What a great experience…read more The restaurant was spotless, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. What impressed me the most was the service. I have years of restaurant management experience, so I tend to notice how a restaurant operates behind the scenes. During our visit, there were only three people running the entire restaurant: a chef, a server who was also acting as the host, and a manager who seemed to be doing everything from food running to bussing tables and helping wherever needed. Despite being short staffed, the quality of service never dropped for a second. Everyone worked together seamlessly, and the entire operation ran surprisingly smoothly. I had a chance to speak with the manager, and I was genuinely impressed by his professionalism, leadership, and positive attitude. Restaurants are lucky to have managers who are willing to lead by example and jump in wherever they're needed. The location is great, the customer service is outstanding, and the food exceeded expectations. It's not easy to maintain this level of quality with such a small team, and they deserve a lot of credit for it. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

When you walk in, you place your order at the counter, grab your number, and find a seat. There's counter seating, several tables inside, or you can head outside where they have a few covered tables. Once seated, they bring your drinks out to you. After we got our drinks, it did take a little while for the food to come out, longer than I expected. Luckily, we had plenty of business to talk about, so the time passed quickly. Then the food arrived, and it was worth the wait! I ordered the Easy Nasty... because that's how I roll! The biscuit was a buttermilk layered-style biscuit, lighter than a traditional Southern biscuit, and it was fantastic. The chicken fingers were lightly battered and cooked perfectly, then topped with cheddar cheese sausage gravy. I added an over-easy egg on top, and breaking that yolk took this dish to a whole new level. Absolutely amazing! We also ordered the Southern Benny, which came with shaved country ham, eggs, and sausage gravy on a biscuit and they loved it. We added a side of cheese grits as well, which were very good. Suggestions, Besides the wait for the food, they were not very attentive to filling your drinks. Also, If you had water they had a self serve station, but it was a disaster. While we were there we watched one kid drop his whole cup of water on the floor, and several adults not turning off the nozzle and let it run. It would be better to have one person stroll the restaurant with a water pitcher. Overall, the food was excellent. If you're in a hurry, this may not be the place to stop, but if you're south of Franklin and looking for a great breakfast spot, this is definitely worth checking out.

Choose this place! 10/10 would highly recommend again and again…read more We live in St. Louis and flew in to try some unique cuisine from the St. Louis scene. Initially, it reminded us of First Watch (a compliment) but upon further review there were items we hadn't ever considered before. Let's start with the Bacon Lover's BLT&A The perfect amount of crunch. The bacon was juicy NOT WET but the right amount of fat. Perfect amount of avocado paired with the garlic aioli. It could use a touch more lettuce but that still doesn't not take away from this beautifully crafted sandwich. Always right to bet on it. Now the pancakes. The Bourbon St. Pancakes were a hit all on their own. I pieced together three à la carte items to marry a delightful blend of FLAVOR and joy. The loaded grits explode with flavor in each bite. Their grits are smooth and creamy so if you don't like textured grits, you may actually give these a try. The green onion steals the show every time. I've never heard of sage and brown sugar sausage -- the earthy flavors were a hit! We were so pleased with our meals and we will be returning before we head back home with handmade mug in tow -- they're for sale!

The staff is well trained, friendly, and attentive even though we were seated outside. Food is solid. They actually have my favorite croissant in the greater Nashville area, but yes it is unfortunately the most expensive lol. They are made in house and have gotten their lamination down. The pastry is not too dense yet still has a nice crunch for the outside layer. The heirloom tomato toast is my favorite on their breakfast menu. Fluffy scrambled eggs, flavorful basil ricotta, and super sweet tomatoes on brioche was delightful. The orange smoothie and their juices are also really good. Love the ambiance and food; will definitely be back! Btw, they have removed their 23% mandatory gratuity in response to feedback.

The side of bacon was both charred and underdone somehow. My sister had the heirloom tomato toast without the egg. It came on a challah bread. She loved it over to my piece of sourdough as that was her preference. I tried the challah and liked it. She said the tomatoes were great. She also had a side of the hashbrowns which is a deep fried potato cake. She really like it. I tried it and thought it was good as well. Our service was good.
