This place is located in the back. We were almost not going to go there because the whole foodcourt was empty. Empty of people and stalls! There are about 15 stalls and only about 5 were occupied. We were tired and didn't want Red Robin or islands outside. So we decided on this from the 5 stalls that were left in this foodcourt. Great find though! Great prices and delicious food! Everything was fried to yumminess! lol

Overall, I had a fairly good experience. There is a kiosk I ordered at, and then you wait for your food to be prepared. The wait is reasonable, and the flavors were on point. I tried the crispy chicken skin and crispy oyster mushrooms with fried basil. The only thing that would have made things better was the everything could have been made even more crispy than it was, but the flavors were there. There are plenty of tables, but I got my food to go.

Ordered from the kiosk for lunch and even with no one else there our order took over 30 minutes. Only had one person working the place on a weekday lunch causing this delay but if I had known the wait would be that long I probably would've ordered from somewhere else since I still had to get back to work. The popcorn chicken bento box was filling but not worth the price. The chicken was juicy but was a little under seasoned and the egg was overcooked making it dry.

It's hard to find a local place that has tasty popcorn chicken, but this place has it! Their Taiwanese sausage is also delicious and hard to find at other places. Their chicken steak is also good along with their other combos. Good place to grab a bite if you're shopping for groceries at 99 or in the area.

Glad to see some new spots here at Cravings 99 and hope they stay busy! We were looking for a little mid-day snack and the popcorn chicken here fit the bill! ---popcorn chicken: reasonably priced and it was nice and crispy, great for sharing! Will have to be back to try their minced pork rice

This spot is part of the Cravings food court, one of my favorite grocery stores in the area. However, the restaurant itself is quite underwhelming. The whole food court felt very empty, half the stores were closed, even lunch hours was not vibing. Big Bad Chicken seems to work with Just Boba, as they have the same kiosk. They have meal sets for about $20, which includes a drink with a bento. Without a drink will be about $13. Ordering was weird, the kiosks at Big Bad Chicken and Just Boba were the same, but boba and sandwiches were picked up at JB while bentos are at BBC, their kitchens are not even next to each other. Given that there wasn't anyone else waiting, the service at lunch is achingly slow. Order is ready but they don't call your number. You had to shout for attention because somehow they're busy in the kitchen with ghost orders. I've tried the standard minced pork rice bowl and ordered a pork chop sandwich to try. The bowl was decently sized, taste just okay, the side veggies were just frozen corn and stuff. The sandwich I order wasn't available, they didnt block it off the menu and told me WAY after the fact. I had the choices of whatever was premade at the counter, had some egg with pork floss one instead. Totally not worthwhile. I love Taiwanese food and this wasn't giving me a "yes, I'll come back every time" feeling. Given that Chino Hills is accessible to many other TW food spots, it's definitely not a spot I'd go back to. This food court restaurant is far beyond ready for customers. Somehow this place has a lot of good reviews months ago, hard to believe that this place has fallen off this much this soon.

The best popcorn chicken in Chino Hills! Great flavor and not dry. This is a new spot in the Cravings market/food hall off Grand Ave. There's been a lot of turnaround for restaurants in Cravings, but I hope this one sticks around. They also have self-ordering via tablet which is very convenient.

Look for Cravings food market first as this restaurant is inside the market at the very back! It isn't advertised outside the building so this is the only tip you get at the moment. I initially came to the market for the Hainan chicken rice but decided to order the iconic Taiwanese street vendor food, the fried chicken filet. I wasn't intending to finish the chicken filet right then but it was so nicely crunchy in the outside and tender/juicy on the inside with a hint of the black pepper reminding me of night market atmosphere in Taiwan! I ended up ordering sesame balls, oyster mushrooms and yam fries as vegetarian options from the restaurant to take home to my vegetarian in laws. The sesame balls were a big hit as well as the oyster mushrooms. Talked to the cashier and turns out they just opened the beginning of this month so still missing some items in the menu. They are an established restaurant in Cerritos he said. I look forward to experiencing more of a Taiwanese goodness here in the future! Lastly, I have been seeing such price hikes everywhere since the pandemic and supply chain shortages. To see items here go for $6-7 makes me feel like it was pre-pandemic pricing! Lastly, I hope they extend their operating hours beyond 730pm and make this market a popping place to be!

Fried pork chop, string beans, and gizzard all in one box.

Took 25 minutes for fried pork chop, string beans, and gizzard. Comes out all mixed together unless you ask them not to. No flavor in any of the food, just spice. You order through a kiosk but the pictures of the food look entirely different from what you actually get. The girl is working by herself, and is clearly understaffed. She was super sweet and explained how their system works, but the owner should do something to fix the issues...

    FRIED TOFU

I'm sad at all the bad reviews..as I have NEVER had a bad experience here. I usually get the fried tofu..my son the popcorn chicken. Always BOMB. The chef does great. I get a medium spice on my tofu..I've gotten the spicy and boy did I regret it lol the tofu comes out perfect seasoned with just the right crunch. The popcorn kitchen FIRE tried it with no spice and with spice..both DELICIOUS. They forget to put the sauce in..but the guy is always nice to give one when asked. Sweet and sour sauce just makes it better. Every time I shop I will go grab from here..don't let the bad reviews hinder you.

So much fried goodness !!!!My go to is popcorn chicken, calimari, and mushrooms. I haven't tried the tofu or yams. The wings are too crispy for my taste. Each portions is $6. You get a lot for $25. Enough for several meals. It's all the way in the back of the food vendors, behind MADBUN.

    My order is ready text!

Located inside of Cravings by 99 Ranch Market. It may be a little difficult to find as it is one of the last food stalls in the back of the building. (If you find the restrooms, it is directly in front of it.) I approached the counter and was ready to place an order but the man at the register just gave me a blank stare and pointed at the kiosks to the left. Apparently, you can only order off the kiosk and you will receive a text when your food is ready for pick up. I ordered the fried tofu (spicy). My order was ready in less than 10 minutes and surprisingly, the worker handed me my order where I was seated, waiting, before I even received the text for pick up! The tofu was hot temperature wise but not spicy as I requested, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was a bit salty but would definitely pair well with some rice or even a cold beer!

    Vat of grease, fried tofu.

There's no ambiance for take out orders except for the fact that I had to walk far from the game to find a fork and I'm kind of irritated about that.

I have eaten my way through filet mignon, ribeyes that could make you emotional, slow braised short ribs that fall apart if you look at them too hard, and somehow, somehow, this corned beef just walked in, sat down at the head of the table, and said, "We're doing things differently now." The meat? Ridiculous. Tender in a way that makes you question physics. Moist without being greasy. Rich without crossing into that heavy, regret filled territory. Every bite felt like it had been engineered by someone who understands joy on a molecular level. And then, because apparently that wasn't enough, you get the balance. The sauerkraut cuts through with just the right tang. The Russian dressing slides in with this creamy, slightly sweet acidity that ties everything together like it has a degree in culinary diplomacy. Nothing fights. Nothing overwhelms. It's harmony. It's orchestral. It's borderline inappropriate how good it is. The rye bread? Let's talk about it. Toasty, flavorful, structurally sound, which matters, because this sandwich has presence. It doesn't just hold the sandwich, it participates. It shows up. It contributes. Now let me save you from making the same mistake I did: Do not order the fries. Listen, the curly fries are great. I'm not here to slander them. But pairing them with this sandwich is like trying to follow a standing ovation with a fireworks show indoors. It's too much. This sandwich is already peak decadence. Add fries, and you've crossed into excess that your soul, and your digestive system, will have a meeting about later. Next time, I am getting fruit. Something light. Something that respects what just happened on that plate. Final verdict: This isn't just a sandwich. It's an event. A commitment. A decision you don't make casually. And yes, I will absolutely be ordering it again.
