Guys whats with the lackluster reviews?! This cheese pizza is literally some of the best in the area! Its like NY style where its thin but not crispy like a cracker. Such good flavor on the cheese! I'd ideally rate this between a 4 and a 5, but I'm going to round up today. This is quintessential tri-state area pizza. They "follow the rules" when making NYC style pizza like the cornmeal on the bottom. I like a pizza that's a little thinner with a little less toppings and cooked a little darker. I think a pan reheat would definitely make all the difference. The margherita was my favorite and the garlic and basil really balanced out the cheese and tomato. The slices as you can see have a bit of oiliness but it's not egregious. I find wise guys to be far too oily. The soft cornicione (crust) reminded me a bit of Papa Johns but it was very pleasant to eat. I don't think the dough is being cold fermented for several days since it's a bit heavier but I don't mind since that's a different style of pizza. I think the pizzas are fairly priced. I finally got around to try Aroma Pizza in Lorton for the first time tonight. I'm sad to report this was nothing worth waiting for. The order taker was brusque/borderline rude over the phone - problem one. Second, the gentleman taking the order seemed frustrated when I decided to order a large pizza instead of a medium as he seemed to mumble with someone while changing my order - strike two. Lastly, when going to pick up my order, he and a woman in the kitchen ignored me and the lady in front of me at the counter as they continued working in the kitchen in full view of us, his two customers - strike three. The one bright spot about this place is their attention to cleanliness. The meat pizza was a miss - it was overcooked, dry and tasteless. There was no "aroma" to be found anywhere in this pizza. If I had to guess, this location probably doesn't get a whole lot of business. Sometimes, suffice it to say, one is probably better off with a DiGiorno Frozen pizza. read more

I want it to be known I am Italian and I grew up eating a lot of Italian dishes. I also ate at many great Italian restaurants and I have to say this is not one of them. This has to be one of the worse pizza shops I've eaten at. We ordered the chicken Alfredo pizza and it was basically cheese with pieces of chicken with barely any Alfredo sauce. On top of that we ordered the calamari and I almost laughed after trying it. I had better frozen calamari from Costco than this place. Literally was frozen calamari but the cheapest brand possible. To finish it off I also ordered their calzone. Well the original calzones dough tasted like pretzel dough and it had little pre cut cube ham that you would find in a military dining facility omelet. The sauce was the weirdest thing. It was not marinara sauce at all. It had hints of cumin in it and was very confused if it was suppose to be a type of sauce that originated in India or not. I couldn't resist any longer. I wanted pizza for about two weeks, but I didn't have any cash on me and I was not about to go out to get some. What to do? I broke down and ordered pizza from my new favorite spot. I ordered on 12-18-2021 a 12" pepperoni and sausage pizza. It was just what I needed. The pepperoni are little small circles. The sausage is just the write bite-size. The cheese is just chewy enough. The crust is not super thin but not super thick, but just right. There's just enough grease too. This was our first time ordering from Aroma. We ordered a medium pizza. Half what I like, half what my husband likes. I liked the pizza. I like the thinner crust. My husband didn't like it, he didn't feel like the price we paid for the pizza matched the product. In his opinion there wasn't anything special about it that we couldn't get for a lower price somewhere else. Probably the best pizza you'll find in the Lorton area. They make it exactly how I like it. Just enough cheese to not make you feel guilty, not heavy on the sauce or toppings and the dough has a light crunch of a bite but is chewy enough to go along with the cheese. Aroma pizza plus has no idea what customer satisfaction is. I ordered a simple pizza with mushrooms and GREEN peppers. Nothing spicy, no heat. Why? Because, I can no longer eat spicy food. I politely explained this to the person that answered the phone and kindly requested a replacement item from their menu for me to eat. I didn't even ask for a refund. I want to say how applaud I am at the way this pizza place has treated me and my husband. I'm a mom and one of my kids and myself are immune compromised. I 90% of the time cook but once a week we like to support our local businesses. So we decided to order from this place and before their delivery lady got to my house. She texted me saying " is that all the tip she gets?" First off "rude" we always tipped and we tipped. So when she got to my house she didn't practice any social distancing as their company offers no contact. She knocks on the door being very confrontational to my husband. Stating is that all the tip she gets and that "others" tip $10.00 or more. Um, excuse me?!? I'm a family of five and it's a Friday we decided to buy food from this company to help out. She also called us all kinds of B*****s. We contacted the manager who stated he spoke to her and fired her. When I told him how she was already confrontational before coming. How do know she didn't cough or spit on our food? Especially when my child always witnessed her cough at my husband. The manager cut me off he himself became combative and told us he wasn't giving us a refund and hung up on me. Was on the road and it was getting near closing time. Hadn't eaten dinner so pulled off I95 and stopped here on a whim. Wasn't gonna leave review but saw there were alot of 1 and 5 reviews. On a whim decided to try out Aroma's for dinner. Me and spouse ordered two specialty pizza's. One pepperoni and onion, the other was pepperoni and chicken. I'm an avid onion lover and have tried onions on pizza from several chain restaurants and locally owned restaurants. Almost always either the onions are LOUD or non-existent. Aroma seems to have a nice middle ground when it comes to it. My onions had a great flavor and presence without being obvious or smelly. Also the onions had a nice sweetness to it that I really enjoyed. Sauce, pepperoni, and crust were good. Altogether a good pizza. My spouse had the pepperoni and chicken (I'll be getting this one next time). The pepperoni had good flavor but the chicken is what really made the pizza sing. Flavorful and filling. Restaurant: its really a pick-up and go establishment Customer Service: Quick, friendly, and helpful. When I went to pick up my pizza I was greeted as I came in, paid, and was out the door in under 30 seconds. Biggest rule of thumb for a restaurant to succeed: Food will get them through the door, service will get them to return...so keep it up. Aroma has single handidly restored my faith in eat 24. After so many failures aroma comes through with successful order after successful order. No matter what it is I get they get the order correct and they arrive pretty quick. Even if I order 2 hours before they open they'll show up with the right stuff at the right time Their food is great. Being a security guard you're always in the hunt for a good delivery lunch place and you're pretty much stuck with pizza and Chinese because they're usually the only ones that'll deliver, Aroma is my new favorite lunch spot at work I've gotten everything from pizza, wings, cheese sticks, chicken nuggets and garlic bread and I've always wiped the proverbial plate clean. They have canned Pepsi , need I say more? They've got the two liter or the 20 oz I mean talk about variety. We were on a DC trip with a large group and had about 7 different orders go in to Aroma Wednesday evening to be delivered to a hotel. It was the worst service and food wasn't good either. The last two orders didn't arrive until TWO hours later. We expected the pizzas to be free with that long of a wait, but they refused and said they would take the pizzas back if we didn't want them. We had already waited two hours for the pizzas, so why would we want them to take it back?? Their excuse was that they were closing at 11 (all orders were put in before 9:30) and they had to go back and clean up and close up their business. Yes, you are a business and you serve customers and part of that is customer satisfaction and closing up shop at the end of the night! They told us everyone was told their order would be delivered within an hour, but that still didn't explain a two hour wait for the last orders. I'm sure pizzas would have been free had it been a larger chain. And they also messed up several orders, but at that point it was too late and not worth the effort. We come back to the area every year and we will not be ordering pizza from them again. We should've listened to the concierge and have ordered elsewhere!! read more

First review went well. We had high hopes for the second. What really upset me was after paying a decent price for three appetizers and their "Two 12" sub, chips and soda deal" I was severely disappointed. They served me a moldy sandwich - a good spot of it that I saw is dark and green. That bread was sitting for quite a while before it made its way out the door to our home. Sadly, I made it through half of my sandwich before I saw this. My fiancé's sandwich was fine. He called in to report it, and the owner or manager on duty called him a liar, in so many words, saying that "I don't believe you, Sir." My message to Aroma? Well, believe the picture he's going to show you if you're going to act ignorant and ignore a food quality problems and potential health problems. It's your business, run it and act like it. Don't blame the customer because you are too cheap to admit you're serving your customers old food and they call you out on it.
