Love this place. Big Bite has great pizzas, burgers, and ridicously hot chicken wings. I work late hours and its so great to find a place that stays open so late. My only complaint would be the salads which leave a lot to be desired. The vegetables in their salads are chopped for a deli sandwich not bite size for the salads. This restaurants strength is the Bite Burger and its pizza. And its quick delivery. read more

Food is okay but very rude customer service. They make a mean Steak and Cheese sub! The delivery folks are nice but the woman who takes your order has an attitude problem. I'm sure she was busy but don't take it out on the customer. Also it would be nice if people would remember the customer is actually paying them and say a thank you. read more

Let me start off by saying this has become our "go to" delivery restaurant. Their food is good and consistent. Their menu has a lot of variety, of several genres in which they produce a good product. Last night however they committed the unpardonable (in my mind) sin. Amanda answered the phone and takes the orders. They flat out lied to a customer and got caught. Their standard delivery timeframe is "45 Minutes". I set the timer for one hour to measure performance. After 50 minutes I called checking on the order and Amanda told me that it left 30 mins ago and "should be there any minute". I explained we were a 10 minute max trip from the store. After 12 mins still no food I called back, Amanda answered and I asked to speak to a manager. She said "she was the manager" and the "only one there". I said still no food. I asked why she didn't call the driver earlier to find out his location? No response. The food arrived a couple of minutes later. I told my wife "no tip" she explained why to the driver and he said he left "a couple minutes ago" and was in the store when I called earlier and was just leaving. He said the problem was a driver called in. I called Amanda back admonished her for lying to a customer and asked why? She had no answer but just apologized. We all have obstacles to overcome everyday in our work lives. How you respond is the key to success. If she had just said we had a "no show driver" and we will be late I would have been good with it. She made a rookie mistake and her response coming from a Manager is unforgivable. read more

really good wings. i actually didn't try their pizza simply because I wasn't feeling it. Their wings really wowed me, however. I ordered them plain and got three free sauces--barbecue, blue cheese, and honey mustard. I normally dislike blue cheese dressing, but the one they offered tasted smooth without the typical blue cheese'sl vomiting causing smell. I ordered online, which process was easy and the delivery came very quickly. I also ordered their hamburger sub, and it was fine, nothing AMAZING. but I say give their wings a try. This was our first and last time ordering from Big Bite. To start off we were ordering lunch for an office building. The person who took my order was not happy at all that we had to pay with credit card and told me next time to order on line. I apologized and he took my orders letting me know that it would take an additional 10-15 minutes to input the orders. I said that is fine sorry. When the food arrived they had charged each card and extra 2 dollars for delivery even though they were coming to the same place. So now our 10 dollar lunch is 12 and then tip. The pizza was cold, the tacos were eatable, the fish was good but fries were cold, the gyro was not worth 12 dollars the Queso was like the cheese you pump out of a container. Thanks but no thanks. We love this place. Everything we've tried has been delicious. My husband loves the wings, especially with their homemade ranch dressing, which is excellent. We both love the potato skins. They're HUGE and are actually full of potato, unlike most "fast" food places, who give you a skin with a tiny touch of potato. The chicken souvlaki pita is overflowing with fresh grilled chicken, the salads are HUGE and very fresh. I only wish they would chop the vegetables--it's impossible to eat the salads without spedning a lot of time chopping. The tacos are surprisingly good, too (the soft taco shells are really good quality and fresh--the hard shells are generic, over-crunchy). The brownie is insane, very fudgy and topped with walnuts and chocolate chips. The pizza can be a little inconsistent--I don't love the regular crust pizza (somehow it seems undercooked) but the thin crust version is good. read more

The management staff here is terrible. We ordered food late at night and when it was delivered the wings were over cooked, the cheese sauce was still cold from the refrigerator and fries were soggy and cold. When we called to give feedback they were rude to us. We did not want our money back or anything we just simply wanted to give feedback. When we asked for district information because she was so rude she said she is the highest ranked person we could reach. Unbelievable! read more

I ordered pizza, wings, and nachos. The pizza was covered with an abnormally large amount of grease. The delivery man had dropped all of the food on the way to the house. All the cheese was piled up on the side of the box in a greasy pile. The ranch and hot sauce containers exploded upon impact coating the wings and half the bag. The nachos dip was mostly beans (which isn't terrible) but they were not drained so it was a goopy black bean mess on the bottom topped with a dollop of sour cream and maybe 1/8 cup of shredded cheese. This was a disgusting meal that I paid $32 dollars for and then tipped the terrible driver $7. I will NEVER order from this store again. BEWARE! read more

The boyfriend and I were being lazy and in the mood for a pizza, but our normal delivery place (Casa de Mama) had closed so we gave Big Bite a shot. I'd stopped in once before and got a sausage sandwich to go which was decent but nothing special so we weren't expecting anything fantastic on the pizza front. We ordered our well-done pie with garlic, pineapple and banana peppers. It came in a reasonable period of time -- no complaints there. Upon first opening it, it was clear that this was NOT a well-done pizza. (At least I hope they don't consider that well-done, if so I can't imagine what they normally look like.) Toppings were generous and well spread out but they were nothing compared to the cheese. OMG, was there a lot of cheese. Like just this side of too much cheese, which I never imagined was possible on a pizza. We normally don't need plates for our pizza, but these pieces were so heavy with cheese that we had to be able to set them down so they didn't collapse under the weight of their cheesy goodness. Wow. They use a decent quality too, not that plasticy crap you get at the bigger name places. The sauce could use some zing (and maybe a little bigger spoonful of it) but we'll order from here again, most likely. (I do want to try the wings, after reading so much about them. I think I'd ordered from the Burke location in the past and was underwhelmed. Until Saturday, I had never ordered from the Annandale location. But, Saturday evening, with a craving for wings and no desire to leave the house I started searching Yelp for delivery options, and time and again Big Bite reviews raved about their wings. You weren't wrong. Were they the best wings I've ever had? Not at all. Were they they best that I'd gotten delivered? Absolutely. And, I would actually attest that they were better heated up on day two, possibly because I crisped them up more in the oven. Will definitely remember this the next time I'm feeling lazy and craving wings. On-line ordering was easy and delivery was quick. We also ordered mozzarella sticks and jalapeno poppers, neither of which were necessarily good or bad -- kind of your standard, frozen, food service grade appetizers. read more

2nd review, again about the same delivery driver. i order from here because the food is good and close to my job. but the delivery driver is rude. he demanded a tip twice. i ordered but not with my card, my coworker treated me to lunch so i left a small tip. upon arriving, the delivery driver told me that the tip is suppose to be $3-$4, which i dont mind paying but you cant demand a tip, that is rude and unprofessional. the first time he did that, he embarrassed me in front of all my coworkers when i was paying for someone else's order with their card. this time, when i told him that it wasnt my card that i was paying with, he said that all customers say that and told me next time to leave a bigger tip. i shouldve asked for my coworkers money back but this will be the last time i order from here which sucks because the food is good. this time, my food arrived cold, which i think was intentionally done because the driver felt he wasn't tipped enough. so thanks but no thanks. i will order else where, all because of that delivery driver. read more

The food is great here but now they have decided to not take credit cards for called in orders -- only for orders on-line. There are some older people who love the food here but are not comfortable uinng the inter net to pay for anything. There have been too many breaches of security and older individuals are not comfortable putting a credit card number on line -- especially if they have a great credit score and don't want it messed up if someone gets hold of the number. This company may find themselves losing business -- especially among the older generations. read more

one of the only places with eggplant. They are consistent, there eggplant is very good for the area, they use plenty of sauce and make a nice juicy pizza. also the kitchen seems to be very clean and they have a nice pizza oven. the xl is really just the size of a large though but its still a good price. i encountered one rude delivery man but im not sure he works there anymore. read more

I was SHOCKED at how good the wings were. They have one of the best online ordering pages for any take-out/delivery place. You can specify everything, including how you want your wings cooked. Pizza was great when hot. Doesn't really hold up as a leftover tho, not sure why because I love leftover pizza. Delivery was a little slower than I wanted, but it was right before a pretty important Redskins game, so maybe they were a little busy. Will probably order from them again this Sunday.. :) read more

we get delivery from big bite a couple times a month, and we love it. we have a favorite order, and for my 1/2 of the pie, i always order the same combo: feta cheese and pineapple chunks. thought it would be hideous at first, but now i can't get enough. they are very generous with the sweet pineapple that's the perfect counterpoint to the tanginess of the cheese. their delivery times have always been between fine and very prompt, also. read more

Well I did like this place my boss tole me they had the best wings, well they do. I ordered something online and wanted it delivered to me 10 till 6pm so I could take it home for dinner. The online ordering has an option that allows this, at least I thought so I ordered at 3pm for my 5:45 delivery so I didnt have to bother later and they brought it at 3:45 awsome timing if I was leaving at 4. HELLO if I order from you and say bring it at 5:45 there must be a reason right. Well when I had them take it back and called to speak to a manager to let him know his online was having issues there was no manager according to the guy that answered, and he said if you cant leave a message I dont have time for you and hung up. Hummm for a place that has good food but shity service makes them a very bad place to order from in my book. Maybe next time they will learn to say im sorry I will make it right and check the computer for you. read more
