This is one of the most outstanding pizza places to get a good slice of veggie pizza. I always judge off of the service and also the veggies on my slice of pizza was wonderful and LET ME TELL YOU!!!! This was one of the best small tucked away pizza places that I've gotten a slice from. Their delivery service is terrible with not using a third party. It took like an hour and a half for delivery on a week night, not even a weekend. No communication about the status of your delivery unless you call them and even then, they don't know once it's left the spot. The pizza was okay to the taste when it arrived, but by then it was like I couldn't even enjoy it. read more

I love the Arlington Duccini's! In addition to having great food, they are open late (until 4AM!) and they deliver (yay!). At this point, I even have my own favorite delivery guy. They are always kind, patient and caretaking in putting together my order with my requested modifications and preferences. In addition to their wonderful pizza (I order all my pizzas with "light cheese" because their standard portions are so generous), I recently started including their pastas in my delivery and find them terrific. My current favs are the stuffed shells and the spaghetti with a double meatballs portion. I order lots and then eat the leftovers over the week. Yum! Again, I have worked out the modifications I prefer to make each dish exactly what I want for my maximum personal enjoyment and they always come through. One more time? I noticed my order through DoorDash was taking significantly longer than expected, so I called the restaurant directly and was informed that they handle their own deliveries. Unfortunately, I was placed on hold and then hung up on multiple times. When I finally reached someone, I was spoken to very rudely and told their system was down. After an hour and a half, I managed to get through again and was assured the order was on its way--however, it never arrived. The best local pizza joint for me. Great hours, cheesy pizza, and juicy subs. If you are about healthy food, then this is not the place for you. Pizza: The pizza is perfect for me. Cheesy, balanced sauce, and appropiately sized and topped. Unlike other local pizza places that skimp on toppings, you do not ever have to worry about that here. The only thing I wished this place had was cheese stuffed crust. How could they not? Vegan Cheese: Having vegan cheese should be optional with the big pizza chains. Duccini's cares about people with allergies and preferences. It does count as a topping if you want it a substitute. Still cheesy. Spaghetti: The spaghetti is decent. Nothing crazy. They put a decent amount of sausages for the meat spaghetti. Philly Cheesesteak: This thing is greasy and filling. The steak has flavor, never dry. The toppings are good and are enough for this big fat juicy cheesesteak. Wings: The wings were alright. The sizes are a little bigger than Pizza Hut's. This place was on point. We were out and about and craving some late night pizza and I remember seeing this place on Instagram and it was not disappointing at all. It was so good. We devoured it in the car. NY style, thin and the sauce was just right! Bonus points to this place for being open 24 hrs. I got a humongous slice of cheese pizza. This was catered for my work. I thought these peaches were very good, with a plethora of toppings on each type, something you don't see at pizza places as much anymore because they skimp on the toppings and that's when there's just one type. The pizza had a balanced combination of flavors, which should be difficult to do given the various flavors at play. Pros: the food came very fast and it was still hot when I got it. There was a lot of food The pasta was cooked very well. The garlic bread was great. Cons: I ordered pasta with meat sauce and never have I ever seen it like this. The sauce was watery The meat was very, let's just say I didn't finish it. I called to ask if their meat was halal and got hung up on by a rude rude worker. I was told it was halal before but now when I ask the owner he admitted that it is NOT HALAL. Don't trust the workers or any halal websites as this place will lie to you and feed you the haram. read more

Eating this at 2 AM while sobering up is where it's at, so this review will speak from my late night experience and mindset. My friends and I shared a pizza with pepperoni and spinach. The sauce was amazing. Bread was good. Cheese was pretty stretchy and tasty. I liked the clumps of spinach on top of the pizza instead of like random petals everywhere. It's a bit odd that they put pepperoni underneath the cheese, but that's not really a complaint. Overall, this was a very good choice for a late night meal after some drinking. The delivery does take about an hour or so, though. We also got a side of fries but they were pretty soggy and tasteless. They did give us lots of ketchup, so I guess that makes the sad fries taste a bit better. read more

Ordered Duccini's pizza for takeout. I really like that they have takeout deals. We ordered on Yelp and got an XL 2 topping pizza and a 2L soda. For pizza we did pepperoni and onion. Note - pepperonis are under the cheese. The cheese is super melty and delicious and the toppings were fresh. The crust is what separates it from NY-style for me although they didn't promise it'd be NY-style. I am from NY and looking for the pizza I used to eat growing up. Overall though, I'd say we had a good experience!! Pizza was ready on time and it was still hot by the time it got home. read more

Decided to try a different place after getting tired of Pizza Hut and other nearby chains. This place had the best reviews in the area and thankfully Yelpers knew best! We ordered the specialty meat pizza, cheese bread and a 2 liter of coke. The pizza was really good. My only criticism would be that the crust could use another few minutes in the oven (easy to do while reheating at home). The bacon bits were amazingly crunchy. So good! I'll have to pass on the order of cheese bread next time though. 4 small pieces of cheap baguette cut up and thrown in the oven. No hint of butter or garlic. Definitely great pizza and that's what it's all about! We'll be back for sure. read more

The fact that this place is sitting at 3.6 stars is just absolutely heinous. This pizza is straight gas. I swear these guys are descendants of whoever originally created pizza. Delicious pizza. However, I received a pie that was completely wrong I simply asked for an xl pepperoni,sausage and cheese instead I only got an xl pepperoni. Plot Twist: The asshat dropping off my pizza took extra money from me the pie itself was $19 so I gave him $20(no problem btw) he ended up taking an entire extra $10 in tip when I asked for change to break down the ten itself and he even complained about the tip amount I was giving he argued with me of course I yelled back you don't entitle yourself to another man's wallet ever the customer is always right. Seriously, I hope the manager of the location sees this. It's unacceptable it would turn off anybody ordering from here. God Bless America...Or what's left of it read more

We had a very disappointing experience on a takeout order on 9/2. I ordered an XL tomato and cheese pie and a garden salad. I am familiiar with the U-street location and had ordered from there when I lived in Dupont Circle. The pizza from last night was incredibly greasy and when biting into it, all we could taste was salt. Since we ordered via the platform "Slice", I contacted a representative to convey this message to the restaurant. The response from the restaurant was "we do not put salt on our pizza". It was a poor response. Even if extra salt was not added (though very hard to believe it wasn't), it was clearly in the cheese, sauce, etc. The pie was inedible and the restaurant did not do anything to compensate us for it. We will not be ordering from this establishment again. read more

Pizza is straight awful. Had a large Pepperoni and Canadian Bacon. Cheese is rubbery, plastic tasting.... Very cheap and low quality that overpowers the pizza. The dough is soft and chewy, no crisp at all. So much grease from the cheese and pepperoni in which they place under the cheese so couldn't really tell or taste how much pepperoni they actually put on the pizza. The Canadian Bacon was ok. Would rather eat Little Caesars pizza than this place. read more

My roommate and I just moved here from Chicago, and adjusting to Alexandria's incredibly slight nightlife has been challenging. Namely... not being able to find places open past 1AM on weekdays for wine nights (when we just want a quick n' dirty order of pizza and wings). We're students, and having free delivery so late at night is an incredibly convenient (and rare) find in these parts. This place DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Not only was the delivery prompt, fresh, and friendly, the food quality far exceeded our expectations for a 3AM delivery! Absolutely 100% recommend, and I can only hope that more restaurants follow Duccini's lead in the greater Alexandria area-- we're all getting drunk out here & wanting some good late night delivery, too! Sorry but this is after 4 trips to Duc's- Please cook the pizza especially if asked for Well Done. Next as this is a middle eastern run establishment the flavor applet should not be ignored. Cumin and Oregano are great in sauce not just salt and garlic powder. You can do much better. Cheese is from a bulk and is pretty much tasteless for the most part. Blend some together and you will be shocked at the difference. Not just a reduction of grease but the flavors combine to set your product apart. Your house specializes in Giant Slice so you should pour pride into the pie, maybe finish on a hot stone or grill top to had a crispness. You can ad some skill and you will be surprised-try fresh herbs in season. You can make bigger better- good luck. read more

This Duccini's is different. Their huge slices aren't the same as the DC location. The pizza is a lot thicker and it just tastes like you're eating a below average pie. The sauce isn't desirable, nor distinguishable. I'm sure some people might prefer to eat flavored bread. But I like my pizza to have texture and flavor. Their slices are basically a triangle shaped medium pizza. When they mess up your order, the manager isn't around unfortunately. And their employees like to annoyingly leave their paper menus over the peephole, so you can't see out of your door when somebody knocks. As well as leave one on the back door too. Please stop doing this. It makes me want to not order from this place. read more

I'm a huge fan of Duccini's! I used to visit the DC location frequently, and was very excited to find a location in Arlington after I moved out here. It's a fantastic price for how big the slices are, and they use use great ingredients. I've had Duccini's in the daytime - no need to only enjoy this pizza after a late night. The workers are always incredibly nice and some friends that I made at the DC location now work at the Arlington location from time to time. They've even catered a birthday party I had. It has been about 2 months since I ordered pie from Duccini's and it has not gotten back to the quality level it once had. Dough is chewy and raw tasting. Time to proof and some baking powder might help. There still enough cheese for two pies which I like Anchovies spot on, diced onions fade away and go unnoticed but are there flavor wise. So over time we have changed our pizza places frequently because for one reason or another we get disappointed by them.. This was the first time we had Duccini's Pizza and everything was great. I'm so happy they opened this location! Driving to d.c and finding parking wasn't easy. These guys really know how to make pizza! I don't know whether it's the sauce, right amount of cheese, how they make their crust, or maybe how the toppings are always spread evenly...but it always hits the spot for me. Only thing I would say is they need to tell the workers to lighten up a bit, seems like they try and rush you out. read more
