Great breakfast stop. Sat at the bar and Marlee was our server. Very attentive and personable! Food was the best ever! Don't know how lunch is but by far the best breakfast than anywhere around! Food was favorable and hot. Biscuit was the best so we bought 6 to go! Not one negative about this spot!!!!

We added our name to the waitlist online which was very convenient. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and seated right away. We had plenty of room at our table and the space is inviting and clean. Our waitress, Madelyn came over right away, took our drink orders and answered some questions we had about the menu. She then brought our drinks and took our order. Throughout the meal our waitress was attentive, refilling drinks and checking in on us. The food was excellent. We had the creole omelet, low country skillet, kids pancake w/sausage patty and the cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll was a little dry but I think that is just how it's made. It seems more like a biscuit-y roll and not a yeasty roll. My child almost ate her entire huge pancake, which never happens! Coffee was good! It is smooth and not bitter. This place hits all the spots! We would definitely eat here again. 10/10

This was the first place we ate at while in Franklin and OMG... the most delicious breakfast we had. From their fresh squeezed orange juice to their Breakfast skillet with shrimp and grits it was just comfort food at its best. Our waiter was Hailey and she was honestly the best, welcomed us as it was our first time there and made our visit enjoyable and was very attentive if we needed anything. Their food was SO good. The Place was Big so they def accommodate big parties if you come with a big group. They even have a bar area you can sit if you come for a quick breakfast or lunch. Their selection was great and was one of the tastiest breakfast we had hands down. The shopping center has several shops and places to eat so there is enough parking all around as well. Their bathrooms were clean and loved the Elvis decor and all. Great food, service, and ambiance def a 10/10 & they even have some cool Merchandise you can take home & purchase

Just an awesome place. One of my new favorite, virtual offices, excellent service, they got outdoor tables, and the food is excellent. Feel free to invite me to breakfast or lunch here.

Great service and yummy food! We were a group of six and only waited 15min for our table which we thought was pretty good for a busy Saturday morning. Our server, Anna, greeted us with a happy smile and even gave us all nice compliment! She took really good care of us and made sure we were happy with our meals. We all enjoyed our meal especially the biscuits! We were told that they were the best, and we all agreed! Very tasty! Light, fluffy, and a little bit crispy. So good! Highly recommend when in Franklin!

Such a great morning for breakfast with a friend. What made it even better was the outstanding outdoor service by Marlee! She was friendly, accommodating and made us feel like family. Very attentive and simply wanted us to enjoy our relaxed Saturday morning. Well done to the great gal with a beautiful smile and the gold M necklace. Hope your day is as wonderful as you made ours. Excellent service M! We asked someone to take this picture as we had the best time just catching up. Take time to nurture friendships and take time to do it at Big Bad Breakfast. Had no intentions of posting a review, yet the experience was so pleasant!

Ruby Sunshine ended up being one of those brunch spots that was worth planning around…read more We visited while spending the day on Franklin's square, and the wait list was about an hour. Normally that's enough to make me reconsider brunch, but after eating here, I'd happily do it again. We were seated outside on an incredibly hot day, and our server--lovingly known as "Slacker"--absolutely earned a shoutout. He somehow managed to keep our table of indecisive food-sharers organized, never let our water glasses get empty, and made the whole experience feel relaxed instead of rushed. The only disappointment? They had already run out of gravy, which meant no biscuits and gravy for us. (My heart still hasn't fully recovered.) Instead, we leaned into sharing everything else. The fried green tomatoes absolutely lived up to the hype, the OG Bennie was fantastic, the avocado toast was fresh and flavorful, and because apparently self-control wasn't invited to brunch, we finished with the white chocolate bread pudding pancakes for "dessert." No regrets. Great food, fantastic service, and a perfect stop while exploring downtown Franklin. Just do yourself one favor... Get there early if biscuits and gravy are calling your name.

Service was great, which is always the majority of the experience…read more We went around 10:15 for breakfast. All three in our party said nothing was "fresh". Diced potatoes had very little seasoning, and were room temp. Bacon was room temp/clearly cooked a few hours prior. Pancakes were okay. Maybe we arrived late/mid-morning, after everything was cooked/just seemed to miss the mark.

So have some patience when you go, but be ready for the food! Get the chicken tortilla soup as an entree, and get the blueberry biscuits with jam and the whipped honey butter. You can thank me later. Place is awesome!

I thought I was safe ordering the garden omelet, but it was not what I expected. The Swiss cheese was served as a large unmelted piece rather than melted or incorporated into the omelet, there was barely any spinach, and the avocado did not taste fresh. The vegetables also seemed to be placed on top rather than mixed into the omelet. I ended up not eating the omelet because it wasn't enjoyable. I brought my concerns to the staff's attention, but no solution was offered--no remake, replacement, or adjustment to the bill. I understand mistakes happen, but I was especially disappointed by how the situation was handled. Good service can often make up for a mistake, but in this case I left feeling unheard, frustrated, and hungry.

I walked in, glanced at the menu for approximately 2.7 seconds, and knew exactly what destiny had in store for me: the Salted Queen Caramel Latte. (Yes ma'am. Royalty in a cup.) I placed my order with a young lady who was polite, friendly, and engaging, the kind of person who makes you feel like you've been coming there for years, even if you just figured out where to stand. Five-star customer service before the caffeine even hit. Seating options? Oh, they've got you covered. You can sit outside upstairs and pretend you're in a Hallmark movie, or stay inside where it's cool and comfortable. We chose inside. The high-top table had USB ports and electrical plugs, which is a classy move. Nothing says "we care" like letting people charge their phone while they charge their soul. And yes, there's WiFi if you feel the need to actually work instead of just looking productive. Then I heard it, my name called out like I'd just won a prize. I stepped forward... and met my Salted Queen Caramel Latte. Wow. It was better than expected. Smooth. Rich. Perfectly balanced. I took one sip and this Old GOAT almost fainted. Which is ironic... because that's exactly where we were. If you live in Franklin and haven't tried The Fainting Goat Coffee, you're missing out. Go meet the Queen. Just be prepared... you might faint.

It didn't take them long for them to make my drink, a salted queen latte, even though they were quite busy. I'm sure thanks to how they have their space setup as well as some fabulous workers! Loved how there were more private booth spaces. Genius! The drink was nummy + exactly what I was looking for. Thanks so much, Fainting Goat Coffee!! Hey next time carry more sizes of shirts so I can continue to spread word of your great coffee shop!

What a great experience…read more The restaurant was spotless, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. What impressed me the most was the service. I have years of restaurant management experience, so I tend to notice how a restaurant operates behind the scenes. During our visit, there were only three people running the entire restaurant: a chef, a server who was also acting as the host, and a manager who seemed to be doing everything from food running to bussing tables and helping wherever needed. Despite being short staffed, the quality of service never dropped for a second. Everyone worked together seamlessly, and the entire operation ran surprisingly smoothly. I had a chance to speak with the manager, and I was genuinely impressed by his professionalism, leadership, and positive attitude. Restaurants are lucky to have managers who are willing to lead by example and jump in wherever they're needed. The location is great, the customer service is outstanding, and the food exceeded expectations. It's not easy to maintain this level of quality with such a small team, and they deserve a lot of credit for it. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

When you walk in, you place your order at the counter, grab your number, and find a seat. There's counter seating, several tables inside, or you can head outside where they have a few covered tables. Once seated, they bring your drinks out to you. After we got our drinks, it did take a little while for the food to come out, longer than I expected. Luckily, we had plenty of business to talk about, so the time passed quickly. Then the food arrived, and it was worth the wait! I ordered the Easy Nasty... because that's how I roll! The biscuit was a buttermilk layered-style biscuit, lighter than a traditional Southern biscuit, and it was fantastic. The chicken fingers were lightly battered and cooked perfectly, then topped with cheddar cheese sausage gravy. I added an over-easy egg on top, and breaking that yolk took this dish to a whole new level. Absolutely amazing! We also ordered the Southern Benny, which came with shaved country ham, eggs, and sausage gravy on a biscuit and they loved it. We added a side of cheese grits as well, which were very good. Suggestions, Besides the wait for the food, they were not very attentive to filling your drinks. Also, If you had water they had a self serve station, but it was a disaster. While we were there we watched one kid drop his whole cup of water on the floor, and several adults not turning off the nozzle and let it run. It would be better to have one person stroll the restaurant with a water pitcher. Overall, the food was excellent. If you're in a hurry, this may not be the place to stop, but if you're south of Franklin and looking for a great breakfast spot, this is definitely worth checking out.
