I just have to give a big shout out to Bill at Moonridge fuel. We were getting ready to head out of town and needed air in our tires... Two different filling stations, nothing working... Stopped in here just to ask if he knew of a place, and he had air right there, brought us a special gauge out to use, super serviceable guy! When we drove up he was cleaning a woman's windshield, and then I saw him out talking to other people that had pulled in for gas. You just don't get service like that often anymore! Next time we're in town, that's where we're going for gas for sure - and to say hi to Bill. read more

Super overbearing and rude owners. They were yelling at me that I couldn't park where I was because there's supposedly "no parking" at the location I was at. Not only was there no one around that we were "blocking," but we were also going to move the car anyway we just needed to get our stuff out. Also, may I add that stopping for 5 minutes at a public gas station is not illegal. While I understand they want customers to have space to get gas, there was quite literally no one there and no one coming. For the time I was there, only one car came. I'd just like to say that my car parking there is probably more beneficial than it not being there due to the fact that no one was getting gas there at all anyway . The owner was quite literally stalking me and my party just because we were parked at his PUBLC GAS STATION for longer than he liked. Maybe he'd get more business if he wasn't such a grinch. Lastly, it is illegal to have your dog without a leash or collar in public areas . I recommend going to kmart gas station instead. Friendly and not overbearing and stalker like. read more

I 3X Love Moonridge Fuel! Hoss is a super sweet and kind person. Everyone else who works there is just as kind. My favorite place for gas! I totally dig the LONG handles on their windshield washers, perfect for big trucks like ours, and many others in the valley here. Very competitive prices too. When they have time, they wash your windows while you gas up. Sweet people, good petrol. When we were gassing up the bikes today, I watched Hoss helping an older woman. He filled up her tires and saved her day. He was kind and sweet. She gave him a big hug afterwards and he was so modest. Good people. read more

Stopped by because my tires needed more air. Gas attendant came right out as I pulled up, told me air is free and even gave my dog a treat. Such a nice gas station. There's a reason why this place is 5 stars while the rest of the gas stations are 2 and below. I bought some water and left a tip. Will stop again when we come up to Big Bear next time! read more

Moonridge Fuel is the best fuel stop on the mountain. Prices are fair and the staff is supper cool. They will pump your fuel if you let them or they will just be friendly and chat with you. Five stairs for a gas station?! You betcha! Sure, it's gas. There's nothing too special about it...aside from the customer service! We stopped here to get gas before heading back down the mountain. I ran inside to pay cash for our pump and was greeted by the kindest worker, Steve. We made small talk about the bone chilling weather outside while I paid, and then I ran back out to fill up the car. As I went to fill up the car, he came out and told me that he'd pump the gas for me so I could get out of the cold. Myself and everyone else in the car commented on how kind and thoughtful of him this was. Maybe it's because I really, really, really don't like being cold, but this small gesture spoke volumes to me and compelled me to write this review. If I ever find myself out this way again and need to fill up on gas, I'll be sure to come here and support this small, locally owned station! read more

Went there today only to be ignored by the worker pumping someone's gas and cleaning car windshield. I gave him the benefit of waiting inside the store with his dog for a couple of minutes. Then I went outside, No kidding I was the holding the tank in my hand waiting to be acknowledged by the worker. After ten minutes, I decided to take my business to Kmart where it was 2.00 more a tank but I was tended to immediately. There is no doubt he knew I was waiting. He literally ignored me! My green dollars as the same color as any customer in Big Bear. I gave him two stars because the dog had better manners than the worker. read more

My wife and I were on a day trip to enjoy the cooler weather in Big Bear and found this little gas station. We were greeted by an extremely nice gentleman who proceeded to pump the gas and cleaned our windshield for us. He even shared some great conversation with us while helping other customers and ourselves. This is a place that is going the extra mile to give service with a smile. I will only go here for gas when I am in the area. And they have the cheapest gas prices around. read more

Best place in town for gasoline! I stopped there because it is six cents cheaper than anyone else however, I feel that it is one of Big Bear's best kept secrets even if it is a gas station. My experience there brought me back to my childhood where my Mom or Grandma pulled up to a gas station and a charming man came out filled the tank, washed my windows and offered to checked the fluids in my car! He was friendly and kind. The mechanics at the ski resorts said that it tested the cleanest fuel in town. I beleave it because my car did not even "ping" when I drove home. I will be back every time I need gas. read more
