Quote of $180 for a couple of dings and $300 for a little work on the Rear Bumper. Return on Tuesday, and speak to a gentlemen with a cool fu man chu goatee who agreed with the prices but found out i was using a living social deal so brought over 'Dave' to talk to me. Dave took a look and the dings and we setup an appointment for Thursday just for the ding work, decided to go elsewhere for the bumper work. Called on Wednesday to confirm the appointment since no one has written anything down in any of my conversations, spoke with Dave again and was confirmed. Thursday i go in and Dave had me show him the dings again and now, he's going to have to drill a hole and access the dings because they are double walled and the price has doubled. He didn't recall ever looking at the car and didn't know where the quote came from. The one star is for the terrible customer service. Dave was nice and a gentleman the entire time, just not a good businessman. Being honest we waited for the owner to come out and offered to repair the scuff outside of using insurance. Thinking this would be an easy fix we contacted Recon to repair the damages. Sent over a variety of photos and was quoted $250 to repair the paint scuff. Juan shows to her house Saturday morning 10/04/14 and I get a call from the girl stating that the new cost is going to be $75 higher than the original quote. After speaking to Dave on the phone he was not appologetic for the increase nor was he willing to work with us in anyway. So now we are stuck paying that because the guy is already at her house. Shortly after agreeing to pay the increase I get a text from her stating "The guy that came over suggested this....To do this the right way I am just going to go through insurance." Which is shady practice to me seeing as mobile paint repair is your specialty. Go talk to Jesse at Chicago L.A. Paint. He will show you courtesy, speed and great paint work at a better price.
