I bet we've had breakfast and lunch here 50+times. The reason we come here so often, even though we can walk to downtown Franklin, is because the quality of the delicious food, the value, the service, the friendliness and the cleanliness of the restaurant. In my experienced opinion this is clearly and simply attributed to the Leadership. Kirsten and Aaliyah in my opinion, as an arguably successful retired serial Silicon Valley CEO, are five star managers and they could translate their skills experience, and abilities not just in the restaurant environment, but I believe across industries. The success of this particular restaurant is due to the quality of the hiring, the work culture, the two way teamwork and the Leadership that is visibly present each and every time we visit. Certainly there is the occasional huckster leaving a less than happy review. Often this is someone who is generally unhappy, a repeat complainer on the platform, needs attention, wants social media hits or wants a discount. The trained eye. knows the difference. Triple B in Franklin is a special experience. If it weren't, it would never see our smiling faces nor our consistent 25-30% gratuities. Hostess working really didn't have the knowledge of working in a fast paced environment of restaurants. One person took my name and phone number. 20 min later another asked me if I preferred outside or in. I watched a couple storm out saying they have sat at the bar for 30 min only to have drinks and no service of taking their food order, hostess was understandably shocked but whispered "sorry" - no acknowledgment given to management that should have been done. As I was sat down to my table - it was noticeably dirty, so the hostess wiped it down and laid my menu there...one of my biggest peeves about restaurants. I looked around and saw many empty tables, with a lot of people waiting. This tells me they are highly understaffed. Service from the wait staff was good, my waitress was Nikki and she was very nice and quick. Coffee was served with no spoon and no spoon was in the silverware - I know this isn't a huge issue, but to stir your coffee you use your fork. Food was not worth the amount of money. I got the Low Country meal and instead of getting bread, I asked for just more potatoes (this is surprisingly an up charge) I was served a 15 dollar plate with the amount of food I can fit in the palm of my hand. Not worth any wait or for the food, the two stars is for the waitress who was noticeably overworked. read more

Hope I can leave a better review next time as we had great experiences prior, but today we came in person to check in and were told a 1 hour wait. 2.5 hours later we were seated. My daughter got the avocado toast and it was super salty and drenched in ... I think lime? Another table nearby told us they didn't like it either. Lady had taken one bite. Other food was good, fine, but definitely not worth 2.5 hour wait. Beautiful day and patio was closed due to low staff. I know other locations are doing great. Really hope this one improves! read more
