My local gas station. I rarely get gas anywhere else in town. Great staff, clean well stocked mini-market with competitive prices.

i no longer feel any illwill towards this gas station even thow they stole money frm my checking account and was found guity for doing so i got refunded in full when they traced the money transactions but it took a few months just b careful swiping your card inside and outside at the pump try and use cash the system was outdated at time of my theft good luck read more

This is my go to place to fill up on petrol in the Bear. The price per gallon is expectable for the higher altitude options located within the town. Most importantly the contactless payment option is actually functionable, so I am assured my encrypted payment will be safe. There are some fraudulent activities such as card skimmers located throughout this beautiful mountain village, so be cautious my friends. 5.0 - Probably stop by this week. read more

Conveniently located in the heart of Big Bear Lake. I came to this Shell to purchase a few snacks and drinks, as we were hiking around the city in the afternoon. Pleasantly surprised to not find everything super overpriced. Score! Waters ranged from 69 cents - $1.99. I imagined everything to be much more expensive... left nice and happy with money left in my pocket! read more

Nice location, but Lord please help that woman working there. She just seemed like she hated life, never gets dick, and just looks mad all the time. She was very rude. I asked a simple question: if they serve alcohol. She replied with a smart ass, "No??". I brushed it off and asked if there is a nearby place that serves alcohol and she replied, "Anywhere else but here?" Thank you so much Captain obvious! Why do you hire these clowns? So, just went in and dealt with the worst attitude I've ever seen. Almost seemed like she had an issue with white people. A little Mexican gal. It's all good. Two wrongs dont make a right. Anyway, I messed up my phone number for the rewards program and she said she wouldn't help me anymore that I had to get my money back and go somewhere else. I kept trying to get her to smile and be happy and to lose the attitude and she just didn't have that ability. You are in America be grateful have a smile be considerate of other people this person completely lacked any of those skills and it's very disappointing that somebody like that is representing big bear. This happened about 1035 in the morning on Friday, September 7, 2018. I've been shopping here since cowboy Russ used to work there and as I said I will not be going there again I am so offended by how this little girl acted. No wonder why less than 15% of people come back to big Bear Lake if little punks like this are representing us and literally the face of big Bear because everyone has to get gas so everyone runs into these truly negative people. Look I am local and if I allowed this to ruin my morning imagine how a tourist will feel after spending a fortune just to be here and spend all that time to drive up here. read more

Outside restroom, need key. A bunch of the pumps had "Out of Service" signs on them. I tried to get diesel at a pump that had one of these signs, but only on the non-diesel gas handle. I went inside to grab a coffee and pre-pay for my fuel and when I went back out the pump didn't work at all. I went back in and they weren't the friendliest bunch I've ever met, refunded the amount I pre-payed, and then charged my card again for the same amount... Seemed a little funky but meh, I got my diesel and was on my way. It was $4.35 for diesel here, obviously inflated because it is up in Big Bear, but I did notice a couple other stations had it for slightly cheaper (only by a few cents). read more

Our dumb ass friend ran out of gas during a huge storm and we went to shell to buy a gas can and of course they were out because it's a huge ass storm. Gary, the attendant, restored our faith in humanity and said we could borrow his gas can from his house. He went above and beyond to help us out. THANK YOU GARY!!!!!! read more

Very nice local gas attendant. The bathrooms were also pristinely clean (almost too clean, I could taste the air freshener). He even told me a better way to get to it by going around the longer way so I wouldn't have to trudge through the snow. read more

If only I could give 0 stars. I'm on Christmas vacation in Big Bear and stopped at this Shell for gas. The attendant shut off the pump and ignored me when I went inside to inquire. He pretended to be busy while I was speaking to him. Once He decided to acknowledge me, he said I had to give a dollar amount to make sure my card would go through. Excuse me, but I'm not the one who works in a gas station. I will make sure Shell's corporate office knows what kind of people are running independently owned stores under their brand name! read more
