People go to play different formats, and the owner sets the tone and is the barometer for the "weather" in general. Friendly, welcoming shops tend to build stronger smoother sailing communities. I didn't get that here. When I asked about local EDH events, I was told there's one Commander night. That's cool but I only play edh so I'm curious for other areas. When I asked about the broader EDH community, the owner was dismissive and overly corrective. It felt closed-off rather than supportive, especially when he made it clear he doesn't promote anything beyond his own store. That approach doesn't work for me. I prefer spaces with a more open-minded, generous vibe, not a "there can be only one" mentality. As an old-school player, I value basic respect and being part of a positive, inclusive nerd community. I'll look elsewhere.

The staff are knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely care about the players walking through the door. That's not something you can fake, and it shows in how the community shows up. Whether you're brand new to TCGs or deep in the hobby, you feel like you belong there. They also do a phenomenal job supporting events and keeping the scene active. There's always something going on, and it creates that energy that great local game stores used to have, but a lot of places have lost. So as of June 1st, when this change goes into effect, I will no longer be a customer and will take my business elsewhere. The reasons given for this change blame customers instead of their lack of business sense. It sounds like they don't know their customer base (i.e. they don't know what to pre-order and what doesn't sell). We have enough subscription based crap being forced on us (cars, housing, etc.). STOP WITH THE SUBSCRIPTIONS.

I really don't have time to be bothered with reading it every time but my interpretation is either a lack of honesty or a lack of confidence (or both) in their response... either way it's a red flag (and annoying)! Regarding the response posted: I was never given a choice of fabric so I also consider that a failure of Affordable Linen Supply; not of my own. It is your duty to educate a prospect and offer choices; that's what good sales people do. Further, the reason I asked that you stop emailing me is because I wasn't particularly keen on the reply I received (screenshot posted) after I questioned the price compared to the price to purchase them brand new. Firstly, I was not properly addressed! My name is not "yeah" and your reply seemed rude; again, "Yeah, it includes the cost of pressing them so they are ready to use, but if you are able to find them pressed and ready then that's awesome:)" - I would never address a prospect (nor customer) in this manner but we clearly differ. Further, when I stated the price to purchase is 1/5 the price to rent through Affordable Linen Supply, why was it not then that I was told there are different fabrics available? Why was I only told that you guys iron? Why was I not educated if you are such experts? I have since received the linens I purchased and they are of excellent quality; I am very pleased! I will have my employees make sure they are pressed prior to our event and we will bring our steamer for any travel wrinkles - your ironing is certainly not worth upwards of $500 and I don't need a license and bond to furnish my own linens. Lastly, your response only further makes my case as to why I do not recommend Affordable Linen Supply. I've never been fond of excuses and senseless rebuttals. Nonetheless, I wish you the best.

The delivery person arrived on time but set up wasn't indicated on his list. He was great about it and called the office right away to clarify. He was really professional and friendly about that, I know I would have been really annoyed if I was him. He set up the chairs PERFECT and checked details with me. He went through all the linens with me to make sure it was all there. All items were in great condition, no stains, tears, etc. I had actually brought a steamer because I hate creases in linens but I didn't even need to use it. Pick up was seamless, I think, idk I was drunk and didn't see them but everything was out on time! Hahahha My only complaint would be with the office side. I revised my quote a couple times along the way and they kept referencing the wrong quote when they would contact me. Even the week before my wedding they contacted me to confirm everything and it was the wrong quote. A couple items were the wrong color, but it was fine. I saw the delivery person's list had a different color was listed than what was on my quote. Also some random person and phone number was listed as the contact in my quote. Despite the errors, they were quick to fix them and I was so happy with the chairs, linens, and delivery process.

I just want to answer to the people that are mad and put me a bad review at my place, first Pokemon when up like crazy market is up I'm definitely not having an empty shelf's just cause it when up im definitely restocking and I know I will pay more and people should understand that there hard to get product anywhere 3 months ago I had so much product below msrp prices which I loved before cause I knew I had good prices for my customers, second, my employees could be seen anywhere at a card sections at target or any other stores that I don't have control of them they could buy anywhere they want, third, me putting bad reviews on a shop bro I'm a damn customer as well I collect and support other shops as well so I could put a bad review if I want same to them., now for the guy that said he got the jumbo box for $90 less well we are working hard to be a member of fanatics topps we just have a year on the shop they need us to be a year and half for us to join them and they want us to sale $60k a month for them to let us in with them all I'm saying is that we are trying our best to bring better prices for you guys unfortunately at this moment I'm still working with 3rd parties distribution. My son(Dom) and I went in for the first time . We've been to other stores and they tend to ignore us , but these guys were amazing . My son is only 5 years old and first time in there and these guys made it memorable for him. They hooked us up with a free pack and everyone in there was nice. The boys had a good time bouncing back and forth between the VR and the other PlayStation games. It was perfect place for our celebration and we highly recommend it. If your kid is walking out of a toy store feeling "disappointed," then it wasn't the toy store that did that. It was low functioning fumbling of the child's experience. This a good store that struggles with stock and pricing. If you have been to a Go! store, you know what you're in for. Certainly some constructive criticism is warranted. This Toys R Us is pretty big, but not as big as the ones I've seen before. However, a child can wander the aisles and find PLENTY of toys to beg their parents to buy for them. However, toy prices are pretty high. I think you can find and buy toys at lower prices on Amazon, but the appeal of Toys R Us is that you can shop in person. I'm very excited to see Toys R Us back! It's not only the place where a kid can be a kid, but where an adult can be a kid, too!
