Stopped in here on our way out of town last week. Leaving a 1 star review based on the unsanitary conditions at this place. 3 people working, all were very nice. The problem- no gloves on 2 of 3 the people who made our sandwiches. I know not all places where gloves and this is OK if your hands are clean! It is not OK if you are going to stop making my sandwich, go ring up another person, use your bare hands to touch their dirty cash and coins and then come right back to peeling my cheese and putting vegetables on my sandwich! This is not acceptable in any way! Cash and coins are one of the dirtiest things you can touch! Gross! Then the women did the same, she rang up the next person and then scratched her head (hair) and then right to touching my food! The third person did have gloves on but it makes no sense since all 3 of them touched my sandwich. I was grossed out and could not enjoy my food. I will not be back. read more

Wowzers! This place is delicious!! Got the melted Swiss and hot pastrami on Rye. They bake their bread in the shop. Small, homey, personal. Boyfriend's sandwich was almost melting in his mouth. And the kids meal was is like getting a sandwich for free! $3.99 for sandwich, chips, a cookie and a drink for the kiddos. It's a small little hole in the wall and the directions were leading us to the wrong place but we could see it from the road and we're able to stop. He was friendly and explained his menu to us. The main menu was behind us on the wall. The soda machine was tucked away in a corner but they offer Pepsi products in the machine and then they have a cooler with Coke products. I got a turkey with provolone on Italian white bread with shredded lettuce, mayo, tomato, peppercini's, vinegar, and seasonings. My husband got an Italian club which was a special that day. I love the Italian white bread. It was fresh and just the right amount of chewy. It was an easy sandwich to eat. I liked the meat, cheese and bread ratio. I would eat here again. read more
